In the US, disturbing the peace can be an arrestable offense, especially if the person has already been given orders to vacate, desist, or just to move to another area. All lawful orders, ignoring which adds second or third charges which are also arrestable. Still, most of us won't make an arrest until the person has been given multiple orders and warnings, with witnesses or body cam. Good odds that this was not the first time that day that particular woman went face to face with these officers.…

I feel you on this. As one of only two Native Americans working for my entire state agency ... and with a background of working with the LGBTQ community, I wind up volunteered onto a lot of our agency's diversity projects. But God forbid and Heaven forfend that men's rights or International men's day should ever be mentioned.

It doesn't just seem that way, it is that way. But it's getting better. There's hope. It's slow, but it's getting better. I was one of the first Fathers in my jurisdiction to receive primary physical and full legal custody of a child in a custody battle against a mother who had initiated. And she initiated dirty, with false CYS allegations, calls to my job, and attempts to turn my family against me. It was ugly. And the child in question is a daughter, and I was a single Dad with no new "mom" fi…

Third wave feminism was (part of) the reason it took 8 years for me to realize that it was not okay for my (now ex) wife to put me in the ER when she was mad, or threaten our daughter when she felt like she wasn't getting enough attention. So... fuck those people. We need more than one day to talk about the damage being done to men and boys. Those Twitter twats had me shaking when i was reading their drivel.

It was one of those movies that was so bad it was awesome. It skipped past any possible pretentiousness and went straight to Legend.

As someone who has served a lot of warrants professionally, this was an absolute shitshow. Poster is right, best thing to do is get yourself and your patrons out of the way safely and make sure to get identifying characteristics so you can file a report with actual law enforcement and sue the shit out of be bounty hunters or whatever they're proclaiming themselves as. If they use force on you, an uninvolved owner of the business in which they have entered while attempting to apprehend someone, d…

Try looking up male domestic violence shelters. There have been a few, and most of them have been shut down by protests from the National Organization for Women and similar groups.

One of the biggest reasons it doesn't get reported, is because nobody listens. I was married for 8 years and every time I tried to call a hotline or talk to family it all turned back to it being my fault. I was in the ER for a concussion and a broken arm, and the social worker came to talk to her instead of me.

It's still used almost every where in America is the gold standard. And that is something that all domestic violence counselors should be ashamed of.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
