Obviously you don't have a thing "with" blonds, but rather a thing "for" blonds. Maybe around blonds you come off as really eager, which can be a turn off, whereas with brunettes you are indifferent which may raise interest. Try and dislike (or well treat) everyone equally and see what happens.

It refers to not being able to get it up after you drink too much. I've slept with a few guys where they couldn't get it up after drinking way too much, which was fine since I was pretty drunk anyway. It doesn't refer to just whiskey, but really any alcohol. I don't have crappy taste in beer, but I don't drink beer to get drunk. Not enough bladder space. I'll drink beer with a burger. Get some type of liquor, and some mixers. I don't do fruity drinks either (I'm a PITA, eh?) and I prefer to drink vodka + tonic, but I'll drink straight liquor before I drink a beer if getting drunk is the goal.
