She is a piece of shit but no need to make fun of her appearance IMO.

Why would I feel attacked by a guy telling me not to murder my wife and children? I'm literally not murdering my wife and children so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I don't understand why it's a problem - genuinely. Here's a question: why are you feeling attacked?

I am literally trying to respond but I've been silenced by all the downvotes and my replies aren't allowed to come through. I'm getting "you are doing that too much. try again in 9 minutes" between comments. Not ideal.

You're telling me I'm sexist and to get out while presuming to talk on behalf of all men, which by definition includes me - a man. You don't speak for me when you say this though. Toxic masculinity and violence is a big issue. Just because I don't consciously perpetuate it doesn't mean I can't call it out - or that this guy is somehow personally attacking me just because I happen to be a man, y'know?

Think that's a bit too specific. A better example would be "Dear all Redditors, stop being angry". I wouldn't take it personally because it doesn't seem to apply to me, even though I'm a Redditor. It would, however, make me think "Hmm, I wonder why he perceives that Redditors are angry people". So maybe it's a good thing?

Great - me neither. This post isn't about us then, clearly. I think we can all agree though that there is a problem with male violence. It seems quite a few people here are offended because they aren't personally violent, in which case, don't worry about it? I don't get why people are getting so offended and seeing this as "hatred towards men" or the fact that it's even posted here as a mens rights issue in the first place. Can anyone enlighten me?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
