I genuinely believe that because this is something that I remember happens all the time back when I was young. Girl throws a chair, chair is deflected back, chair hits girl and she starts playing victim.

How are video games seen as childish? Thats like saying watching TV is childish.

No, that is not proven completely incorrect. Norway doesn’t have the kind of criminals in other countries. As I’ve mentioned in a previous reply, Norway has a fraction of the population of the US—which is the country most frequently compared to Norway when speaking on prison systems, as well as a multitude of other factors not being taken into account when some schmuck says “take a look at Norway”.

No, they said most criminals can't be rehabilitated, not all. Some can, but very few.

The context of my original comment is of me believing that most people do not deserve to be forgiven so soon, not that they can’t be rehabilitated.

Keyword: “most”. Saying “most birds can fly” does not mean “all birds can fly”.

Sure, to keep their “allies” nice and obedient maybe. ?? US preventing the UN’s appeal to a ceasefire What part about that relates to prison systems? Also, the US is literally a part of the UN. They’re not separate entities.

I know that it can be hard for a dyslexic to read, but the topic of the discussion literally revolved around prison systems—of which the U.S.’s was highlighted. The comment I replied to referred to Norway as having a better prison system than the U.K and by extension, the U.S. How would I know this? Because that reply was literally replying to OP’s mention of the U.S.’s prison system in comparison to the UK’s. What are you even talking about in the second block of text? Who said anything about c…

Seeing as how neither of us are in government positions, we can’t say what would be in the best interest of the U.S. and it’s people. The US also has the highest GDP in the world.

There just isn’t a political impetus to “optimize” government spending. There certainly is. It’s just that there are people who disagree with your ideas of “optimization.”

The person claiming the U.S. has a dictatorship hold on the UN whilst providing no evidence. Or, the person constantly preaching anti-U.S. despite none of their arguments relating to the original context and despite none of it making sense.

Yes, I agree more with the sentiment of easing the spending annually and allowing their personnel to diffuse into other occupancies. However, seeing as how limited the job-space is, I highly doubt this is a realistic aspiration. I’d wager most people who enlist are doing so for the financial security that wouldn’t come to them otherwise. Also, most “other branches of government” are included in the U.S.’s military funding. I’m sure people have proposed or reasoned what you have said here, it’s j…

Said the military wasn’t just for warfare. You bring up irrelevancies about how wars were started in your anti-U.S. delirium. Sure, the US definitely does not topple elected governments and doesn’t globally bully countries with strong arm tactics and they most definitely don’t interfere negatively with the UN. no /s

30% of that funding goes to the enlisted. I wouldn’t consider that nothing—especially when you bring into account the cost of technological advancement and upkeep, national and international security, justice/prison management, etc. No war the U.S. has been in the last few decades were fought solely by the US and their opposition. Of the ongoing wars, all of them included other countries you would consider “the west”, so yes I would say the wars were against the west’s enemies. Sure, to keep the…

Again, it’s not only a bargaining chip for peacekeeping, it’s also a way to provide people with work and healthcare. Similarly, how would you expect self-sufficient countries like China to uphold the values of the UN if their military is funded by more than 3 times that of other UN council members(excluding the US)?

It’s almost like the U.S. has entirely different cultures, entirely different population counts (65x Norway’s population), entirely different governments, entirely different living conditions for middle/low income, entirely different geography, and entirely different political rivals/enemies. Almost.
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/21 03:42 AM

Maybe the U.S. needs to fund the military so they can keep their hard working soldiers alive and employed. Also, if the U.S. didn’t have the military it does, half the west’s political enemies would be rampant doing whatever they please. The military isn’t just for warfare, it’s also a bargaining chip.

