It’s all about context. If you are afraid of the black person, who is not presenting any threat, because of their skin colour, that’s racist. If you are afraid of a man, who is not presenting any threat, just because he’s a man, that’s sexism. If you are a white person and your black driver is presenting a clear threat to you or is acting in a suspicious manner, then that’s not racism, as your fears are justified. If a women is in a car with a man and he is exhibiting clear, suspicious behaviour…

I totally agree! We can make a change. Although I doubt posting on reddit would do much, I know posting in this reddit would only get me hate as that’s what happens to all the other women who contribute. Men can totally be feminists and women can help men gain equal rights. Especially with how fucked men are in most court cases, it’s screwed up. I’m currently studying law so I can help others, since the justice system has a clear bias for women.

There are definitely issues that have to be resolved relating to mens rights, yet I haven’t seen any posts fighting for mens rights, it’s just shitting on women.

It doesn’t matter if women are more likely to be attacked by black men or white men, women are STILL more likely to be attacked by men, if they don’t feel safe riding with a man they don’t have to. If you don’t feel safe riding with a poc YOU don’t have to.

Well you can refuse anyone a ride or refuse to get in a car with someone, they can’t legally force you to ride with them. Anyone can attack anyone, but being a women it’s much more likely to be attacked by a man. I personally don’t mind being in a car with a man but many women are afraid, especially with all the horrible murders we hear about.

That’s just internalised racism.

This is about women being afraid to enter a car with a man, racism is a very different topic.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
