The issue in these teacher-student cases is more often than not an issue of abuse of a position of power/trust, not an age of consent issue.

This is why I auto-downvote art uploaded with the artist clearly visible, no matter how good it is (regardless of sex, but it’s always females who do it). They’re not sharing their art, they’re sharing a selfie with art attached. It’s upvote-fishing simply because they’re female (and it sadly works). My silent and unnoticable protest against this kind of narciscism.

I have forgotten my source, but I was informed that fermented soy does not have the estrogen-issues of raw soy. Best look it up to be sure, but I use soy sauce myself while avoiding eating edame-beans.

While I applaud this gentleman for flipping the system around on her, I can’t really see the reasoning behind these levels of monthly child support pay checks. No kid should cost you 2x $1750 a month to raise. These payments really should be capped at half of what a readonable standard of living for a child costs. I as an adult (granted, not in the US, but a more expensive country if anything) live very well off of less than $1200/month.

Even outside of #metoo issues, this is just the only right thing to do as a guy. Guys can’t compete with girls. If you fight and lose, you freaking lost to a girl, and that puts you way down the hierachy in the eyes of your peers and it’s shameful. If you win, you beat a girl, great job (/s), and gain no respect from your peers, and it’s shameful. There’s no winning when playing with girls. Not playing is the only way. Boys and young men need to be allowed their own spaces to practice and compet…

You’re conflating intelligence with manipulation survival strategy and being more agreeable/less prone to go against the flow regardless of what’s “right”. It’s proven that women are of more average intelligence (distribution-wise) than men — there are more men of less than average IQ, and more of higher than average IQ, i.e. women’s intelligence is mediocore. Edit: Women’s strategies may be smarter on the whole, but individually women are not more intelligent, as in “IQ”.

That response infuriates me. There’s countless examples on women being judged much less harshly than men in court. Never the reverse.

Another lovely example of the cultural double-standard for females. Try saying your opinion as a man of what “a real woman” should or shouldn’t do. You’ll be dragged to the gallows.

The good does not wash out the bad, nor the bad the good. Take what good advice this man gives, and disregard what he says that you cannot use. Noone should follow any man blindly, and even the most revered do not stand above scrutiny.

We’re already taxed... Functionally anyone not benefitting from a tax deduction are the ones paying for it in practice. There are several deductions and tax-funded things that solely benefit married people and/or people with children. As men are the only net tax-payers in general, it is especially single men that pay for all these things. If anything you should get to pay less taxes as a single and/or childless man, to compensate for the vast amount of welfare and tax-funded institutions you are…

How is being reliant on your income in any way different to any other job? You have a choice. Yes, you will lose your income if you quit. Same for everyone. You are not forced to keep working that job any more than anyone else with bills are. Take responsibility for yourself and put money aside when you do work, so you won’t end up on the street in case you are without a job — on your own decision or not. Your only valid point is that there might not be adequate protection in place. This is a cr…

Hehe. I think if you like rock music, you’ll have a pretty good selection! Definitely seem more common in metal-circles. I’ve met quite a few women who like longer hair, so didn’t surprise me to see a few women chime in with that, but you were even more specific, so had to ask. I was especially curious about “the bun”. Many years ago, I saw a Youtuber, an american or canadian woman, who moved to Japan. In a video talking about US/CA- and Japan-differences she mentioned that: They don’t do no/sub on food orders here. If you don’t like something in a given order, you either pick it out, or order something else. I firmly believe that this is the main reason Japan is such an advanced society.

Oh, that’s quite long for most men..! Longest I ever had, my fringe was past my chin, when combed down. Wore it swept back, so it never looked like that though. Even then it got quite inconvinient. How do you like guys with very long hair wearing it?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/04/20 12:21 PM

But can short hair be even prettier than longer hair would be? That’s what I find interesting. You can look good with short hair, but to me you’d still look better with longer hair. I feel exactly the same about the straight-cut bangs. Some pull them off OK, but I think even those cases look better without.

