There are great societal double standards at play. Indeed, women complain (important that this is not a deal breaker) that men aren't in touch with their feelings, nor do they understand the feminist struggle, and a lot of the time, they are part of the problem. The typical masculine ideal is toxic, etc. Now, when men act on this, when they actually open up, showing actual vulnerability, pretty much act on everything a feminist wants, they are no longer fulfilling the masculine ideal as society …

Turn, A century or so ago, before civil rights and women's suffrage, this was a real problem. Now it's not, and the various organizations and mechanisms in place that promoted equality are indeed creating inequality. In Iron John, Robert Bly describes how, before the Industrial Revolution, men of all ages would gather talk, communicate and create communities. As women would create sisterhoods, men would create brotherhoods, and all varieties of problems and triumphs could be shared. Capitalism a…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iron_John:_A_Book_About_Men This book talks about the "absent" father figure. In your case literally, but Bly talks about how its become generational due to our civilized world separating children from fathers. That for a time men brought home the bacon and women were expected to raise the children. No other time was like it and it created generational scars inso much boys never really connected with their fathers, instead they know what it is to be good mother and …

That jordon peterson interview kinda made it clear to me a lot of women are "waiting" for the system to give them a chance. That the rules need to be changed so that there are 50 percent women in ceo positions. That is unfortunately not how capitalism works. There aren't rules to make things more fair. Only results matter. Women need to assert themselves and shed off the trappings of how they think they should behave. There is so much left over from when things weren't equal and a lot of women d…

Again, if the genders were all reversed this would get shit. Just in general, but also because of the current wave of abuses coming forward and anti-lockeroom thinking. Like you know it would appear somewhere and it would be "distasteful" in light of recent events. Whoever did it would be facing a scandal. It shouldnt be, but that is how it is. And sort of sexuality is. Really the male stripper for females on the outer shell is "a joke". Sort of like a twist on the men and female strippers trope…

Its ageist and discriminatory. I was bugged by it at first thinking that was the case but its not. It's simply cultural and has nothing about being ageist or discriminatory. I mean, its basically a pejorative. Which is why women are offended by getting called girls or chicks. You essentially pointed out how it was a pejorative by associating it with diminished capabilities, and thus it is a patronizing term. It infantilizes someone AND reduces their agency. When these terms are used its either h…

I use "kid" as a term of endearment for someone who is young without much life experience. Not that they are an actual child. This is a English colloquialism such as: Referring to young men or men as "boy". Referring to women as "girls" Referring to a SO as "baby" or "babe" Care to revise that? No. Unless you provide an actual reason.

Kid was 18 when she started. That's not a whole lot of real life experience especially concerning authority figures. If you are a good kid you do what authority figures say without much question. They don't teach your rights concerning police until college and sometimes not at all. But really in a good society it shouldn't even need to be taught. But yeah young people these days are a whole lot smarter and dumber in a lot of ways.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot this isn't the place to share opinions (that you don't agree with) and experiences. Sorry sir, should I MLA cite all sources and reeeeeeeeally make sure you know what information should be uploaded into your brainmatrix? Why are you upset? So crying is a emotional response. Generally if you are overwrought with emotion you end up crying. Doesn't need to be for sadness, nor are you directly looking for attention. Because of this most people can't really control their crying…

But you are just saying that. You did not provide a source. I looked and could not find anything to say this is true. Crying and singing are also dramatically different. You can listen to singing for hours but generally you want crying to stop. You can be honest: is this just your theory on it? I can accept that if its your own personal theory but you should say that it is your own theory in the future.

Do you have at least...a wikipedia article or some sort of source of this? You just made it up in your head it sounds like. Here is the defition of singing: Singing is the act of producing musical sounds with the voice and augments regular speech by the use of sustained tonality, rhythm, and a variety of vocal techniques. A person who sings is called a singer or vocalist. Singers perform music (arias, recitatives, songs, etc.) that can be sung with or without accompaniment by musical instruments…

They're about how much a girl hurt him, how much he misses a girl, or how he can treat a girl better than the guy she's with currently.Essentially everything TRP tells you not to say or even think about, Do you think lyrics and song craft actually equate who Shawn Mendes is as a person? That fiction equals reality? Women and Girls will like Shawn Mendes for a lot of reasons. A man himself defines himself what it is to be a man. That is to say your definition can be vastly different from someone else. But don't be so quick to apply your standard to someone else. How people are raised, how they were educated, etc can all be different. It might be softer than your own, it might have been harder. But don't be surprised if a person raised in a harder circumstances might like hearing positive messages about themselves from others, since they never received that growing up…

