That's fair, I thought you might be sometimes it's hard to tell.

I lean towards pity. I feel like it's very immature. Huge turnoff. Maybe your younger though IDK. If I had to guess it's a defense mechanism for her, if you reject she can just suggest she's just playing around, if you go too far she can be like woah I was just messing around. I would match the level of playfulness she is putting out. A bit of other advice, please take this lightly. Dont refer to her as a speciman. Although you might be british so maybe its fine?

Naw, simply not true. At least not my experience. Check out the 20 hour rule, you can become competent in a skill in 20 hours. But its not a matter of getting a certain amount of experience. Would you expect the 18 year old experienced in dating to be more likely to get 30 year old than the 30 year old with no experience? Its about maturity, not experience.

Use your past failures (including non-attempts) as motivation for the future. Shift your mind from thinking about your past as cringe and make an interesting moment. Think of past as watching the movie of your life, not experiencing them. This type of self awareness unlocks emotional holdups.

No, your point is valid and I appreciate the feedback. I'll take a hot response from you over someone doing self harm as a result over my post any day.

I agree based on some of the feedback I'm getting. I by no means meant this as all encompassing. I'm going to edit

I'm sorry if I offended that was not my intent. I wrote from the lense of this sub. Absolutely PTSD can be damaging to the point of life threatening and nobody should take that lightly or dismiss it.

Not my intent, really my intent was your second paragraph. If anyone took it this way I apologize. Trama can be very real and painful. For those of you reading remember how you feel about a situation is valid. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

PTSD can be a tool to become a better person. I'm not suggesting it goes away, but trama is a strong tool for success. Look up trama work it's really cool.

I hear you on that point but the arguement I'm making is the extremity nullifies the point. There are too many exceptions to the extremity to be valid. But I do understand you and the points you make have some weight, I just dont agree its relationship ending. Never approach a relationship with if x then leave.

I think it does, but I'm not a psychologist. You have some sources with this perspective so I can enlighten myself?

I think your fine in your approach here, but to suggest everyone should follow it is a bit off. Everyone is different and values different things. So to those that put an extreme value to receiving oral sex sure, logic is sound... but that's not everyone.

Folks need to understand that you choose whether something hardens you or breaks you. Its one of the few choices we have. Edit: this is not an all encompassing statement. If you are suffering right now your pain is valid. Seek out help because everyone needs help sometimes.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
