Alright so this is clearly a more involved topic than one paragraph can lend. If it’s banal stuff, I am not usually the initiator as that just isn’t my personality; I’m not the type to litter a text with smileys and emojis and stuff. But when I do initiate it, it’s comes from a place of not neediness. Like the other day I was reminded of this spot near where this girl I’m talking to went to school. Asked her if she ever heard of it. I didn’t need attention, I was just talking. Led to a good conv…

With tinder my goal is usually to make a connection and set up a date quickly. Again, some girls want some more back and forth before meeting with a stranger, and that's fine. You bait the hook to suit the fish

Exactly. If she texts you "how was your day," first off obviously she's into you and wants to talk. So don't be a fucking robot and say "umm, well I have such high value that I don't have time for this shit, so uh, we still on for 8:30 tomorrow?" Just be a fucking person and respond and ask about her back. Gage it from there Edit: and you'll also get downvoted because girls can't give girl advice. Next time why don't we try following the rules, eh sweetheart?

I'm gonna get downvoted for this, as everyone says "stick to logistics." But it's not a one-size-fits-all scenario. Some girls are chatty over text and some aren't. I'm a good writer, so I find texting is a good way to get a few jokes in and display humor. Sometimes girls just want to get more comfortable and feel like there's an ongoing connection. You gotta feel her out. But I will say I've never blown an opportunity because I was too communicative via text. I do the right amount.

This is a great idea and a great list. I often come across little precepts like these but never write them down and they are soon forgotten. I’m going to start making a list and reading every day, starting with these, and eventually letting my own top 10 bubble to the surface.

I’m a programmer and know many programmers. They do not pull. I think it’s because the personality that makes you successful in the 21st century (some blend of techno autism) would not have worked in an evolutionary context like the more stereotypical extroverted domineering type.

Lots of Ryan Holiday in this. I recommend Jocko Willink and Jordan Peterson for further study

The thing about YOLO, is the way I interpret it is you only live once, so make the best of it and don't fuck it up by taking dumb risks. Take smart risks. Btw if the solipsism in this post gave you a bit of a head trip, read Jed McKenna's spiritual enlightenment trilogy

Our sex drive is women's advantage Exactly. We're the crack addicts and they're the dealers. It's a seller's market

Check your testosterone levels. Every man should do this, if for no other reason than to establish a baseline and observe trends.

Next year he's going to speak about how he realized he should just marry a dude

Obviously this won't work because you're not being righteous. If there was some skinny soy late sipping mother fucker that earnestly wanted to be called "master," she'd go out of her way to insist that everybody else also gets with the program and call him by his chosen name.

If only men had more testosterone these days, they might actually fight back.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
