1	Is trauma offputting? Oh! I like that frame of mind. But I also don’t think the reality is victim vs hero mindset 24/7. Some days OP could be something in the middle. Maybe one day a hero and one day a victim. It’s hard to feel like a hero - if these men just get nervous when you bring up something heavy. 3	Is trauma offputting? this is a nice thought but in my opinion unrealistic - I agree trauma is off putting to a degree but you can’t just will your body out of trauma like that. Especially not one where someone completely shattered your sense of self control. Even if you can mentally move on your body/nervous system might still experience ptsd that you can’t just “control” - It can take YEARS for that to go away.
