going to therapy ... Honestly interested and curious, how does this actually work? Did you go to a therapist only because you wanted to "explore your inner self"? What was your motivation?

Check out http://www.reddit.com/r/howtonotgiveafuck/. One of the best advices I got from there is to create a daily reminder in your calendar (for 30 days or so) telling you to "Not give a fuck". This sounds pretty stupid but helped me more than anything else before, to not give a fuck about certain things. edit: typo

This sums up the experiences I've made for 1 1/2 years. Getting into the "becoming a better man"-behaviour/mindset really pushed me along a path that definitely feels better to follow than any other path I walked so far. Before you start this journey, be aware that there is no end to it. It's a lifestyle.
