I subscribed after I kept seeing feminists all over reddit whining about how misogynistic this place is. I just wanted to see how off base they were, which turned out to be quite a bit, as per usual. I disagree. I think it makes perfect sense. SPOILERS: In a post-apocalyptic world, men take control because that's what men do. I saw Mad Max today. I see no problem with the movie at all. Gender was barely even a topic except "there are some girls here and the villain is a man who has sex with women", and I liked Furiosa, even though there was like no dialogue at all and the entire movie is about exploding cars and little else. I never said anything about defending double standards. It definitely is one, to some extent, but I'd rather see it go the other way than make stuff like this a big deal. I don't like seeing our society moving towards one based on hysteria. Like I said, I don't think this should be a public or legal issue even if the sexes were reversed, especially since this is during a show.

Personally, I think this is a "big deal, move on" kind of issue, and instead of trying to make it an issue for men, I'd rather see it toned down for women. There's sexual assault, and then there's this. This is the kind of shit you deal with in one conversation between adults, not make a public issue about or try to press charges.

Oh, right. It wasn't obvious because you were comparing not being allowed to compete and then being the best when race neutral competitions were allowed, with being allowed to compete in gender neutral environments and still placing terribly so you invent your own gender league to be able pat yourselves on the back. I have seen some cases where feminist media claims the perpetrator was let go because of how she dressed, but when you look into it, it's just not true. Every single time it's because there wasn't any evidence, and the judge asked the victim what she was wearing among other questions to get an idea of what happened.
