I have what I've finally narrowed down to a weird fear of public humiliation. Like, I'll try to open with a random girl at school lets say, and she will go around telling people that I am some sort of creeper. It happened at a place I worked once (I didn't even have to hit on anybody that time) but that is because the general manager liked to play people against each other and told all of the other associates that I was a creeper or some shit. Those were some hard years.

Because I didn't realize it had two meanings until two days later lol!

I hate small talk, because for me at least it's very rarely productive. It just fills time and doesn't change people's perceptions or make them feel anything. Conversely, I am only really good at talking about things that are really interesting to me; mostly very technical stuff that most people don't care about. The way I've set about to solving that is by getting the other person to do all the hard work. Just ask questions; not like an interview, but things you're genuinely interested in. For …

In my experience, sites and apps like Tinder have a specific subset of people who will do wonderfully, while the majority of folks have really, really mixed luck. In two years, OK cupid has yielded me 48 pageviews (including several dozen from an early /r/OkCupid page critique) and two conversations, both of which were terrible and one almost borderline stalked me for a while. Tinder yielded one message in one year, which ended promptly when she assumed the worst of two meanings to a sentence. I…

For the same reason that guys have approach anxiety. I can't tell you how attractive I am to a specific woman, nor can she tell how attractive she is to you. Also, are you willing to settle for whatever comes your way? Because I can tell you from experience, very rarely is it what you're looking for.

I'm not sure if you can say that it implies that women have zero burden in interactions, because it would seem to me that on this forum and that alike we are talking about quality women. Not just any woman, but one that exudes the same kind of qualities that we are looking to build in ourselves. This would place the burden of proof on her shoulders to prove to you that she is worth your time, as well as on your's to prove that you are worthy of her time. And again as with this forum it would see…

IDK if I'd say he has better game than OP by his description, but I do agree with you that beta != bigger man.

Just like there are asexual men and people who don't drink plain water, as bad as that can be for them, although human's are technically made the same way, they are not like machines. I think it comes down to where OP goes to pick up women. I wouldn't go to a club expecting to pick up a woman who's favorite topic is chemical engineering or aerospace just as much as they wouldn't expect to find me there. Is there a chance I'll find a woman like that, sure there is, just as I have been to a night …

I'd say some simple math would suffice... There were ~7 Billion people estimated on Earth as of the end of 2012. Assuming OP is heterosexual, reduce that to 3.5 Billion. Without further information, it's hard to get more specific than that, but lets take me for example. In the city I live in there are 4.3 million people. Again split that in half and that makes 2.15 million potential matches. Restrict that to people likely in my age group (between 20 and 26 is about the range I'm looking for pote…

I can't exactly entirely agree with you, although I am by no means a guru on relationships. I'm 22, and although I can't say that my main hobby is video games, that is my main recreation which I partake in maybe an hour or two per night after work. I can also say that I've known quiet a few women who were both quite attractive physically and mentally who enjoy video games more than I do! I've also dated two women now who were completely frustrated with my lack of movie knowledge (because I almos…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