The western ideal of man, born out the greatest generation, is a father who is absolutely toxic and distant from his own children. He is the sole bread-winner who left before his children awoke and returned at 6 pm for dinner where afterwards he would watch television. A boys interaction with the ideal father of the time is limited and psychologically breaking for boys who physically become men but never fully become men in the mental sense. For you see as a result boys are raised exclusively by…

I've not been in a "high concentration" of women but hospitals, schools etc seem to run fine. Yep, going with women work best people in these cases they can focus on the patients, students, customers, etc. In corporate land their focus becomes inward to employees in the company. Also hospitals, schools, etc have higher generally qualifiers for people joining most of the time. It means smarter women who are more socially aware. Corps and private businesses can hire whoever they want.

Boys have to compete a lot more than girls, while basically any girl can fit into a society as long as they are pretty enough and have a good mental attitude. Moving into an area where they have to compete, they are in the bottom rung now and have to fight their way up to prove their worth.

I suggest you guys read Iron John in which he describes how this sort of society came to be. Throughout history and other parts of the world men have always had social groups, groups of all ages, where they came together and bonded and learned from each other. This is from child to young adult. Such a thing is non-existant in western society, in America in particular. It simply disappeared when industrialization and distractions came along. Added to this is the idea that men are the sole breadwi…

Alpha male: Does not seek attention - and therefore always gets it. But know that you can always be the most powerful presence in any room or situation. Why? People need to be led. That's why leaders are few, followers are many. Tip - Don't feel the need to entertain a room full of women with displays of this and that. In order to get money out of you the girl will constantly say "yes" and do things to please you, including listening you talk. As such you could say anything and it won't matter as long as you are giving them money. Value amongst real girls is different, they like money sure, but there are a whole list of other factors you need to conquer. Its real simple economics: If you have something of value to a person you become in demand. If you don't have anything of value there is reason to talk to you. There is likely people you don't value in your life and really there is no reason to talk to them but perhaps out of charity or social networking. As long a woman looks good she is always in demand. She has her pick about what meets that demand the best. A lot of men on the other hand don't really understand why people don't talk to them.…

Once upon a time "home-maker" was a real job. I mean a real job. I am talking about before the advent of various technological advances that basically minimized that role. 20 years ago home maker was still a sort dying profession. Now its dead, you literally cannot marry a women without a job unless you are making 6 figures. However the gender stereotype is still there and so is the expectation.

if there are several warnings to leave the area, and you don't leave the area, just sort of mill about, you are going to get sprayed. How do you prevent attacks from occurring? You disperse the crowd. How do you do that after vocal warnings fail? You use force. This is not random violence. This isn't about being fair. This about the law.

Whats truly sad about this is when men open up to other men they are equally shamed by women. IE clubs like this, men only establishments, men grouping, men bonding, is not seen as healthy mental relationships but patriarchy, oppressing women. This style of feminism really doesn't care about men has no place for men in it, even if what they say they want men to do is contradictory. "I love you." Three words. All you need. You can go maybe one or two sentences over but if you start writing papers and making websites professing your love...you are going to come off needy and a bit crazy. Women like a curt man. Watching hardcore degrading porn for a feminist is akin to watching gay porn for a christian. Despite it might being aroused by it they refuse to do so on a higher logical level. Female soldiers weren't on the front line combat during WW2. Why does it matter then? Rape is about sex in a lot of cases. Especially between a woman and a man. Back alley rapes don't happen because of power play. People want the power to override a "no" during a rape. Pretty obvious rape is about power. I'm not talking about the recent Afghan wars, but rather war in general. Females rarely particpated in war before the 21th century so there is nothing to talk about. I would be on board with what your saying, but /r/seduction is basically what you are describing. It is now and was when TRP came about. TRP is the extremist form of /r/seduction but now certain people claiming its more moderate and this sort of thing pushes in that direction. People don't like this moderate thinking and I think that's the main problem here: There is no middle ground. You are a blue pill or a red pill on TRP, and blue bill is an exclusively negative context, a context were TRP s…

