Results are never certain, but there is value in fighting for what you believe regardless. Who else is going to live by your values if not you? It's kind of odd since it's still usually the conservatives which actively push for policy that causes more tangible harm for men. Things like conscription, harsher criminal sentencing, reduction of social services, mothers being the primary caretakers etc. The left has huge issues with messaging and recognizing that men do face discrimination on the basis of their gender, but they still cause significantly less harm in actual policy.

I can think of no area at all where Finland would be more progressive than Sweden or Norway. We are just more conservative overall, unfortunately. Usually following what the rest of the Nordics are doing but 10-20 years behind them. We do make good video games, though. 😂

Well Norway is the richest, but other than that they all have equal conscription laws, have good accessible healthcare, a prison system more intent on rehabilitation than than punishment (some sentencing gap still exists but it's smaller), about the average suicide gap and average education gap.
