I've always had calendar reminders for Wife, Mom, Mother in Law for birthdays, Valentine's and mother's day. Last year, I sent flowers to my brother/uncle/brother who all work in the family business (I'm a few states away) on Father's Day. Everybody in the family asked me why, and I told them that I'm 45 and have never in my life received flowers.

My parents, in the US, in the South, in the 70's, didn't circumcise me. And I thank God often.
