This is the most satisfying response I have ever seen on Reddit. Thank you. Enjoy your platinum.

How?

I’m starting to think this is just intended as a first step in simply having the government nationalize higher education. They subsidize it until it becomes so unaffordable that the people beg for them to take it over. That way we get 4 more years of indoctrination and then eventually 8 more and eventually Education just becomes a lifelong pursuit totally controlled by the government. So it’s either millions of people being completely self-serving, narcissistic, economically illiterate morons or…

What does any of that have to do with capping college tuition, which FYI is only rising so aggressively BECAUSE of government subsidies. Do have any idea what a bubble is? Here’s a fact for you: Policies like what you suggest have made college degrees more expensive, while at the same time making them less valuable. That is only possible due to moronic government policy. Seriously, your ilk needs to grow up.

Thank you! These are some shortsighted motherfuckers. They literally have zero foresight about the consequences of their actions.

Most American voters are low IQ based on an anecdotal example from my local news in Ohio. Speak for yourself. Although I didn’t vote, so maybe you have a point.

retard confirmed Yes use the most hyperbolic example possible. Not having a roof over your head will literally rape your health. I’m sure healthcare is going to do you a lot of good when you freeze to death or get some ancient disease from being unable to bathe or get a good night of sleep. What a fucking brainlet.

funds can instantly be diverted from war to free college increased government subsidies won’t cause college tuition to continue to rise at an alarming rate poorly made arguments are simply “rhetorical questions” everyone having access to higher education regardless of ability won’t make college completely watered down and degrees completely worthless graduate school won’t become the new “college”, and this cycle won’t continue You really need to consider growing up.

Because colleges start spending more on facilities to attempt to compete for all those students who can now attend college due to sub-prime student loans offered to people with no questions asked. Did you people learn nothing from the housing crash?

healthcare is more important that housing Are you literally retarded?

Because people have to get paid genius. Edit: I don’t really care, but am genuinely confused as to why I’m being downvoted. Nothing is free and everything the government does is generally a bloated, inefficient money black-hole.

So basically you have zero understanding of how a functional economy actually works. Well done.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
