Men are constantly harped on to do better and improve all for what exactly?I'm married without kids, trying to improve myself constantly (particularly my health and efficiency at work/earning more money), for me this is related to be reasonably healthy and independent at old age, most of my family are diabetic, obese and dragging their ass in life miserably, I would like to get into an old age with dignity, also I need to have as much money as possible to retire comfortably, I come from a disadvantage background, so I didn't inherit shit. I'm trying to improve social s… | /r/MensRights | 26/12/24 03:41 PM
I'm Thinking of moving out of the United states, where should I move? This is my experience so far after 3.5. years in Amsterdam, I've lived in another 6 countries in Europe. There's good food around, but not as frequently available as in other places, most of the foreign foods are inferior versions (Japanese and Korean restaurants in Germany are way better for example, mexican places are a disgrace, I haven't found a decent chinese in town, I have no point of comparison for Moroccan food and surinamese food is amazing.). | 15 | I'm Thinking of moving out of the United states, where should I move? Not from US but the Netherlands is great, everyone speaks English, a big expat community, the Dutchies are friendly, the cities are beautiful, I'm in love with this country, the food is far from great, the weather is weird and sometimes I miss the mountains, but the rest is a dream. | /r/MensRights | 12/08/22 12:37 PM
There is a hypocrisy in straight women taking over gay barsWell It's more of a courtesy than something to be enforced, also, it's a little bit miopic to go to a bears night while being lesbian, or any other combination like that. The "odd" fitting ones are very few, nobody will question them if they want to go in but again, it's in their own detriment to do so. | /r/MensRights | 04/08/22 08:34 AM
There is a hypocrisy in straight women taking over gay barsWell... I'm bi, most of my friends are straight, we used to to go together to gay bars for 2 reasons a) me, b) the music and the atmosphere was the best. A lot of other bars were too niche, pretentious ot plain boring. So yeah there's that. We're I live now most gay bars have a rotation of lesbian nights, bear nights, nb nights, etc. To avoid the kind of shit the op mentiomed, during boys nights no girls allowed, during girls nights no boys allowed, the rest of the days everyone is welcome. | /r/MensRights | 03/08/22 11:47 AM
"White men can't experience racism"Sigh... There's a HUGE diference between suffering a discrimination incident and racism, someone telling you shit here and there is annoying and those people are disgusting, however racism is engraved in the society dynamics and the generalisation of misconceptions and biases against specific people. White people can face racism but not in America, I've seen Polish and Eastern Europeans, as blond as they get, being mistreated or heard horrible things about them... by other white people, so of co… | /r/MensRights | 01/08/22 12:08 PM
