Male here, agree with you. I used to be way more active on this sub, but now I just read the titles of the posts and check the articles to see if they're actual problems or BS. Hate reading the comments.

I'll try to explain it with an anecdotal experience I tried, a while ago, explain to a guy that feminism itself is not necessarily bad because there needs to be a movement to improve women's rights overall, but that the women who call themselves feminists and do all this shit we all know (defending female rapists, commiting crimes and saying they should be punished less severely because they are women, etc.) are indeed a problem for everyone. He responded by saying women don't have any problems …

Yeah, I used to follow r/pussypass because no one would believe women get away with things without proof, then the sub became a petty, toxic thing. Then I followed here because a lot of the punishments are still weak and I could still show that I had reasoning behind my arguments Then a bunch of people here started being all about "anti-feminism" and I'm sure a lot of people in here just like to see women get beaten because of internalized anger. I want to see women get arrested for pedophilia a…

most feminists So not all, which is what I said I'm not saying all feminists are good, just that they are not all bad But I don't think this discussion will go anywhere at this point, I'll just keep trying to contribute my way and you will do the same your way, I just hoped we could give some more perspective to each other (and still hope it happened in some way)

Yeah, I'd much rather reason with whoever I can than hate an entire gender and give them something to use as proof they're right I talked to a lot of people about this. Some agreed with me, and many sure as hell did not. But I don't hate the ones that I could reason with just because of the ones that I couldn't When I talk to a girl who was abused in a bus with no one doing anything about it but she agrees that false accusations of rape and PussyPassing out of a crime are shitty things to do, I …

I bring it up because it is possible to achieve collaboration to deal with the rest. Getting them to support anti-PussyPass would mean a lot, especially to girls or women that are just entering the whole scenario and follow examples

They are a small number compared to the other part, yes, but then again, in every single movement there is only a small minority that is actually doing it for the cause and not themselves. If they manage to organize and do something about the other part, there might be a chance to change this whole situation. I know I'd like to see more PussyPasses being denied by other women

No, the ones that don't do that. You can't actually believe all feminists, or worse, all women hate men I have met decent feminists who just wanted to improve the overall situation and yes, even some that agreed men don't get the necessary help on problems that women do (such as sexual abuse, domestic abuse, violence, etc) They are sparse and not at all common, but they exist. The problem is that they get overshadowed by the part that does what you said

Really? Like the stuff I described from my school? Or the part about men having more expectative to succeed in a certain area and thus having more trust to be chosen to a job? But whatever, you also repeatedly ignored the part where I said that was not the point. In fact, I just said not all feminists hate men and you started debating this and then ignored what I said. Cool.

A set of things that make it artificially easier to succed. Men had a jumpstart on free employment. Also it's more expected of a man to do certain jobs. In my school the coordination actually expected the girls to grow up to be housewives and wear dresses and never skirts, so the boys had more trust to get successful jobs and had more choice. And no, it wasn't a particularly conservative or religious school, it was just the people there that pretended it was a school rule when it wasn't. They pr…

It's about how those rights are enforced. Men have many implicit advantages while women have explicit ones. Men have many advantages that comes from the past, while women have many advantages coming from people trying to apologize for that past But like I said, my point was just that there are decent women who take part in the feminist movement and don't go all crazy I'm not even defending anything aside from that idea

Like I said, roughly equal with equivalent disadvantages They get better on some parts and men get better on others My point is just that there is still a lot to improve in both sides, and the women who try to improve their side can't because of the ones who keep taking advantage, but that doesn't mean all the ones who say they want to improve are lying

The post we are commenting on shows this, but what I mean is that socially speaking (as in, individual rights applied to the society) is mostly the same, while women are getting more protection in legal areas such as child custody, sexual crimes and lawsuits and getting more in the spotlight because of the people that cause all the trouble which means that every mistake is being shown as a default process while their advantages are considered fair Men are getting "less privileged" while women ar…

I'd say that socially speaking, it's roughly equal with equivalent disadvantages, but that doesn't mean we can't improve But my point is, while there are women that genuinely just want to do that, there is a vast number of people that want to be able to use PussyPasses more easily, and those ruin it for the ones who just want to make it better, and I've met some of both types

