Well, if she does not have the money then she should be expected to make it. It's sad because the system isn't perfect, people are not perfect. Best things we can do are minimize these issues through using protection and avoiding person's that we feel could put us in these troubling situations.

I know of a number of women that have used fake rings as well. It sort of saves them from flirtation because it works as a barrier. It's a good idea. But like you said, unfortunate it's needing to be used at all. I mean one can try being open about it and their feelings towards the flirtation, but even then I can imagine people raising an eyebrow towards that. Maybe turning it into a "playing hard to get" stuff.

It's not a story you commonly hear. Yeah, there is the stereotype that men can't be sexually assalted/taken advantage of. If a women was in your situation that would raise a lot of anger and attention. Because what happened, yeah that's shit. Sexual harassment i guess can be vague because many things depending context can be considered sexual harassment. If you're ost things can be construed as sexual.
