I read the post 2 hours after upload so I didn't see that, only parts of the post live by then did not make that distinction. Also at this point we are moving into an argument concerning if or by how much the punishment deters an action, which most criminology modern theories are heatedly debating. Mostly down the US/Asia and EU schools of thought. Really? Peeing in public or just outside and there is a world of difference. I'll gold you if you can find a case that the latter was punished. Edit: Also we already have defamation lawsuits as deterents.

And then what when the women whom was raped doesn't press charges out of fear and loosing the court case and herself 'becomming the sex offender'? The rate of mistrials within the US is 6 percent, and then one self would end up on the list? Look at the trials of Cosby, O'reilly, Weinstein or Jeffrey Epstein, they did commit rape but it took years and several accusers before anything was done.
