I can confirm this is true. I am a bat.

I’m curious how you don’t see four as conflicting with all your other criteria. You want an attractive, pleasant, honest women at her best but don’t want other people to be attracted to that? That’s seems unattainable to me and something out of her control because it’s based on the actions of others. Or am I misinterpreting it and you mean someone who’s taking a more active role in trying to attract others?

This is such a two dimensional view of female sexuality that the only response it deserves is this one.

It is - but it’s really varied. Employers don’t have to offer any, the ACA market has to offer it but not everyone offers multiple options, some offer it but methods like the IUD cost a ridiculous amount up front, Medicare has some coverage. The health insurance system is complicated in many ways so it’s hard to give you a definitive answer on exactly who covers exactly what. Thankfully, birth control is moving towards being a OTC option in some places.

You’re right - there’s layers to it that don’t directly relate to sexuality, but sex in general. There’s a some BIG gaps in women’s reproductive health care compared to men, but you were addressing sexuality directly so I tried not to expand beyond that scope.

I don’t understand why you think male sexuality is repressed - because you get bad dating advice from people? Viagra is easily covered by health insurance and birth control isn’t. There’s a huge pornography industry catering almost solely to men. In Hollywood it’s only beginning to become normal to see women in film and television who aren’t empty characters just there for blatant sex appeal to a man. Strip clubs for men completely outnumber those for women and are totally acceptable. Women in s…

I don’t get your third statement. Why would someone with no relationship experience be a good long term partner?

I like cheaters on a strictly temporary basis. They are not LTR material and I am not their therapist. Men are responsible for their own self improvement just like I am.

Woman to men: Show me that you’re fun on a date. I get that a lot of people want to do coffee or drinks as a first date because it’s cheap and efficient in case it doesn’t work out but it doesn’t give you an opportunity to show me that you can be fun. I had a fair amount of first dates that didn’t turn into second dates just because it was super boring and most of the time I’m going to be bored in advance before you ever have the chance to meet me. There’s nothing exciting or fun about going to …

I don’t know. I think it depends on how he talks to you about it and what he’s done since then. I got married when I was super young. I was going through some mental health issues I wasn’t aware of at the time and the problems we had were compounded by the stress of a military life. I didn’t know how to be a good companion and neither did he. I had an affair in the later stages. I regret it. No matter what HE did I was still responsible for my actions. I’m in a great relationship now, and that’s…

Nah. She did and his response was fine. You’re just stubbornly obtuse.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
