This premise seems to typify what I see as the biggest weakness in this sub. If men’s rights are truly what one stands for, it won’t be based around opposition to anything else. It will stand alone as an empowered sense of self worth, love and care of men, and the advocacy that naturally results from those principles. If men’s rights is tied to fighting and proving, it shows that one’s fighting and proving already are in a victim mindset, blaming outside things, and ultimately not taking respons…

Age of consent laws and underage marriage laws would qualify as written in and primarily apply with girls being married rather than boys. Nonetheless I hear your pain in the blind spot that exists around men’s pain. Both can be true.

I haven’t seen the documentary yet but wasn’t there one on the manosphere on Netflix and basically revealed how the main influencers don’t hold the values they talk about? That it’s a grift? If so it’s basically a reflection of how some people take advantage of the vulnerability of men during this time

There are two ways of looking at this sort of situation. One is as a victim, how could THEY have created this. Two is as an empowered being that takes ownership, i.e. “Damn just being a man in this world carries weight and impact because of the harm other men do, how can I be understanding of that as well as help clean up this mess.”

First off, being forced into therapy is prison rather than therapy. Second, it’s a tool, so it’s like saying hammers are useless. No, you just have to use them well. A therapist is the type of person most men could use, a solid supporter that shows up and is truthful and loving. And there are lots of therapists so you have to find one you click with, which may take a couple sessions to figure out. Also not all therapists are only talk oriented, somatic therapy, and tons of other modalities.

Not true from what I see - I know multiple women who lost custody and more from the court system and from what I understand it was tilted the other way. I think it’s more of a mix bag than it used to be.

FYI women couldn’t get credit cards on their own until 1974.

It damages everyone if it’s dogma. When it’s authentic and from the heart, it’s perfect.

Get curious about women. Be honest with yourself and with them. I have seen people who are "creepy" become attractive once they owned that part of themselves. This practice of opening to the feminine isn't just about women, it's about opening to yourself, loving yourself, and seeing that you are valuable. You own your value and love yourself (regardless of being in a relationship) and that is usually when one happens. Best of luck

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
