"if you never ask, the answer is always no" I've lived by that. What works best for me if I'm scared as hell is to stare at her for 2sec smile and wave/finger (lol) her over. I have experienced the same thing with my closest friend I asked him for advice and he literally said "IDGAF what they think. I just do me and that's it. Simple and effective: when she says something silly/cute rub her softly on her shoulder (upper bicep) and say "you're cute" or whatever fits best in the moment. I find its innocent and effective
