Omg !!!!!!! The craziest thing happened to me an hour ago. I I had just gotten back from Petco and parked my car at my condo complex I was on the phone with my mom and there is a strange guy with like a black hoodie on who is following me I didn't think anything of it and as I was walking to my condo he went to my passenger side of my car pulled out his pants and started jacking off he said do you like my penis baby and just gross things so I screamed and then I called the cops they didn't find …

I managed all the clusters that dock in the data center. I manage the whole end to end. From design, to testing, to building the racks in China, to shipping in The USA. The reason I get paid so much is this is a lucrative business it’s called infrastructure as a service. Cloud infra

Why do guys like to grab a guy’s butt when he is kissing her?
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/22 10:12 PM

I think he Afraid I’d judge him or make things awkward at the climbing gym. That’s my guess I’m just sad to hear the news I kinda liked him but I don’t want to be a step mom 😞
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/22 01:47 AM

No it’s his daughter lol. He made a mistake years ago And now has a kid… he sees the daughter several times a week. And co parents. Like why didn’t you tell me that sooner?!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/22 01:38 AM

What happened to atlas? They were my favorite too I also like Lilith and poppy
/r/PurplePillDebate14/03/22 01:29 AM

Someone posted on here that people on online dating are single for a reason, the good ones are taken. I finally understand this. I met a guy at the climbing gym who is also on hinge. We’ve been texting and climbing for 2 weeks and NOW he drops the bomb that he has a kid… why didn’t you put that on your profile or tell me sooner?? I dont want to be a step mom… ugh I feel like with online dating you have to be ready for the truth bombs

Women like sex- it’s just that sometime woman are not interested in the sex that can have right now (what’s right in front of them)
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/22 06:20 PM
2

Oh yeah I’m actually taking This as a positive people are leaving the app and meeting in real life. I’m using apps like 20% than investing in my real life connections like going to the climbing gym. I think I honestly have a better shot at love at the gym than the app lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/22 02:08 AM

Hahahahahaha. You know honestly I’ve actually have given chances to guys who are short, ugly and broke and they treat me worse than the hot guys.

Lol I have not seen Chad on bumble. I swipe left all the time. Someone posted a while back how guys nowadays have weird faces and it’s so true!! The guys in Seattle just look… odd lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/22 01:15 AM
11

I think the peak for dating apps was like 2016-2019. I’m back on hinge and bumble and I can’t believe how much these apps want me to pay. Bumble even limits how much you can swipe and you have to pay for more swipes! Hinge wants me to pay so my profile is “boosted” and the prices are horrendous. Like $30 a month omg. I miss when the apps were free!!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/03/22 01:07 AM

Yeah I think apps bring out the worst in each gender. That’s why I’m not using it as my only source. I go to the climbing gym a lot I figured that will be my way to find a partner lol
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 05:27 PM

I used to be super hopeful on dating apps- thinks I’ll magically find my soul mate within a couple of days. When I had this mindset, I found myself getting burnt a lot. Ending up in all kinds of situationships Now I’ve finally accepted apps for what they are- 90% of men are looking for casual. And for once I’m not feeling so down. I’m like 20% of my time on the app than 80% of my time in the wild
/r/PurplePillDebate10/03/22 05:18 PM

No I’m in Seattle and work in tech lol my base salary is 130k and this year I got cash money and stock bonus so my total annual income was 180k…

Potential to make money?? Haha I don’t understand how that’s Chadesy ! I date so many broke guys and PPD tells me I’m dating Chad 😵‍💫
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:57 PM
2

Well he doesn’t have money, he’s a broke PHD student. 33 years old and renting an apartment lol. Im 27 making 180k and bought my own condo but maybe you’re right he has options

Hahaha it does build anticipation for sure. I’m just worried I spoke too much on the first date! I don’t really like sit face to face for first dates as I will keep talking to avoid awkward silence. So I keep thinking I scared him off
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:42 PM
3

Haha I will! Im 50/50 because he seemed really interested in me, and was planning another date with me before we parted. I usually thinks that’s a good sign. Im just impatient lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:38 PM
1

Haha you think so?? Wow you guys are more optimistic then me. I’ll edit my post if he does text me
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:37 PM
1

Hahaha I mean I am in Seattle. I’ve heard guys don’t get many matches. he’s 5’10 so maybe you’re right he doesn’t get many matches 🤔
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:30 PM
4

Hahaha that’s what I keep trying to tell myself! That I’m sure I will hear back. He gave me a big hug before and after the date. Even bought me snacks since he knew id be hungry after climbing. He was a pretty fast texter before I just hate how the pace changes after dates!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:29 PM