Quarantined because of a bad guy who was on the news also frequented this sub. Coupled with the exposing of negative female behaviour — that’s considered “hostile” — this sub was an easy target. Agreed. Some men are just as bad in spending money “unnecessarily”. I won’t speak for your partners particular taste or priorities though. You guys need to weigh those cost/benefits yourselves. Everyone has different needs and priorities. My TV is 15 years old now. I most definitely consider an upgrade a waste of money, until the quality improvement is significant enough. This... Most guys only care about function in their homes, past a certain baseline level of comfort. Of course many have preferances towards aestetically pleasing functional items, like a good looking couch, but they don’t need huge collections of fancy nicknack to the same degree women do. They also tend towards continually changing these things, just for the sake of variety. Guys who spend a lot on home interior usually do so to facilitate and impress women they bring home.

I wish it was as straight forward as a female bias. It’s because only one religion does FGM but two do MGM. I know it’s pretty mainstream in US even outside of said religions, but this is where the cultural influence came from, and this is why — even if all people outside of the two religions stop doing it — you won’t be able to ban it. We have a tiny minority of it in Scandinavia, and a vast majority of people polled said they wanted it banned. Never passed the legislation. Very democratic...

I hate this “you’re beautiful / perfect the way you are”. It removes any sense of selfownership, responsibility or room for improvement. You are not perfect. You do not deserve respect or recognition simply for existing. Work on yourself. Improve. Every day. Then you can be recognised for your abilities and earn respect for your results. This goes for men and women.

I know weightloss is mostly about diet, but I applaud every single overweight person who takes even the smallest step towards a healthier self. It depends on it’s implementation. The main problem seems to be that it’s a catch-all phrase to mean “give people money”. — I’m Scandinavian, and we have a big welfare state. UBI makes a lot more sense in places that already have widespread welfare. I am for UBI, in the sense I want it to replace all welfare and most deductions, so everyone gets the same, and you aren’t favourably treated because you fit into Box A and not Box B. It would also remove a huge amount of administration expenses to j…

Yep! I did write “most nurses are women”. If your point is, that the percentage of women in the nursing-field is far higher than the percentage of, say, men in the doctor-field, you are also correct! No arguements there. In fact, I think it’s pretty common knowledge, that the fields in which women constitute the majority, they do so by a vast amount. Oversimplified you could say that women in general gravitate towards fewer/less varied fields than men do. Personally I don’t see a problem with th…

I agree with you on your 1st and 3rd statement. I am one of the old fashioned guys, who thinks men do some things better, and women do other things better. Again, I’m not personally annoyed by the extra cheers women get, for what is considered baseline for men, concerning your 2nd statement. So are men. Granted, fewer men than women, if it was all about procreating, but it’s not. It’s also about maintaining society. It’s not a problem as such, that everytime a woman does something it’s seen as more special or worth attention, but it is annoying in the context of all the yapping about equality and “strong and independant”. Personally I don’t mind praising women for being able to achieve the bare minimum expected standard of men, but then again I personally don’t see them as equal in …

Most doctors are men. Most nurses are women. Most porters are men. Most caretakers are women. In sheer numbers there might be more women in the industry, but it’s not like it’s 90% female. As a guy pointed out with truckdrivers as an example, there’s just a culture, in media and society, of focusing more on women’s plight over men’s.

I had to double-check. She looks scarily like one of my friends, who’s 30 this year. Not single last I checked, but definitely one of those women who never felt the clock ticking and was still “unsure about having kids” last time I saw her in 2019. That seems illegal. In my country prostitution is legal, but you obviously have to pay taxes of your income, just like with any self-owned business. Saw the post earlier and wondered if she’s implying that most women actually do a ton of stuff for their guys. The woman quit, because there isn’t adequate protection gear, and she “didn’t sign up for this”, meaning putting your own life at risk to save others. The man had been a retired doctor for decades, and came back at age 85 to help out in a crisis situation. The implication being that, when the going gets tough, the tough step up, and the weak bow out. — I don’t necesarily disagree with the woman’s decision, although it does reveal a difference in character.

My humble opinion: On the surface, there’s simply a lot of hostility towards “established norms”. Western society has institutionalised many of the norms we go against, so for everyone “still in the matrix” it can feel like an attack on their values, even though the whole point of MGOTW is to do your thing, and not caring about what others think and do. Good, healthy hair, for sure! That’s a good one. Highly valued by men. It’s a much bigger tragedy for a woman to lose her hair, getting bald spots or thinning, than it is for men. It’s a harsh word, true. I can only go from what I hear from shorter guys, being very average height in my country myself (182), but from what I see of people’s OLD-preferences (don’t use it myself), it seems that a lot of women want men who are taller than their nation’s average.
