Thanks. Very true, indeed. The only thing I'll add is that people in corporate America would say, "Joe's married/divorced." And then they would, in their mind, think of Joe as traditional, dedicated because he's willing to be tied down to a commitment long term, and Joe can handle stressful situations. If you've been married, you know that these situations can be the most stressful situations a person can have in their entire lifetime. All while sharing a brother-in-the-trenches unspoken bond. I…

I'm not gonna whole heartedly defend mosquitos because they definitely do suck. Get it? Lol ... Ok, I'll stop. I literally had to Google just now what good mosquitos even are. They help at the bottom of many good chains and ecosystems, pollinate flowers, and as larvae they clean up waste. Unfortunately, the females need blood to get proteins for reproduction purposes. And, their brains aren't smart enough to stay away from humans. They just want some blood. Ok, I'll stop with the National Geogra…

I've seen this type of post on Facebook a few times. Rare among my "friends", so this is just anecdotal evidence. Not in video format... yet, but written. I don't use Facebook as much anymore, so maybe I missed a few recent posts, and some of those could have been video. Anyways. To those saying that laughing as a reaction isn't the way, it all depends on the individual person's defense mechanism(s). Some said they laughed. Some said they cried. Some said horrible things about the dad. But, it a…

I guess politics work this way as well. Even though he still had to have a woman on his arm to get to that position, good for him and good for you. I hope you have continued good outcomes wherever you are in this world.

Truly, the only advantage of marriage in a tangible form is the breaking of the "glass ceiling" when climbing the conservative (not politics, but an established easily named company) corporate ladder. There comes a point, professionally, where if you haven't been married yet, you can't join the "big boys club" and make tons of more money. Prior divorce will break this glass ceiling, though. Unless you're the entrepreneur that started the company. And, in that case, you decide where the glass cei…

I don't know what your future path is. You'll find out for yourself. Keep us posted on it from time to time. I've learned marriage isn't for me as well. But, you've got a new type of life. You'll get used to it, and eventually love it. Trust me, if you haven't already. It's a process and a journey, but you'll see you can break almost any barrier in life. Keep your head above water, brother.

I've gone through this myself. 2 divorces, but no kids (luckily, because I sure tired to have some). The optimistic side of me is dead and gone. I'm now a realist with a few new quirks (aka defense mechanisms). Most of my life values I had as a kid were shattered, and it's is a soul crushing experience. I definitely am a Phoenix after putting in the work to better myself. OP, I know your pain. Stay strong. There is a new and different life. And you'll grow and enjoy it. Time doesn't heal all wou…

In #9, I've found there is a difference between a woman who says she's crazy vs. a woman who says she's sane. Neither do you want, but the crazy one at least has half a fighting chance to make it past that point of the conversation. Not too much further, but further nonetheless.

Oh, I know. It's been said in many forms, but word for word like that, by Jim... somebody(?). Anyways, I was ultimately just saying that you've got a talent for writing. And, if you have authored any books, I need to check them out.

I should've said, "What books have you written?" But if you're one of the authors to this Google result, good. I'm about to start reading them.

Guys care the same about a woman's success as the shape of clouds. And then there's Ben. Totally holding up her dreams. And then she speaks to the manager of a dating app over him. You can't make this stuff up.

I'm a Black man and no deeper "Nope" has ever come from my soul (or maybe that's my stomach gurgling, trying to throw up in my mouth). I wouldn't touch that even if I'd just downed 10 Tequila shots with the worm and she was giving it away in a Tijuana massage parlor for free. Don't ask me how I know this.

When in doubt, trust the history of actions. They're the more reliable. If she says 1 thing and does another, she's confused. For us men, this seems difficult af! But, women can hold contradicting values simultaneously. Call it "what God made them", or "evolution", it is what it is.

It's a Matrix reference that is widely used, and for good reason. When Morpheus gives Neo the chance to take the red pill, he will gain knowledge/wisdom, the ability to see how the world really works, and he'll never be the same. Or he can take the blue pill, and remain ignorant (not knowing), return to the way of life everyone else is taking (like sheep in a herd), and be "normal". To still be blue pilled means to be like everyone else. For some, they think only those who get caught are wrong, …

He's giving 3 reasons to date single moms. Number 1: Single Christian moms are as pure as the sinless Son of God, which is more than you deserve in a wife. LMAO I was gonna stop right there. But then he immediately uses: “He who finds a wife finds a good thing.” (Proverbs 18:22) Finding a wife means finding someone who already has the qualities the Bible clearly lays out, to be a wife. There was a reason that a part of tithes and offerings were given to single moms; ain't nobody had time for tha…

I'm single (twice divorced). And I see stuff like this more and more coming out of a bunch of different Christian faiths and denominations. I've stopped going physically a long time ago, but still watch on YouTube. I thought after the pandemic, I'd go in person. But, stuff like this just makes me believe I was ahead of the curve and makes me want to stay away.

I've got an ex-wife who says the same thing. After we divorced with no kids, she went for a CC ride and ended up with 2 kids with 2 deadbeat baby daddies (1 in jail, the other eventually on his way). She wanted to get back together with me. I asked about the child support situation and nothing but excuses.

Yeah, there were a few sentences that sounded like they were written by a dude. I can't explain it, but some parts just didn't sound right. They realize they lead guys on. They just won't admit to it. Something about accountability or something like that, and karma and good feels or whatever. Girls only say 30+ if they're...hmmm... I've never seen that happen. Usually, the reader has to use deductive reasoning to figure out that she's 30+.

As far as time being invaluable to her, to me that means her biological clock is ticking and she's already hit the snooze button. Also, to me it means she's not doing anything meaningful about it and getting frustrated at the sub par results her methods of attraction are getting her.