Went on a first “date” yesterday from hinge. We met at brewery after my climbing session. I thought The date went really well. Before I left, he told me let’s plan something for Friday- I agreed. I texted him when I got home that I enjoyed meeting him and look forward to seeing him soon. I haven’t heard anything from him. I’m always so anxious after 1st dates. I know dating is a numbers game but sometimes I get really hopefully when I know 99% of first dates will go no where
/r/PurplePillDebate08/03/22 06:20 PM

New York lol but my fam is from Cuban they moved to New York City in 1968
/r/PurplePillDebate05/03/22 12:32 AM

Are you Hispanic? My mom is from Cuba. My family left when Castro took power so I wonder if that’s why my family’s structure is different then others
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 11:41 PM

She is 55
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 11:09 PM

I feel like all the dating problems can be summed up as the patriarchy Just one generation ago my mom couldn’t move out of the house unless she was married. She also didn’t go to college and therefore needed my dad to provide money + family Now that women have Rights can make their own money… they don’t need men. And I thinks that’s the real root cause of all the dating problems
/r/PurplePillDebate04/03/22 10:18 PM
2

Yeah I agree with your logic! I’m surprised that this guy was afraid to ask me out despite us vining.. like I’m totally okay being friends too but just strange that he purposely didn’t want to ask me on a date I’ve only met one weirdo lol but I’m not going to count him in my stack. All guys have been great otherwise
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 09:38 PM

Hahahah good point! Yeah I’ve been climbing with this guy many times. If he asked me for a drink after climbing I’d honestly be okay with it
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 08:43 PM
2

Oooh good point. I lived most of my life in Miami before moving to Seattle. Miami men are totally different then Seattle lol and it doesn’t help that I’m super extrovert (I’m Cuban). Seattle Men seem really anxious around me. And thanks for the tips to meet people in real life. I’m actually loving the climbing gym right now. I’ve met a lot of guys and it’s so refreshing to talk in person vs an app. I have no idea if I will find a boyfriend there that isn’t my net goal. I figured growing my socia…
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 08:42 PM
2

Well the women here say things like that’s not true!! And I’ve always hidden behind apps. That’s why I joined a climbing gym because it forces you to talk to people face to face
/r/PurplePillDebate03/03/22 08:29 PM
5

So I want to give credit to the guys here. They are right how it is hard to approach women in public I joined a climbing gym to 1)get in shape lol and 2) meet guys. So far I’ve met many guys and they’ve all been friendly (not creepy, nor asking me on dates) I also have hinge and one of the guys I climb with regularly matched with me ( I never got his number from the gym). He was telling me how women don’t like to be approached at the gym- and how his girl friends have complained when men approac…

This thread is really popular today https://www.reddit.com/r/datingoverthirty/comments/t478x4/women_do_you_ever_wish_that_you_were_raised_to/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Most women are saying it never works in their favor when they pursue the guys- and then the guys are getting mad at the women for saying this. People are going to look out for their own interest. And in my experience, if a woman is pursuing the guy, the guy is getting the benefits of a girlfriend while th…

I think men want women to give them benefit of the doubt so men don’t have to level up or be held accountable. I don’t think giving men benefit of the doubt ever works in the woman’s favor

Staying strong but blocking them!! He was a doctor though and is going to eastern wa in the summer and started freaking out about it. But I did meet him at the gym. He actually stopped going because he said seeing me confused. He wants to be with me but “ viscerally knows he shouldn’t”… I meet strange people lol

Never tolerated being friends with- HA!!! That is SO SO TRUE!!! On a psychology podcasts-Kirk said something like when you enter the dating arena- you’re literally interacting with all spectrums of the human race. Sometimes I forget that. Like you’re a doctor, and speak well/ how can you hold a good job while also being so shitty?!
/r/PurplePillDebate24/02/22 12:01 AM

Oh yeah that’s why I don’t want to make my post gendered. I date men so that’s my experiences but women do this too You summed it up with humans gonna human lol

I usually block them after the fact because it is a nice ego boast when they do reach out. But I agree people I should block quicker

Hahah Idk why but this made me laugh There was a guy I was seeing 8 months on and off. Who would ignore me all the time. I eventually got tired of this and ended things with him in person, in which he became very aggressive and hostile to me. I ended up crying and he said I deserved it and he would never speak to me again This was in November. Fast forward he reached out to me 1st week of February. I couldn’t believe it. He definitely was horny but when I reminded him how poorly he treated me an…

I guess that explains why people hate FDS block your exes rule haha. Cutting of the supply. I don’t consider guys I block Chads. But that’s just me. Chad is apparently so hot and so sexy no girl would ever block him!!
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:45 PM
3

