that's okay but you cannot deny what's happening. All of the book spaces are dominantly female. I don't read fiction so I don't care but whenever I try to find something or just go through what's trending and what are people reading on goodreads(or any other such places) It's mostly women. Look at ate goodreads picks, very few male writers. (I'm taking goodreads example because It is mostly user voted.) so, when a new readers tries to find something they're bombarded with such crap.
