The solution is remind everyone to watch out for their drinks. We can campaign for prevention and individually take actions to root out people who spike drinks. For men its the need to get big, and their distorted perception that they are scrawny. I have an unhealthy relationship with food and it is a struggle to keep weight. I think that the resilience is partly due to the fact we don't hide unpopular opinions, so weak parts of the community's ideas have been removed in response leaving only the strong core values. At this point in time I cannot stress the amount of malfeasance that comes with attempting to associate Elliot Roger with MRA. These are supposed to be people with journalistic integrity. It leaves me wanting. So if there is to be any sort of interpretation it is already going to be negative. "lame peripheral issues like this" are small stones that make up one large fucked up mountain. If we are to solve any issue with expedience it helps for spare hands to tackle smaller problems while simultaneously converging on the Big Ones. You don't sprint in a marathon. It's just shut up and take these pills because it's easier to deal with than to hear another person talk. "No, they are perfectly fine... there may be some side effects... that we will have to counteract with more medicine. Which also may have some side effects...."