That’s not Chad lol. Chad doesn’t end things to hit women up for women to turn him down. That’s a guy with no options. A girl isn’t an option once you dump her, especially if she blocks a guy.
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:40 PM

This is a good response. Most logically explanation I’ve seen. Why do they get mad when I turn them down though?? And why are men indecisive
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:39 PM

Hahah I guess there’s a better chance of smashing with the I’m sorry text. I mean maybe they are sorry hahah and horny lol

If these guys were Chad they wouldn’t hit me up they would have other options lol

Hahaha sorry didn’t mean to attack you!!
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:34 PM

Well I wasn’t happy when they dumped me. They should consider my feelings too

Then they get mad when I’m no longer interested. Sorry you have to work on
/r/PurplePillDebate23/02/22 11:31 PM

They also get mad when you’re no longer interested in giving them sex hahah like the ship has sailed

Hahah no it’s always some fake apology. They should just be honest “like hey I’m texting you not because I want to get back with you, I’m just horny wanna smash?” I hate the fake sorry and fake I miss you? Now you’re a liar and liars are awful people

My rant is, why do men always come back? I’ve had guy end things with me 2nd, 3rd date. And they always hit me up 3 months later. It’s extremely frustrating. The last guy who did this, I told him we either work on this NOW, or you’re done for good. He was surprised by my strictness. It’s almost like people forget there are consequences for their actions. I just wish people really thought through things before making knee jerk decisions. It’s one thing to not be interested in me- it’s another to …

Hahah well I’ve improved a lot! When he told me how we couldn’t speak anymore because I was temptation and causing him to lust over me- I told him okay fine don’t talk to me. And left him on read Old me would keep texting and texting hoping to change his mind! But I don’t want to beg a guy to be with me. I hated how I would always feel after I did this

He was in the peace corps for a bit, and also loves to rock climb and hike. But just by the looks I’m so surprised. But he does have incel behavior for sure- was telling me how it’s unfair women (like me) get more matches then him. Was going on a whole rant And I’m like but you’re good looking and a doctor!! He’s photos were all right plus he talked himself out of sex. He’s a born again Christian and told me I was making him act out in lust so now we aren’t talking lol I feel bad for incels but …

So girls should be accept being an option? Girls get more matches then guys on dating apps so why settle for being an option
/r/PurplePillDebate19/01/22 07:53 PM

I find it amusing when guys get mad when girls don’t want to be their backup chick lol. There’s no point for a girl settling for breadcrumbs, ghosting, low investment treatment etc. if a guy has other options you don’t need a bench warmer girl Why do guys on PPD get upset about this? Are girls just supposed to accept poor treatment?

Hahaha! Oh yeah this sub is weird about successful women. The whole your degree isn’t a personality trait hahaha the reality is it’s expensive to live in the west and couples with high joint income (meaning the woman has a good income plus the guy) have better relationship success… so I’m not sure what planet these guys live on. Also if there view was right then women in high level positions would never be married because men wouldn’t want her. Almost all women directors and VPs I know are marri…

Dead weight like guys who don’t have money? I went on a date with a doctor in residency- he is 32 and he admitted that he’s intimidated by my financial security (he currently lives in a medical co Ed frat house). Oh yeah I’m not planning on selling ever. My goal is if I ever get married would use this condo to rent, take an equity loan out to buy another home with my husband. I’m in tech, I bought in 2020 when the housing market was down. I’ve posted here my salary but then guys attack me lol I get it I complain about being single but that has nothing to do with my finances 😆

I just redownloaded hinge, I have over 100 requests from guys and I’m currently going through him Seriously what’s with men posting horrible photos of themselves? Don’t they have guy friends they can show their profiles too? Some of the photos just don’t make sense. Like weird mirror selfies where the mirror is disgusting. Putting videos of them singing off key… I can go on and on. Put more effort into your photos!!

I spoke with my dentist on this- it isn’t covered on my plan so I would have to pay out of pocket. Unless he said if chewing with my mouth open solves the problem then why get braces to fix such a minor problem? I mean down the road I can look into. I Only see my sister when I visit Florida and none of my friends care how I chew
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 12:39 AM
1

Oh yeah I totally understand that’s why I don’t eat around her- what I don’t like is she’s attacking me for not eating with her because she wants me to fix my teeth lol like I think I made a good compromise. I shouldn’t have to eat with her if she doesn’t like how I chew
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 12:38 AM
1

I don’t think it’s that much- it’s just enough to avoid biting my lip and cheek. I totally understand if it’s someone’s deal breaker- I just wouldn’t date that person. I’m sure I could find someone who would accept me. I’ve dated people who smoked cigarettes despite not liking it because I ended up falling for the person
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 12:03 AM
1