What women and humans want is value. Not necessarily money but it plays a big part, but generally what can you as a person provide to others. It would be a bit long to get into but many Redpill strategies offer up a refreshing take on male to female dynamics, that some females dig. Other do not. But really, how its described on this thread is red pill men acknowledging they have value, sometimes too much, and blue pill men undervaluing their value, or are spot on. A white knight syndrome is the …

You consent for evil to happen to you. Wishing and hashtaging rapists to just go away is like wishing to become a Disney princess, it's not going to happen. Words and wishes just don't work compared to actual actions. Not to say the whole answer is "protect yourself girls" but its part of the answer. You destroy the "rape" culture on both ends.

Deep down somewhere feminists blame their mothers and their grandmothers for essentially being floor mats for generations. They can't admit this though, so males should be blamed when it is really nobodies fault but how society is.

While things have always sort of sucked for women in our perspective, history does show women have always wielded immense social power and even political power in the societies they are present in. Not to say it was equal, but it wasn't like women were treated as slaves nor had any power or influence to wield.

I think the problem is amongst women who want the power of technology but don't want the stigma or the work that comes with it. Those who complain the loudest generally are english and society majors who do little to understand technology or even participate in it. Its not being part of sports that is the problem, its the obsession people have with sports that's the problem. Society elevates sports to the highest levels but at the same time most of society does not play sports. But its that elevation, and money, that creates a level of undue importance where players egos are boosted to the point where they feel superior to others.

/r/seduction12/05/13 07:38 AM

A couple observations about body language: Anyone with at least a morticum of success knows about body language. You step into a room of businessmen I guarantee none of them are going to be looking into the ground or holding their arm. This isn't a just a PUA thing, this is a real life skill you apply everywhere. Being aware of your own body language and others is a huge advantage over people you don't know it and people who do. Something body language often doesn't talk about is where a person …

Indeed, the context is important when judging body language. If someone crosses their arms it doesn't mean they are necessarily closed off but they might be doing it for comfort or they are genuinely cold. Be keen about the conversation and where its going. While girls are great masters of body language most of them don't know but they can pick up on it subconsciously. This is actually true of most people. While they do pick up on it, they let their own body language run wild almost like an exag…

My question was mostly rhetorical. Being a "lady" has sex-negative and sexist connotations, whereas "gentleman" doesn't have nearly as strong of a negative connotation. Why is that and how so? Your response didn't really answer my question, and then it turned pretty misogynistic. So a "lady" should not be kind and courteous? I don't see how that is misogynistic when my definitions are equivalents.
/r/MensRights11/02/13 05:26 PM

I suppose the equivalent of Gentleman which by the broadest definition to be kind and courteous at all times ,which actually is a poor choice since women don't a respect a guy who is basically the equivalent of a door mat. Women abuse these sort of gentlemen and eventually take them for granted. Ill take note its not the same as a "Nice Guy" who is obsessive but close to it. Why are males more likely to commit these crimes than women? To answer that why are men more troubled than women in our society? What is different from previous from the past? See I think this advice for "pickup" is better for one night stands or short terms relationships since you may sacrifice your self interests for the goal of entertaining others. Especially in this case, the girl you are trying to get with.

There are several approaches...While author might not want to admit the stereotype does in fact work on certain women. IE being shallow sort of male works on a shallow sort of female. But its something that really is used in the one night stand sort of scene that much of seduction is tailored around. What you should take out of this article is the warm and caring part that alphas spew out in front of women while still maintaing a rough masculinity about it. Its not caring in the sense of "freind…

Her logic is retarded. Evolutionary speaking sure good looking kids are nice but its much better to have kids that can provide for their future kids, IE smart kids that can land a long term mate from her husband. Because chances are they are going to find it tougher to provide for themselves and instead depend on their looks. Well girls gone wild is actually trying to make the girls forget that there is a camera there or to minimize its impact. Also the girls on girls gone wild are inebriated and are often offered meager items, like t-shirts, for showing their breasts and signing the release.

Kids reach puberty at around 14 years old which more or less is the time evolution has determined that the human body is ready for a baby AKA sex. No. Staring is a form of intimidation. Just by staring you are trying to intimidate somebody in these cases. The intent plays in if it works or not, that is to say sometimes it does not work and sometimes it does but it does not matter because only the purposeful intent to do something is the crime. Beyond that humans can suffer psychological damage from such things while cars and paintings cannot. Thats why there are laws to prevent people to infringe on others right.

