8	Caring about ex wife You were married to her and unless it started as a loveless marriage you cared about one another at least part of the time. Issue is you were married to her. Past tense. And now must work to disassociate what was and transition into what is. I too have struggled with this. Luckily in my case we are childless and I can (and do) not talk with her, check her socials, etc. full no contact including blocking her to the full extent I can. 6	Really struggling with regret Hey man what is done is done. Similarly I know I caused a lot of issues and nudged my marriage towards where it is today (pretty much a done deal ended in divorce) but you know my stbxw had a role to play too and in the end chose to hide and lie about her side piece as well for months leading up to our separation. And that choice was totally on her. Only thing we can have any sliver of influence now on is how we act today and plan for the future tomorrow. Let the past go.