So my dentist expanded my mouth when I had braces (I had head gear and everything) I should’ve had 2 teeth removed so instead he expanded my jaw. Plus I have big teeth, little lips. My teeth shifted a little, but now when I chew I end up biting the inside of my lips and cheeks, to the point of bleeding. So now I chew with my mouth open to avoid this. I could chew with my mouth closed it would just be extremely painful for me due to the constant biting of my lip and cheeks
/r/PurplePillDebate02/01/22 12:01 AM

Hahaha that’s pretty intense. I told her she was being hurtful not accepting me and she said I was being hurtful to her not changing for her… really weird

Hahah ! That photo is too accurate!!
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 11:51 PM

Yeah you put my thoughts into words!! I’m a pretty decent looking woman, and since I’ve begged and pleaded with guys, sometimes I think I’ve inflated their egos. They think they are Chad when they aren’t. Then when they hit the apps again they get no matches and come back to me. I think I’ve sold the mystery. I didn’t think I could inflate someone’s ego but I think you’re right
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:54 PM

Yeah that’s what I keep noticing, in the moment I’ll be crying feeling everything- the guy is ice cold. Then months later the guy feels how I felt in that moment. And it’s like dude where was this emotion that night? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:38 PM
2

Agreed. I learned to never do that again. Made a fool of myself. Is that your experience too? Every guy has come back to me- same with my friends, and I see posts like this all the time in the dating subreddits
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:37 PM
1

Hmm yeah that makes sense. Ive had guys end things for odd reasons (not emotional) heck one guy ended things with me because he was tired on our scheduled date lol and he hated the idea of having to put energy that day to see me. I begged and pleaded with him because we had a great connection- to throw it away because you are tired is bizarre (and yes hindsight I see he just wasn’t into me but we were dating 10 months) he came crawling back months later after I made a fool of myself crying in hi…
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:36 PM

A girl will be on her knees, crying and begging for her guy to stay. He stonewalls her, ice cold. She leaves crying. Months later, he reaches out to her wanting a second chance Why does this happen? I’ve experienced this and so have my friends. Are men that bad at feeling their feelings?
/r/PurplePillDebate31/12/21 09:26 PM

I do follow my regime- I do agree sometimes I over do it. I just can’t sit still in my condo. I’m working from home so i have way too much down time lol.

If she’s interested she will come back. I’ve made my interest super clear to guys, if they aren’t interested they will be vague. Once I stop engaging they usually come back. That’s been my experience. I started thinking it’s because I wasn’t playing hard to get ( I was too available) but who knows. Life is too short to play these games. If I like you- I’ll let you know l

Am a woman can confirm my friends do stupid things like this! One of my girl friends messaged a guy she was saying “want to hangout this weekend” he said he was busy but could meet on Wednesday. I’ve been so lazy in Florida. I bust my butt in Washington (working out twice a day, full time job, hiking, soccer and now I’m in a show) I like being busy but man was I tired. I’ve been sleeping in everyday, listening to podcasts I’ve never had the time to listen to, online shopping and reading. I actually feel refreshed lol maybe I need to chill out more often 😆

About 8 months I’ve posted about this guy before he was 40 and I’m 26- the problem is he always wanted to have sex I didn’t. So he tried being friends with me and negging. Last time he negged I told him it was disrespectful and hurtful.. never heard from him again. Kinda annoyed he couldn’t address the issue. But I get it he’s probably annoyed nothing would work to get me to sleep with him
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 02:43 AM
1

Good point if they aren’t making the issue a big deal then I should just drop it
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 02:08 AM
1

Yeah that’s what I’m trying to do. This one friend Insulted me on text- I called him out on it and he ghosted me. I never followed up because you’re right I can’t give it power. Just annoying that people can’t talk things out. I asked him why he’s been saying insulting comments to me- and if there’s an issue let’s talk… never responded
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 02:07 AM
1

Oh good point about accepting they may be the problem. Anytime I call someone out in real life about their treatment about me- they always stonewall me. It’s really strange
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 02:06 AM
1

That the issue fades away?
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 02:04 AM
3

I think men’s assumptions here are way to black and white. I see very few comments with nuance. I used to do blanket statements too but realized I’m playing into toxic masculinity. Men are people too with emotions and feelings. Most of the issues are due to men not being taught at young ages to communicate along with toxic masculinity. Let’s talk about that instead of attacking individual men
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 01:25 AM
2

I really hate the Passive aggressive culture so prevalent in America. If you have an issue with me, let’s talk it out instead of ignoring me or stonewalling me. What good does that do? 😑
/r/PurplePillDebate29/12/21 01:24 AM
1

