With regards to the first thing, while relatively common, I wouldn't say it's typical. Honestly, I believe women like that are abusive assholes with control issues, like my sister. We as a society need to recognise it as such and not allow such toxic behaviour to become normalised to the point of being "typical". I would be interested to see a study done on this, but collective experience would suggest that women doing this are few and far between. Kinda like how you get so few female serial killers. If you have any info to contrary, please do share. I don't have any stakes tbh I just like looking at data and seeing what it says

Maybe the generalising tone of the post is iffy but OOP brings up real issues. There are many men who lurk in support groups for rape and sexual assault who will target (male and female!) posters. Some guys have gone so far as to share fake stories of sexual assault to gain trust and get the person they are DMing to open up, then try blackmail them with that info.