Well, if that's your belief then we're at an impasse about how the law should be interpreted. Women past a certain age (around 30) self worth drops dramatically when they no longer have young men perusing them relentlessly. Only if you mention this or a girl brings out a fucking measuring tape she won't be any the wiser. Nearly all noticeable flaws you yourself bring attention to. Here im a good 6-7 and girls have called it "big" but am I the biggest out there? Not at all. Having an about average sized penis does not get me laid every week. Im sure there are men out there with smaller penises that get more action than me and im sure there are ones with larger one who are probably still virgins. Ultimately you just …

They said "chivalry is dead" before they even knew the circumstances. And is inability to catch it barehanded makes him less of a man? That she should go off with someone else who knows how to catch baseballs and that is what will make her happy? Whats being implied here is ridiculous.

Chivalry died when Equality was born. I mean the girl can take a hit she isn't a flower but seeming the commenters all believe she is along with assumingly every other woman out there. I think it might the wrong board for this but really nobody expected her to catch the ball? Not even herself?

The thing about much PUA schools I feel is that they teach men junk but tell them to "Move on" constantly. That isnt PUA, that's just playing the numbers.

That's not an affirmation, that's a delusion. If she left him he must not have been "good enough" for her - there's not many other reasons besides that one that a girl would break up with a man. Its a somewhat good point but the criteria of what good enough is much like a woman: Fickle and emotional. Is what was good enough suddenly is not a few months later for instance. You have guys who do the same thing but to say one person is definintely at fault when try and make a relationship work is a …

She has already moved into an apartment with her new boyfriend, who is better than me in pretty much every way. I am pathetic and depressed. It's gotten to the point where I am seriously considering suicide. First lose this attitude. Depressives internalize everything, optimists don'et. It was not a probelm with you it was a probelm with her. People usually walk all over me in social situations, and I am shorter/weaker/ and not as attractive as my friends. Basically men need to be more expressive like women in this case when is comes for calls to help. Women who are more emotional, more in touch with their feelings are more likely to cut their wrists and what not if they are deeply troubled. They can openly cry about things, and talk in a more open matter to thier friends about it, etc. Men on the other hand are taught that they should never cry nor should they be expressive or else they are a "fag" and a "pussy" by their friends. As such they end…

Men are seen as instinctively evil. If you have muscles or a manly body type even more so. The only non threatening type of man is skinny or fat and since fat people are naturally ugly only skinny men can do.

I wouldn't blame the selective service on this, blame not being able to draft women. Whats really amazing about it is that women oppose it tooth and nail.

Yeah its the ugly truth. Despite womens lib girls still wanted to be treated like submissive princesses and they are for the most part. I think after it women discovered along with rights came responsibilities but never really wanted that part. They wanted the right to vote but didn't want to get drafted for instance. They wanted to be equal on the dating field however would rather play a game of flirty eyes instead of asking someone out. As misogynist as it might sound ask yourself how many gir…

Because they arent overtly affected by emasculation and there are lot more powerful men than woman, them supporting it would seem hypocritical from a public perspective. The common man however when he gets divorced or is accused of rape is, and common man needs to fight for his rights.

In Bragg v. Swanson (I studied it for a intro to law class) the school basically punished a kid for wearing the confederate flag. The court found that punishing a kid for wearing the confederate flag violated his first amendment rights, freedom of expression and all that. I would say the same applies here. It isn't constitutional especially if its a public school but cases are rarely held in this matter and if they did would unlikely ever reach the supreme court. But saying a boy can't dress lik…

There is only one reality, but you can pretend you believe in other people realities to better suit your nefarious purpose. To define reality should be everyone's ultimate goal. I think karate is only useful at the higher levels when it gets serious and you have a authentic teacher. Beyond that 90% of fights end up on the ground and mcdojo karate doesn't really deal when your opponent is pummeling you or has you in simple wrestling lock. Flashy moves and throws are just too unrealistic to do in a real fight when the opponent first move is often to tackle you. Basically put Mcdojo karate doesnt teach how to deal with real fighters which i like i said is hallowed confiden…