Ugh that sucks !! Is everything always Motivated? Also I find people who analyze are insecure. Like the guy who analyzed me couldn’t understand why I didn’t want sex. He thought it was because classism, and money but really it was because I found him ugly.. I guess the truth is hard to accept? Lol
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/21 09:02 PM

What is sociology? I used to be friends with a sociologist and all he would do is analyze the choices I made… was really weird
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/21 06:28 PM

Yeah seriously that comment was overly sexist. Men can also cry about this type of thing too… women unfortunately are raised to feel feelings while men are raised to shut down feelings it’s quite sad
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/21 10:12 PM

Haha I know!! I’ve been watching this therpay videos about feeling your feelings especially from your childhood. I think my brain took it a bit too far 😆

Omggggg this is so embarrassing my parents and I were talking about child psychology and I was telling them a story about me crying in school for my dad packing my lunch wrong and I legit started crying again reliving this moment !!! Really embarrassing lol I never cry in front of my parents
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/21 08:53 PM
2

Wow, that makes sense!! All the guys I’ve rejected end up asking me “am I too ugly for you?!” 😯
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/21 06:11 PM
2

Have you asked her what you can do to make her feel better? I’m going to give psychology advice which is counter to PPD lol. Really sit down with her, empathize, listen and then ask her what she wants from you. I think she’ll be so shocked honestly if you did that. If she has no answer, then tell her I think we can drop it, unless you just want to vent which id recommend you speak with your girl friends on lol
/r/PurplePillDebate26/12/21 06:04 PM

Why do guys get so upset when you turn them down for sex?

Hmm good point- that friend I had (40 year old tennis partner) was a sociologist and it sucked. He analyzed all my choices (since sociology is about choices) and would get mad at me that my choices made no sense and he couldn’t put me in an identity bucket haha. Sociology forgets that people have free will and aren’t just choices they make. We are complex beings

Yeah exactly! Before everyone knew what marriage meant and what it looked like- now it’s up to the partners and what’s worrisome is the happiness and emotions can change. Before people stayed in unhappy marriages for the greater good of the family and society shamming, now if I’m not happy I have no consequences in leaving. To really get the glue needed in a relationship takes more work then ever- but the positive is once you get that glue you’ll have a happy relationship. But yeah it’s super ex…

One thing I learned this year is- in order to have a successful relationship- you really need to communicate. Before feminism- we had courtship rules that were understood by men and women. Monogamy meant one person for life- and having sex for the first time. Now monogamy is one person at a time, and when we are married we stop having sex with others. This means- we don’t have a relationship model anymore. Everything is fair game. We have MORE freedom (but more uncertainty since nothing is defin…

Ghosting, breadcrumbing : These tactics of maintaining unclear relationships and prolonging break-ups all produce what I call stable ambiguity; too afraid to be alone, but unwilling to fully engage in intimacy building — a holding pattern that affirms the undefined nature of the relationship, which has a mix of comforting consistency AND the freedom of blurred lines

I see many comments on Reddit saying “some many people on OLD have issues and shouldn’t be dating!” These same people complain they aren’t the ones with the issues it’s everyone else How can that be? Haha I’m sure the issue people think the same thing about themselves too!
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/21 10:23 PM

Agreed. He’s a super intelligent guy- we’d have such enlighten conversation so I never understood why he kept thinking we’d hook up. I told him numerous times he wasn’t my type (which he understood since he’d make comments about the guys I like- see bullet 2). Despite being book smart I think he kept thinking with the wrong head
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/21 09:04 PM

Ah makes sense. He hooks up with A LOT of women- so I can see this technique working. It just never worked on me since I think he is hideous. Great tennis player but he smokes a lot, has moldy teeth, and a hairy beard. I could never in my life kiss him. I’d be Afraid of getting fungus on my lip
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/21 09:02 PM

I agree I let this go on way too long. He would always say “but I know we are just friends it would never happen” Later on- he got a FWB with this girl he met at the grocery store, they were always seeing each other so I thought- he’s got his sex now we can be friends. But his FWB wasn’t enough he wanted me for whatever reason which I thought was… odd, I told him numerous times he wasn’t my type But yeah I let this go on way too long- totally agree with you on this

Ah!! You’re right !!! That makes sense why he ghosted me. We used to text everyday! Sending me memes or negging me- after he sent that message I texted him a long paragraph that I won’t tolerate that and it’s super rude and uncalled for. Left me on read which he never does. I think he realized he’s negging went too far I enjoyed playing tennis with him but as other pointed out- I shouldn’t be friends with older men like this. They will expect sex
/r/PurplePillDebate21/12/21 08:45 PM

