I think this mostly borders around vocalization of the problem category. The people who are satisfied with their sex life probably don’t even talk about it for the most part, where those who are frustrated are extremely vocal. This is probably why you hear about it a lot even though it’s probably quite a high percentage of couples that have a very satisfactory sex life.

We wait for opportunities for sex when the kids were super young. And both of our libidos were super high out of the gate. We have only ever been with each other though, dunno if that matters. Kids are 6 and 4 now, so it’s usually after they go to bed or morning sex on days off. My wife and I have very high libido as well, and I always thought once a day was pretty normal but over time realized it certainly was not. I don’t think either of us could handle only once a week, and we’ve been married for 12 years and have two kids.
