1	Not really understanding the whole work on yourself movement. What about your personality? Are you funny? Do you have interesting hobbies? Are you passionate about your job? Are you confident in your ideals and values? I’ve picked my partners based on these traits in the past, not because of what they looked like or how much money they made. That would be boring. 3	The female sexual strategy (hypergamy) cannot be understood without reference to the male sexual strategy (polygamy). When I first met my fiancé, I wanted to sleep with him because he made me laugh and he made me feel good about myself. It had nothing do with how he looked. And yes I did sleep with him on the first date. I initiated it. We’ve been together now for 9 years. A lot of people have told him I’m “out of his league” but who cares what other people think.
