Yes, it can. Because of my work and family schedule, it was two shorter workouts a day - about 35-40 minutes each. But it did wear me down. I was only able to do it about 3 months and then I had to back it down to one per day. I've definitely had to do a lot of adjusting of my workout plan and diet over the past 2-3 years because of mistakes I made or things that didn't work for me. But then again, I did make a lot of progress in those 3 months of the double workouts.

I had your typical symptoms: low energy, mild depression, packed on body fat that was hard to lose, low muscle mass, no sex drive. Wasn't interested in my wife at all. I had just turned 40 but have the testosterone level of a 70-80 year old man. I started TRT nearly 3 years ago, and it was like being reborn. Sex drive came back with a vengeance, but I had created the low-sex marriage. My wife didn't have that switch to bring back so she was lagging behind. Which is what led me to MMSLP and then …

Granted MRP is amoral and not governed by our ethics and values. But with that being said, here is my standpoint: married men and women should not be alone with someone of the opposite sex (with certain exceptions). And that includes casual lunch dates. This is not mate guarding or displaying jealousy. It is basic social values, respect, and proper behavior. Nothing good will ever come from a married man or woman being alone with the other. I always thought that was just a given social norm that…

I'm struggling to find what my goal, my mission in life is. While I'm improving daily, I also feel like I'm flapping in the breeze without knowing where I want to go. I'm 43 years old, discovered MMSLP over two years, and have two kids 7 and under. Lately I'm thinking that my life goal should be to raise the best "red pill" boy and girl that I can. Not to make them a priority over myself, but to make my improvements for them. I appreciated your paragraph about your kids, and you made a point I r…

I spent 6 years in the Marine Reserves, and after my first Birthday Ball, we all headed to town to hit the bars. In our dress blues. In a college town. I had no idea what was about to happen. Every bar, the college girls swarmed us. Free drinks. Numbers. Rubbing all over us. I had never experienced anything like. We all hooked up with randoms. Those dress blues are magic.

I would be interested in hearing how that plays out if you would be willing to post a follow-up.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try posting over at r/fitness also. I started here because I imagine most readers are similar to me: older, married with kids, and don't have a ton of extra free time and money to dedicate to bodybuilding. I figured my demographic would have the best real-world advice. Thanks, again!

Thanks for the recommendation on the bulk shake. I haven't looked at any bulking drinks yet because I heard they typically have a lot of added sugar. Have you experienced that?

"and be able to communicate it when your wife deserves it" Could you expand on this? Communicate how? What manner?

How do you handle the situation where you ask wife for X, she has done it before, but she's not going to do it with you? I know the reason why - she's not attracted enough to you yet. But my question is how to handle those times when it happens. I get butt hurt, pissed off, insecurities boil up, etc., and I try to ignore, STFU, and just move on. But it just eats at me, and I often fuck up down the road by bringing it back up and whining about it. How do I handle those situations at the time it h…

One problem I have is that I'm not naturally alpha - I would say I'm probably naturally omega. Sometimes I go into sensory overload when trying to apply The Red Pill concepts in my life. Should I AM, AM, or STFU? Should I smirk when I respond? How much smirk? Oh shit, I just smiled now she she can tell I'm faking! Then my brain goes 100 mph and shuts down completely. So I like post like yours. It seems like you keep things simple - focus on you and let the rest fall in place naturally. The two T…

Amazing post, brother. This is the attitude I will try to instill in my kids, because I sure as hell wish I had beat that into my head when I was younger.

I really appreciate this post. Just a reminder to prepare for every event in life, never let your guard down.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
