if he is unable to retract his foreskin, there definitely seems to be something wrong. there are many ways to solve that problem, that don't require circumcision. those doctors don't seem like they know very much about what they're doing tho maybe you should check if a small cut into the frenulum (the little band that holds the foreskin on the glans) would solve the problem.

yeah, but whenever someone living in the western world "argues" in favor of genitalia mutilation, you can bet it's an USAmerican. the percentage difference because of them being more present than other countries on this site doesn't grab hold here anymore, because it's so out of proportion. you simply won't be able to find a handful of westerners who aren't from the US who are in favor of it.

due to enormous pressure exactly, it wasn't objective and rational thinking that caused this, but religious-conservative populism. there are also a lot of people here who advocate for even lower age of consent laws, you just don't hear about them as often because it's something very unpopular to talk about for people. i can assure you that the european average won't go above 15, and will most likely move closer to 14 years.

don't worry, here in europe we're doing fine. our teens aren't on the verge of suicide, planning to do a school shooting, or set their dream job to prostitute (even though nothing would be wrong with that). i have no idea what people who advocate for (high) age of consent laws imagine society to be like when teens are allowed to have sex, but i have yet to discover anything negative about it.