I agree with this take. I work in tech- he’s a freelance writer and yeah he was always saying how I’m so elite- he’s so poor. So instead of increasing his value he needed to bring me down He also said that I have such an inflated ego and he needed to humble me. 😯

Aw thanks I appreciate it! The reason he said that remark was the day before I told him how I got kicked out of the Chabad for my mom not being Jewish and I was upset. He said that the only reason I was going to Chabad was because I’m running away from my Cuban identity and wanted to be considered white (he’s a communist from bosina into these weird identity takes) I told him that was untrue that I actually was going to Chabad to explore my Jewish roots and I do believe in God wanted to learn mo…

He does dumpster dive. He’s currently hooking up with a single mother who claims she’s been raped before and is also has a drinking partner. That’s why I thought he was okay being friends- he has someone for sex but I guess she’s too easy so it didn’t mean anything to him

I’ve been listening to various relationship podcast and on one podcast this lady suggested we should write more letters (hand written) since it has more value then digital. We got along really well! He reads a lot and is into politics I enjoyed our conversation. Why can’t some guys handle being friends or be upfront with their intention? He never told me he wanted to hookup, until he saw I was never interested in that

Are you familiar with Jane Austen? Her books and her time period (19th century) speak of something different. Post modernism (20th century) was more focused on the individual and choice but people were still forced into marriages. FDR had a mistress, JFK’s dad had a mistress. It was common to have a mistress because again marriage then wasn’t about love it was about social mobility and family. Women couldn’t divorce back then even if their husbands were cheating on them due to breaking up the fa…

I’m reading books about 19th century courtship rituals vs modern dating today. Despite looking romantic on the outside, 19th century courtship sucked for everyone since you rarely married the person you loved. Your wife was the person who bears your children. Therefore you usually found love outside your marriage. Adultery was huge during this time. Despite challenges with dating today, it is nice we can decide what type of relationship we want and marry for love (if that’s what we want). I real…

Can relate to this list. I posted in her about a male friend I had who is 40 ( I’m 26). We became good friends from playing tennis but soon became sexually frustrated with me. Would text me backhand insults like im so naive only chasing white guys and overlooking good men (he is from Bosina). Also mind you he was already hooking up with another woman but the fact that he couldn’t “get” me lead to a long road of courting then insults. His brain just couldn’t handle us being friends. So I do have …

If you sort by controversy you get those comments hahah. I’d like to think people have more depth then that though. Depression and other mental health problems are on the rise so I really doubt it’s a Chad problem. I’m inclined to believe this girl

I mean yeah the problem with apps is you need to market yourself, but to be honest every generation had problems with dating. I’ve learned to either play the rules of OLD and market by myself or put myself in situations to meet people. That’s all you can do. As much as this sucks I rather have this then 1800 arrange marriage courtship. Freedom is better then that environment. Up until no fault divorce and the pill women didn’t have much freedom in dating.

I don’t think it’s so much apps ruined casual sex- I’d blame lack of urban density. If you’re not in a dense area of living, then yeah it’s going to be harder to meet people. My parents met in NYC. My mom was a secretary and my dad was NYPD. He got called into her building, and they started talking. Rest is history. Urban density allows a lot of people in a small area. Riding public transportation, walking in areas that are made strictly for walking (Europe has this type of feature) (as opposed …

From a logical standpoint it doesn’t make sense to keep something causal for more then 1 month. If you’re seeing you’re casual person for more then 3+ months I hate to tell you, you’re in a relationship lol. I was casual with someone for 10 months and he was almost annoyed with me when I asked can we just say we dating LTR. I honestly think it’s an emotional trauma problem. Like they are too scared to “commit” despite committing to 10 months of casual lol

Oh no I meant these same guys I chased off come back lol so we are in the same league or else they Wouldn’t come back and I’ll add that all men I’ve chased started chasing me in the begging too, but whenever I started showing interest they lose interest hence me chasing more and more. Then I stop they come back. In my post I’m putting a lot of blame on myself, but I will say that sometimes the guys aren’t available One guy I chased (again showed interest in me first) just got out of a 2 year rel…

Do guys here really fantasize girls chasing them? I’m late to a post asking if girls have competed for a guy. Anytime I’ve competed, a guy loses interest, then once I stop, guy starts chasing me lol So what’s the fantasy about? All guys I’ve chased seemed annoyed with me to be honest. I wouldn’t recommend chasing to anyone
/r/PurplePillDebate16/12/21 09:10 PM
1

Hmm I’ll be honest, I have chased/competed for men. Unsure if a girl was involved, but these men wouldn’t give me much attention and so I would chase them. As others noted- it is exhausting and quite cringe worthy. The more I chased- the more the guy lost interest. This would lead to an explosion where I would be crying right in front of the guy, and he still would refuse me. Then I would walk away, never to talk to that guy again. Eventually months or years later they come back lol But it is in…

