I find your comment disappointing. I also don't think you understand the article as well.

You cant and still be honest with yourself. In what way can an MRA honestly pass as a feminist? I don't think the 2 are compatible. Fuck it. I think you are just trolling. Looking at your post history, it seems you are here trying to troll and get people angry. I'm done with this.

Isn't MRA a reaction to feminism though? What I am saying is that you cant be Christian while denying god exist. Why should someone give them self a false label of a group where they reject the core principle?

You can't do that and maintain honesty. How is MRA even remotely considered feminist when they reject patriarchy theory? Who cares what people think based off a label. If they won't listen to facts, then fuck em, they aren't reachable anyways. It's like becoming a member of a church to convert people to Satanism, you have to do serious mental gymnastics to justify the label. To me, it is too close to being intellectually dishonest with people. This movement isn't worth shit if it needs to lie to…

I already lined out why you should label yourself something other than you are. So we should misrepresent ourselves in the interest of what exactly? Why should we take a dishonest approach to gaining equality? I think it will hurt the movement and do nothing but bad things. We need to keep on the course we are on, one of shunning dishonesty and supporting truth. What you suggest runs counter to that.

I would like to know as well. The same thoughts crossed my mind as I read that thread.

I find it odd that someone afraid for their life would come all that way to confront you. It's a shame the judge wouldn't even believe the evidence.

The thing with Jessica Lynch had nothing to do with gender. It had everything to do with their leadership not doing what they should have done. They got lost because their training wasn't up to par, leading to an ambush. Their weapons jammed, because the M-16 is not known for doing well in dirty environments. Their leadership failed to instill into them the importance of cleaning your weapons. Coming from someone that served in the Army with females, and after the Jessica Lynch incident (thereby…

What I have had to deal with isn't too bad, but still enough to know something is wrong. I'm not a physically strong guy, being quite skinny at 6ft. I'm generally shy and don't have a hostile look about me. -I've had a few women I've dated asked if they were ok or if they needed help if I was meeting them somewhere. -I was in a DV situation where I pushed my sister, who was hitting me and who my friend could not get her off of me. I pushed her so that I could open the door. Even then, all the at…

“I don’t remember going up the stairs. I could’ve been crawling for all I know,” she said. “I think it’s ridiculous that when I say I can’t remember and he says this is what happened, his word automatically counts as a preponderance of evidence.” Isn't it odd that she thinks his word isn't evidence, but hers is? In most cases, it would have been the other way around, with her word being all the proof needed.

Why do most people assume every victim wants it because they would have? I wonder how they would feel if someone the were repulsed by were forced on them.

Having served in 2 branches, I would agree. It's not just the married part, but a lot of other things that are hard to describe, or even notice at first. The military will change you, and you can't know until too late if that change is for the better or worse. It either ruins you or only slightly hinder you.

The movie is vaguely related to a dream someone had after reading the book years prior. A movie based on the book would be awesome.

Do you not understand HR is there for the companies best interest? It is always easier to replace one person. You have to choose your battles. Not everyone is in a position or willing to lose a job because they are offended about something.

I'm referring to when you have serious doubts about being able to trust. For me, it's when I feel I have to verify almost everything that I consider the relationship not worth it.

My intent was not to be condescending. I'm sorry if I came across that way. I just got out of a relationship kind of like that last week. I'm not the kind to just throw people to the curb either, but you can't take responsibility for trying to fix other people. I also though about recording as well, but realized that if I didn't trust her that much, I don't need to be with her. Best thing you can do ,IMO, is tend to yourself and forget about her. My recent ex was similar to her from what you sai…

If you have such little trust in someone that you feel the need to record them, it is long past time to cut ties.

So its his fault she made herself unstable by attacking him when he happened to hit? You can also tell he wasn't trying to hit hard, looked more like a hit to keep someone away. Yes, being is regular clothes is very much the same as being dressed up in full pads and being tackled. Though I don't watch too much football, where is all the loved ones trying to hit you in the face take place? Is that the half time show or maybe an extra point?

He acted passively for the most part. His aggressive actions were limited, unlike hers, which seemed aggressive all through out. How can you put more blame on him, when he wasn't the aggressor? If she were a guy of the same size, I bet your opinion would be wildly different.

It's so easy to judge from the comfort of your computer chair. You can rationalize all you want how the poor, drunk, skinny woman wasn't any real threat all you want, but doesn't change how things happened. If he was angry, his posture and motions don't reflect that. He was backing away and trying to have space. That's totally counter to any angry behavior I have seen. If he was angry, why not hit her harder, or maybe kick her when she was down? Oh, maybe leave her ass there and not carry her aw…

How do you know? Are you him? Can you accurately tell peoples emotions? I can't, but his actions, to me, seems to indicate he was afraid of being hurt, and did what he could to get the situation to stop. How are you so sure she didn't pose the slightest danger to him? It doesn't take much strength to break a nose or gouge an eye.

I'm guessing you have never been trained in self defense let alone been in a situation where you had to defend yourself. Rational though is gone in those moments, you react on instinct. That's why there is so much training for people that are put in those situations often, be condition them to react properly without having to think, because you cant. You see so much pardoning of violence? I agree, a lot on her side, because he is a strong man that can take it /s I have seen how well adjusted mem…

You mean the minimum amount needed to protect yourself. Her injuries were minimal as well, considering he could have done a lot more, if he were trying to hurt her. The fact that he stopped after there was no more threat, and helped her out, tells me he was more in self defense mode than abuser mode. Seems he followed the rules for self defence fairly well IMO. Anyone that has been in a self defense situation knows that force applied ends up being more than intended because of fear, and the only…

or that was the only option he saw at the moment in that situation. Expecting people to react rationally in a fight or flight situation is daft.

Unless you are a girl, then you learn early on that hitting boys isn't bad and you can get away with it because youre female.

No, that's why feminist aren't taken seriously. Look at almost any electronic device, and you will see clear examples of how they start out big, and become smaller with time. That's what is happening here. Instead, feminist want to make out some injustice that doesn't exist.

And sadly, they have to bend to her will and fit into her schedule. If it was a guy, people would ask why he doesnt make time for dating.
/r/MensRights15/09/14 05:25 AM

I'm betting the fact she has little time and seems to prioritize dating very low as being a major factor. Add in that she seems entitled and acts like the other person need make all the sacrifice, simply to earn a chance that she will make time for a lowly peasant, seems to be the final straw. Who would want to date someone like this, male or female? I would tell her that maybe she's too busy to date, and has too high standards. High standards are fine, but don't complain about it when you can't…

I like how it ends as well. If educators are determined to get more men into classrooms, Professor Williams said, the best way would simply be to upgrade the conditions and pay of the job. “And that,” she said, “would positively impact the job for women as well.”

Seems to me, the only reason quotas were mentioned is because, from what I gathered, quotas were instituted for elections. I agree though, quotas are bad.

So treat her differently simply because shes a female? Why would you be mad at your daughters rapist, but not your sons? I hope you don't have kids if that's how casually you'd treat your son being raped.

It is in most states. Age of consent has nothing to do with it really, more to do with a person of power and trust abusing that to have sex with someone.

I was thinking the same thing. Everyone has to adjust and adapt to any workplace culture. Why should women expect the workplace to adapt to them?

You are delusional if you think the U.S. military can't be stopped because it has better tech, you are blind to history. Tech won't break the spirits of people fighting in their own back yard for their own freedom. The military can't say the same, because it is made of those same people. In my time in the military, I never met anyone that would side with the government over their own families.
