You’d never approach a guy despite wanting him? That blows my mind, you are sure to miss out on many great men then I suppose. Unless the only thing you want is to be approached and pursued, which isn’t unheard of, but once that wears off at the beginning do you still expect to be the only one actively being pursued for the remainder of the relationship?

Does he take hormones? I’ve heard some trans men say they experience a lot of new feelings of aggression, I’ve even heard a similar story about someone experiencing misogynistic feelings, but they went away when he discontinued the testosterone. It doesn’t excuse someone being an asshole. But it can be very difficult to deal with completely new feelings intensified by hormones, but people that experience this need to learn to deal with them in a different way.

I don’t even understand what he means by “mandatory paternity test” lol people who don’t need one don’t have to get one (aka pay for one), but it’s not like you don’t get a paternity test if you ask for it… isn’t that basically “mandatory?”

It’s probably one of the most revealing questions you can ask when you are just getting to know someone, regardless of if it’s romantic. If someone is a social worker, you know they probably like to help people. If someone is a professor, they probably prefer intelligent conversation. If someone is a CEO at a big company, you may expect they work long hours. If someone is a bartender, they probably have good social skills and usually work in evenings. I’m not on dating apps so I don’t know what …

I think a lot of times people see lack of sex as a punishment; and not just a consequence of being in a weird spot in your relationship, or even just going through a season of low libido. I don’t think I’d be able to withhold sex if I desired it, at least not while sharing a bed with my partner. But I also don’t have a problem having sex if we have other issues going on, for me they aren’t super connected but I know they are for lots of women.

My observation on this sub is that men often share a single experience and talk about how it shaped their view on women. Whereas women are largely talking about the weird outer layers of men.

Unassertive as in not standing up when you see someone wronged, yes. But I would lose interest in any friend who did that consistently. Unassertive as in not forceful in demeanor, no.

Wow, sounds like this person has had lots of healthy relationships with women, we should all listen to their expertise.

I feel really vulnerable during sex and I don’t like to be vulnerable with strangers. I also feel like the best sex is due to the best communication and that’s difficult with strangers as well. Also I don’t want to be tricked. So many people can so easily pretend to be someone else for just a night and they could really be someone truly horrible who pokes a hole in the condom or secretly films us.

This is one of the weirdest comment threads. OP asks if this actually happens, men here are sharing their experiences of it happening, and every response from OP is just calling them a liar 🫠

I think it must be self selection that gives me an incomplete picture because I don’t know women who hate all men. I assume that if I were to begin building a friendship with someone who is a misandrist then we will probably not click early on and therefore my perspective is limited. I definitely do see these women on the internet though, in full force, celebrities too. I also have a skewed perspective because I’m a special advocate for abused and neglected kids and so the men I work with are di…

Right? Single women are all voluntarily single because they don’t want the random dicks in their dms, regardless of who it is attached to and what type of character a person who sends “non consensual intimate photos” to strangers online has. I suppose all men are voluntarily single as well, since there are some women out there as well who would date literally anyone.

Sort of, but I would say it’s more the desire than eagerness. Like, my partner’s desire in sex is to get me off and then himself. Some people display eagerness when they aren’t truly enthusiastic about it.

Too many factors in individual encounters to really say, but I have the best sex when I am comfortable and feel like we are communicating well. I’ve been with my partner for 17 years and the best sex I’ve ever had in my life was last week. It just gets better and better.

There has been no correlation between size and pleasure in my experiences. If I am buying a toy, sure I will go for size. But I’d never pick a toy over sex.

When I just looked it up, ifs completely legal. You just can’t use at home dna tests to legally change paternity.

Paternity tests aren’t available in Europe?

I mean, if this post is about making paternity tests widely available in the third world, then sure, they should be. That’s not really what’s being debated here.

Saying there’s “a study” without a source that shows bonding is more difficult the more partners you have is an extremely different statement from: “Any woman here who has participated in the hookup culture or done ONS' can never really love any partner fully. Too many broken pieces unfortunately.”

In Michigan, where I live, if a father contests paternity and proves he’s not the biological father he is automatically absolved of any legal responsibilities toward the child. I’m not sure which laws would require someone to contest paternity within any specific time windows. The one thing I think is interesting though- if two people are married and the husband isn’t the biological father, he automatically gets all legal rights over the biological father. The non-biological husband can decide w…

I’m new to Reddit, and this sub was suggested to me. I am also semi interested in gender politics, but after joining Reddit… I am very concerned about the things I see posted in some of these groups.

I find I see this kind of mentality more so with religious folks- lots of women on social media giving advice on how to keep up with yourself so as to satisfy and keep your man. It probably used to be a more widespread mentality in previous generations, but is less and less socially acceptable IMO

People who have had one night stands in the past can’t truly love their current partner? Can you explain?

I’ve been married for 15 years, and I can truly say I love him more as time goes on. I still think of him when I hear sappy love songs and the sex just keeps getting better. We were so young when we got together, it could have easily not worked out as we grew up. But we ended up growing together in the same direction, and I’m so thankful.

A mother doesn’t love her child because of “duty” fml. “Duty” doesn’t prevent people from being evil, being good people prevents people from being evil.

Your idea of a satisfying sex life is tricking people into sleeping with you?
/r/PurplePillDebate10/02/22 01:33 AM

You said you would resort to immoral behavior to get laid. No person with a satisfying sex life would do that, unless they are a sexual predator.

If you are asking for advice to trick women into sleeping with you- you aren’t having sex. Also you yourself said it was 11 months.

You have some seriously fucked up ideas on how to convince women to sleep with you. No wonder you’re out here posting on Reddit that you can’t get laid even when you lie and use gross tactics.

I don’t have a problem with him trying to “get it.” It’s just admitting you don’t care about being moral or lying to women while doing so is super sketch.

That is so cringe, my man. That’s the same logic people use to justify violation of consent.

You said you don’t care about whether your methods are immoral. Good guys don’t say that. I truly hope you don’t ever succeed in tricking anyone into sleeping with you.

Dude, you sound like a sex offender. Are you listening to yourself?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 06:41 PM

I think if you’ve been dating around for 11 months and aren’t getting anywhere, you should reevaluate your methods. No one wants to sleep with someone who is tricking them.

You aren’t entitled to sex. Tricking women into sex is disgusting, it is not a normal thing to do.

Same. And this person makes “friendzone” out to be an insult or something, when really they mean “can you be friends with an attractive person”.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/02/22 06:16 PM

This is fucked up. If a woman doesn’t want casual sex with you; no, you shouldn’t spend your time thinking of ways to manipulate her into it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
