Those are not tenets of the left. At least not mainstream.

Comparing two kickstarter campaigns is nothing more than a difference between successful marketing. I must disagree with you here and insist that you're not looking deep enough. While marketing is going to play a big role, I think it's perfectly legitimate to point out the difference, nee injustice between someone who was wronged and someone who is wronging. And as is said before, the ensuing discussion was quite informative. This isn't /r/mildlyinteresting where you vote, perhaps make a pithy c…

Reject women over 25 and/or who have piercings? WTF? Congratulations, you've broken down one set of societal nonsense to replace it with yet another. Fool.

I'm not specifically accusing you of all those things. ..he says as he accuses me of it in the previous comment: You really are a piece of work, mixing in your bias with mainstream ideas so you don't get negative-karma spammed. So we've got baseless accusations, accusing me of both bandwagoning and now arguing in bad faith, and now we can add straight up lying to your list of sins. You could convince me by engaging in legitimate discourse and try to find out if all the hateful things are true or…

I met my commentors with no more hostility than they gave me. Oh really? Because in this thread, you called out people as sockpuppets just for having young accounts or not much CK, then when someone who didn't have a young account or a tiny amount of CK agreed, you accuse me of hopping on the bandwagon? You are being a douche right now - and honestly, my care about karma extends about as far as keeping fuckheads like SRS from burying things they don't like. Step back for a moment, please, and se…

If someone is stalking you on reddit, report it to the admins, it's one of the few things they take seriously. Considering that the admins appear to be on board with the shenanigans of the misandrist subreddits, that's highly unlikely. There are documented instances of doxxing and other behavior that would get anyone else banned or shut down. When radfems make the step of calling people's employers, and the Reddit admins stand by and do nothing, yeahno. That's not hystericism, that's a legitimat…

*misandrists. Feminism is a legitimate cause with legitimate issues - the problem is that, on Reddit, the loud, hateful, radical, backwards contingent is what gets the most press.

Two things. First off, /r/MensRights is not "the MRM" any more than SRS is "feminism". Secondly: I thought this movement was supposed to be about egalitarianism It is. Considering race, gender, etc instead of ability and other objective criterion is going the wrong way. That said, this is a somewhat misleading headline..

The end result has a disproportionate effect - and in fact this is the kind of faulty logic used to set up some really shitty laws in the past. For instance, the only reason cannabis became illegal was because of institutionalized racism back at that time. Black people smoked, white people didn't. Ban cannabis, only black people will be affected. Sure, it's illegal for everyone equally, but the intent and end result of the law was to disproportionately target blacks. Drawing guns and wars and wh…

Are you just missing this or are you not reading the article? The original reason for the surgical removal of the foreskin, or prepuce, was to control 'masturbatory insanity' – the range of mental disorders that people believed were caused by the 'polluting' practice of 'self-abuse.'"

Whoever came up with this is the biggest kind of fool. You know you don't have a leg to stand on once you start attacking mis-characterizations of your opponent's points rather then their actual points.

That's the thing about statistics though. They're a statement of fact (presuming they're accurate) They can't be -ist whether that word starts with sex or race.

If all you want is to use someone to satisfy an itch and then move on, I think that's cheap. Maybe, definitely if you lead the other person into thinking they're something there that isn't, but as long as both people know it's a "friend with benefits" type deal? There's nothing wrong with that. There's nothing inherently dishonorable about one night stands as long as everyone is aware that's what it is.