How am I twisting your argument for pro-crime? I mockingly regurgitated your literal sentiment regarding prison—as previously, you’ve never stated you were “pro-life sentences for serial murderers.” You do know that the “progressive” prison systems you allude to don’t usually have life sentences right? The U.S. needs to overhaul far more important matters than their prison system. The countries with the best rates of reintegration for prisoners have way better living conditions than the U.S. for…

I don’t quite understand what your point is. You’re literally bringing up pro-rehab on a post about a serial murderer—completely unrelated to teenagers smoking pot. I also don’t see how me believing that people should be given what they deserve alludes to me saying that you advocate for crime. Where did you even bring that up from?
/r/PussyPassDenied18/05/21 02:16 AM
2

You like seeing people who commit serial murder back on the streets after a short pampering to in prison? I’m of the mindset that there are things you just can’t redeem from should your crime be done within sanity, and would prefer punishment be duly dished out. Keeping them in prison forever would also mean 0% re-incarceration. Another thing, a lot of the places referenced for having “better rehabilitation” or less re-incarceration also have better overall living conditions, lower population, s…

Every time someone talks about a country’s prison system(typically the US), some guy comes with “Norway this” or “Norway that”. Norway also has a ton of other differences including the fact that they’re a rich country with high living standards and has 1/65 the U.S.’s population. How about you guys take factors like that into account when bringing up Norway?

I was going to say, finally, an actual ppd until I read that their max sentencing was 3 years. Fr? The guy got life and the woman gets 1/30th of life?

Not denied at all. They’re all getting preferable treatment. There was a video of a Twitch representative defending this and literally frothing from the mouth saying something along the lines of “I don’t mind looking at this kind of thing.”

This is literally a TikTok where the guy films the destruction of the floor with a joke caption while his ex just happens to not be home. Also, when recording her “rage” he manages to start recording right at the perfect time and makes sure to not include her face. Who the hell says “I’m glad I cheated on you” in an argument in real life? That phrase only ever happens in fake break-ups and porn.
/r/PussyPassDenied01/10/20 05:01 PM

Now that you mention it, just the pure fact that they mention that they’ve cheated is almost a guarantee of this being fake.

/r/PussyPassDenied22/10/19 02:19 PM

I’m giving a more extreme example so it’s more obvious what I’m getting at as you clearly couldn’t understand. What the fuck you mean she wasn’t forced to do anything? If you’re drugged and unconscious and someone comes up and pummels your ass, then by your logic, since you aren’t forced to do anything, its all right?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/09/19 08:20 PM
1

Not outright saying “no” doesn’t mean you accept whatever’s happening. If you’re getting anally raped in the ass and you can’t collect yourself to outright say “no” or “stop”, then are you accepting the rape—thereby making it consensual? This is not r/technicallythetruth material. Do you even know that sub? Wtf are you on?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/09/19 08:07 PM
1

Yes, and she didn’t accept them recording her and she didn’t accept them smashing her window. What’s your point? She was clearly distressed and uncomfortable when a camera was brought out. Whatever the people recording says isn’t necessarily the truth when it’s not in the recording itself. Say a murderer killed someone. He only recorded after the fact and claims it was self defense. He says that the person he killed was attacking him before he started recording. You’d believe everything he says?
/r/PussyPassDenied07/09/19 08:01 PM
1

Really? Did the women accept them recording her? Did she accept her window being shattered? Wtf are you talking about? Somewhere in the comments, some guy translated what they were saying. It didn’t seem like the woman knew what was going on. The people recording certainly did and they specifically spun the narrative and recorded everything with the intent of posting this on the internet. At no point in the video did the woman ever aggressively ask for a refund like what was claimed by the peopl…

It’s easy to force someone into your narrative when you have the numbers and you have a guy recording.

Is there proof? All of this sounds like bullshit. Especially when the people filming the video are providing the narrative in their favor.

This feels as though the woman wasn’t really asking for a refund. It seems like the entire thing was orchestrated by the people filming to take advantage of the woman. All she said in recording was “I’m not that kind of person.”

Honestly shit like this always irritates me. There are no human beings in this world who would pay a woman less. In fact, I’d be more prone into believing that women are paid more for simply being women. Why the fuck do people even believe in the wage gap? If women are paid less, it’s because they’re worse at their jobs due to genetic physic or some other reason.