This is going to be a little long, sorry about that First, I want to clarify I'm talking about it in a global scale, not just first world problems. There is a big difference between the problems women face in a first-world country and the ones they face in a third-world one. Overall the problems are way smaller and less present than in the past, but they still exist. The problem is that the "feminist" movement either exaggerates on the wrong thing or the pussy-passers destroy whatever chance the…

What about feminists that don't hate men? Like the ones who just want to fix the actual problems women suffer instead of taking advantage of them to force society into giving them a PussyPass? I hate PussyPassers and the so-called "femists" or "feminazi" but there are some feminists that just want to fix their situation, and those are the ones I don't hate

No, I meant as something I've seen a relatively large amount of people say. Apparently being heterosexual is already proof you're homophobic and people should accept becoming gay to "fix things" Or become gay because someone is interested in them. BUT I know that's not a big thing and is an isolated problem created by the crazy people I mentioned before. I didn't mean to make it sound like it was a huge thing, just that it happens as examples of people disregarding other people's rights like hap…

I myself would be considered "left" but even I think it's too much. There are people talking about segregation in favour of black people and supporting forced straight-to-gay conversion, and as someone that got sexually harrassed and had attempted abuse and sexual assault by females for 4 years I can say that the way we hide the existence of female abusers is a "little" bit bullshit, especially with people saying women should "have the right" to do it. This is just madness. There are many good p…

I hate it when people try to justify murder with "they were rude" I showed a picture of a guy that was stabbed and beat up by his girlfriend to a classmate that thought only men commit domestic abuse. The response I got was that he "probably deserved it". The police had already become involved twice before because she assaulted him but he decided not to press charges. That is literally how an oppressive culture begins, by justifying violence against someone and linking it with a group.

I'm left-leaning and I have spread the word about female rapists for years now. Many leftists I know are against the current trend of social "progress" and many people more see that it's just swapping the sides. It's not the left itself, it's a group of people that radicalized. Something happened to them and they were trying so hard to "fix" things that they didn't notice their efforts were being hijacked. And then they forgot what they were trying to fix in the first place and just started doin…

Yeah, I'm kind of lost in this case too, my problem with this is people defending women saying they can't rape and saying rape in general is not that bad. This is the first time I entered this sub and it's confusing. I just think people should see rape as "sober consent = not rape" and manipulated consent or lack of consent as abuse and rape. Personally I think she should be judged for having sexual activities with a minor and for giving him drugs. Am not sure about the rape part though, since w…

Are you really saying that when people say women can't rape men they're actually doing good? Women can, and DO rape. And yes, jerking off a minor is paedophilia. There is a legal margin in the age of consent so 17 year-old minors are not really paedophilia, but jerking off a 14 year-old is. And yes, she should be in trial for rape for drugging him before sexual activitiy, even if it wasn't full-on sex. Don't tell me I "think" it happened. I remember very well the use of force. Consent is objecti…

Even if he was above the age of consent, the fact she drugged him as a means to have sex with him is rape

If she doesn't want to be fingered it's pretty easy to assume it would be wrong to finger her. It's a sexual act without consent. The point of rape laws is that rape takes away people's dignity and choice. Having someone using your body in any way without your consent is a disgusting and disturbing thing, and people subject to that are exposed to a feeling of invasion and sensations that their choices don't matter, and thus their consciousness and by extension themselves don't matter as well. It…

Women actually rape men a lot. And the people saying shit like "it isn't rape" are the ones responsible for no one hearing about it. Also, jerking off a minor is still paedophilia, and using drugs to "seduce" someone is actually rape, since it deprives them from their usual decision-making capacities. It doesn't matter if it's common for minors to want a lot of sex, because we won't know what he individually would have said in that situation since she took that capacity away. That's why she shou…

I'm so fucking done with this. I've seen so much shit going on, regarding women actually assaulting men, and no one cares, because a woman doing it is "empowering" and "showing she knows how to get what she wants", and if a guy simply insists (in a non forcible way) it's fucked up and he's a rapist. This is bullshit. And then people say stuff like "men don't get raped" or "women suffer much more" (as if that changed the fact it's wrong) without realizing that men are just forced to stay quiet be…
