How TRP nearly made a rapist. My experience following The Red PillThe apology was more than necessary - from the sound of it, from the other perspective, the encounter was sexual assault. I am so glad the wake-up call worked though and that OP is improving their understandings. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:57 AM
How TRP nearly made a rapist. My experience following The Red PillPre-existing relationship makes some sense, but your partner should still be able to give full, competent, obvious and enthusiastic consent every time you both have sex, however long the LTR is. Sleeping with someone who won't be able to remember consenting is still a bad idea. I've been married 10 years this July. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:55 AM
How TRP nearly made a rapist. My experience following The Red PillIt's true everywhere, but the shapes in which you find it differ by region. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:53 AM
Breakup led to redpill - but having second thoughtsBasically, there's an inkling of truth in every human ideology, but not all ideologies are good. TRP suffers from the fact that even when reasonable, thought-provoking issues are posted, the majority userbase is aligned towards serious misogyny and intent to maintain personal power at the expense of the women involved in said debate. I've seen some descend into treating women as animals in a lab test. The community is set up to disregard the feelings, intelligences, and often even personhood of … | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:42 AM
Breakup led to redpill - but having second thoughtsComplement? If so, somewhat. People are meant to complement one another - has to be bidirectional. | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:37 AM
Breakup led to redpill - but having second thoughtsThe first thing you need to realise is that your lack of emotional inexperience is not your fault. It's the result of societal norms in which men simply aren't raised to consider their emotional health, or to discuss and share their emotions with anyone else. Families are still all-too-often oppressive and difficult to source help from and there isn't any other default support mechanism in play - you have to create one. What's brilliant is that you've already done so by coming to a more acceptin… | /r/ExRedPill | 18/05/18 11:35 AM
Women honor strong frame.I've seen it work the other way around too, since you ask. It's just a different type of silliness. Rather than sniping and viciousness you get aggressiveness contests and hyperinsistence on minute differences in status. Sabotage happens in both cases. And I've seen a female boss or co-worker make a world of difference by stepping in - either firmly, like your example, or calmly, to offset all the pent aggression. It's good to have both. | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 11:22 AM
Women honor strong frame.I've noticed the same effect in reverse, though. A group of businessmen can easily dissolve into a mass squabble-fest where everyone's pride is getting in the way of everyone else's, until a woman steps in to break it up and force the conversation back onto the rails so they can actually get something done. Basically the best situation is when people willingly work together unsegregated. Single-gender groups don't do as well - they're missing a perspective. | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 11:16 AM
Performed A Small Social ExperimentOvert stuff like this comment makes the covert stuff more obvious in retrospect. | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 11:12 AM
Performed A Small Social ExperimentExactly. Painting your face is different from keeping yourself trim or hygienic. It's the female equivalent of wearing good, clean, stylish, ironed clothes, aftershave and cologne, etc. Except women have to do all of the rest of this as well, plus have to wear support garments under most of their nicer clothes. And doing makeup takes an age. So the situation being equal would require the guy to keep the stubble and hairstyle combo the woman likes best even if it literally took him up to an hour … | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 11:05 AM
Performed A Small Social ExperimentShe doesn't have to "know" that, it's his business how attracted he still feels, but they can talk about it if it becomes a serious problem. Usually by this point in a good relationship people should be attracted to personality too. Otherwise, yes, definitely. Her choice to wear, his choice to like. (Though obviously it's gonna hurt if someone tells you that you're not pretty without facepaint.) | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 10:59 AM
Performed A Small Social ExperimentEh, "slob" implies a general disdain for yourself, including personal hygiene like having washed clothes and a body that doesn't reek, which is completely understandable as a turn-off for anyone of any gender. Also a disdain for your home, leaving garbage around, not cleaning up. Not putting additional layers of paint on before going out isn't the same as not washing your body or making a shared home a pigsty. Personally I think it's reasonable for both partners to make a little more effort at t… | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 10:57 AM
Performed A Small Social ExperimentI wouldn't bother continuing. Have a look at the responses you're getting - this is the mainstream face of the community. Some of the issues being brought up here are worthy of attention and in fact would do well outside of this reddit, but, en masse, the intentions of posters are alpha-heteronormative awfulness. | /r/TheRedPill | 18/05/18 10:51 AM