Dating has always been hard. You’re dealing with the human race- which has a lot of messed up people. The problems are all the same but the mediums in which we see the problems are different. Back in the day, you’re lover just stopped writing to you (ghosting) Now we just ignore text messages. I don’t think the problems in dating have changed- I do think (and the data shows) that people are more depressed/ mental health problems have risen. This will affect your dating life if you’re bringing ba…

Why do most gay male relationships have huge age gaps? Like my friend is dating a guy 13 years older then him
/r/PurplePillDebate04/12/21 12:53 AM

I think the majority of people are good at communication their intentions. My girl friends are on the dating apps, and most guys will text them “no longer interested” if they move on. I think only a small % of people ghost.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/12/21 08:36 PM

Why do people use pick me as an insult? What if a pick me was happy?
/r/PurplePillDebate28/11/21 10:35 PM

we live in an era of “individual empowerment” so everyone is concerned about their own well being and prerogative. Other people’s feelings are rarely considered when dating.

Agreed, for the record I haven’t engaged with this man I blocked his number after the crawl back. Are there times when men are truly sorry? I do have a big heart, sometimes to my own fault, and I always wonder if men can change and be sorry for their actions?

Wow, you really put my experience into words. There was one guy I was on and off with for 10 months, gave him so much attention when he only gave me crumbs. We had a big fight when I asked for more and he said “if you can’t handle the ambiguity, then this isn’t going to work” all this side while I was crying and he did nothing to comfort me, instead kicked me out of his apartment and told me to cry in my car…. /r/PurplePillDebate24/11/21 08:50 PM

Haha I like that a geisha! I agree a guy wants options but you’re right he won’t respect her, that’s why guys tend to magically care about a girl after she leaves Him
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 03:50 AM
2

So what’s the logic behind guys getting mad when a girl blocks them, especially if things ended badly?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:46 AM
1

And what should girls assume? He is also seeing other people?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:34 AM

Should people just be upfront and let people know their an option? Maybe some people are okay with that if they knew
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:30 AM

Exactly that’s my feeling too lol, please stay as an option for when I am lonely
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:29 AM

So a guy should have so many options that losing one doesn’t bother him lol I see guys complaining about girls blocking them .. like what did you expect?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:22 AM
1

So because a girl longed over a guy who treated her as an option she be like that for her future partners?
/r/PurplePillDebate22/11/21 01:18 AM

Do guys truly want girls to be pick mes? I see guys getting mad over FDS advice of block and move on if a guy is treating you like an option.. do guys seriously expect girls to be okay with being an option? lol

Yeah my friend is going through this was seeing a guy for 4 weeks, had sex, and yesterday he hits her with “I’m only looking for casual” she’s hurt because he put looking for relationship in his profile
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/21 11:30 PM

Why do guys put they are looking for a relationship in their dating profiles when they are really just looking for casual? Seems like fake adverting lol
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/21 10:59 PM
1

Well what do you think about the typical advice of “if a guy is being lukewarm he isn’t it to you” like canceling last min, taking forever to respond to texts etc. you still see the guy but yeah it’s on and off. I’ve been there before, and you’re right the guy can still like you (I’ve had guys admit it) but the Internet disagrees curious to hear your thoughts
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 11:27 PM
3

Hahah! Omg yeah that’s so true! Guys will feel lukewarm about a girl- don’t necessarily want to end it but yeah want to see other girls I call it stable ambiguity. Unless a guy really hates you.. he won’t explicitly end things with a girl just my observation
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 11:19 PM
5

I agree with this observation, guys tend things more easily then regret it
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 10:43 PM

Something I’ve noticed in dating subreddits When an ex comes back it appears to be a guy (meaning the guy was the dumper girl was the dumpee and he came back) I don’t see too many girl ex (girl was the dumper, guy was the dumpee) came back posts Do guys just take longer to process a breakup? The only time I’ve witness a guy not coming back if it the girl is a complete nutcase. But if a girl goes no contact immediately after a breakup, a guy almost always comes back. Anyone else relate?
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 09:48 PM
3

Hahahha same, I think it’s healthy to rant every now and then. Like I logically know dating has always been hard (even pre social media) but some days dating SUCKS and you want to rant
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 08:37 PM

Are people here looking for advice? I’m mostly here to complain lol
/r/PurplePillDebate19/11/21 08:31 PM

It’s okay to be the 2nd choices people lol like sorry things didn’t workout with the other guy and she wants to try again with this guy? He of course can say no but it’s not HORRIBLE to be a 2nd choice. If things ended well I’ll give guys 2nd chances people change
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 05:57 PM

Do people really care if you’re picky as long as you don’t complain?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/11/21 05:54 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/21 10:55 PM

Damn that “if I had a great girlfriend I’d stop having casual sex with women I don’t care about 3 times a week” hit me hard. I’ve been with men (and you see it on datingoverthirty) you’re in a situationship for months (5-12 months) and the guy just won’t commit then finally one day tells you “you aren’t the one” despite acting like a boyfriend. So you leave… months later guy doesn’t find “the one” and comes back to you.. it’s insanity
/r/PurplePillDebate16/11/21 09:10 PM

What I’ve noticed in modern dating: people like keeping things ambiguous (read ghosting, flaking, breadcrumbs etc). I call this stable ambiguity

Omg I totally agree with this! I went on a couple of dates with a guy who said his partner needs to be smart and constantly pushing him for success, and if he got bored with her he’d break up. People have this notion that your partner needs to be everything (Ester Pearl has stated this too) but when it comes to other types of relationships people are more realistic it’s only in romantic relationships people develop weird ideas. People also think romantic relationship need chemistry 100% of the t…

I definitely agree with they want to be loved but don’t know what love is! I’ve noticed guys (who pursued me) start getting nervous when I show love back.. would be super confusing for me the mixed signs. It is scary to be vulnerable and I know many men are scared to be hurt again

I agree with this from my observations too. I don’t think Seattle is a place men to be players ( like I’ve never met a Chad in Seattle, I am from Miami.. many Chads there haha) you’re right Seattle men are more relationship oriented but it’s hard to find someone without a mental health problem/ avoidant attachment. Every guy I’ve dated was avoidant attached. Would lash out on me when they started developing feelings for me, would make me cry, then when I finally walked away… would come back. I’v…

Yeah i agree I feel like every causal/ situationship ive been in someone’s trauma wounds had been trigger and that person didn’t know how to communicate that. I’ve also had my traumas triggered and acted in ways I don’t normally act in. But most people aren’t emotional mature to sit down and talk things out after those situations they just throw the whole person out
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/21 09:13 PM
2

In Seattle it seems that way- most single people seem depressed maybe it’s the weather just my observation
/r/PurplePillDebate12/11/21 08:26 PM
5

What I find so interesting about modern dating- is despite all the choices, the vast majority of people are still depressed/miserable. Both genders want love but then push people away (avoidant behavior) and later regret it. Other people smother the person (pre-occupied) and push people away. Then later on in life the people who left regret and feel sad. I feel like I’m in some sort of negative feedback loop haha. It’s like we all want love but then crash and burn.. really interesting

I saw on tik tok JFK was gay (Google JFK gay for photos) I don’t want to debate that but rather why in the 1900-1970s men were more affectionate with other men? Even Lincoln slept in a bed with another man and it was cool. Nowadays men don’t seem that warm with their other male friends
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 11:33 PM

Haha well it’s true the guys are more confident! Last Thursday I was playing soccer and one guy was really nice to me (he was cute too) we had a pleasant convo then I see his wedding ring on his hand. Married men really carry themselves differently
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 08:54 PM
2

That makes sense! I can totally see this
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 08:45 PM
2

Right?! I play a lot of co-Ed soccer and it’s something I noticed between single guys vs the taken guys. I’ve read studies that married men live longer then single men so I wonder if that has to do with it?
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 08:42 PM
3

Another thought I had- I can tell when a guy is married /has a long term girlfriend. The way a guy holds himself- he seems so much happier and confident. Why is that? Going back to my earlier post all 35+ single men I know look depressed while their married counterparts looks happy. Ofc there’s exceptions but let’s talk about in general
/r/PurplePillDebate09/11/21 08:37 PM
4

I’m sure you’re a good catch- I think a lot of these people realize after we’re gone that we were the best thing that happened to them. I also put a lot of effort (more then I should’ve) in creating bonds with me men that put zero to no effort- then when they go back on the apps they realize they won’t find a girl willing to do what I did. I think the same happens to you too.. appreciate what you have!
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 06:08 PM
2

Yeah I attribute this to mental health- normal people don’t act like this
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 06:05 PM
7

I’m 26 but tend to date older men 35-36 usually- I can say if a guy is still single at 35/36 they most definitely have a mental health problem. I just ended things with a guy I was dating (36) because he seemed to have narcissistic/borderline personality issues. I know this is a huge generalization but it’s been my situation. I’m also in Seattle so that may explain a lot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 05:58 PM
3

Hahahahah wow that was hilarious I’m a girl but yeah I get these type of texts from my exes too.. it is quite annoying especially if the person put you through a lot of pain and knows it (usually I was the one crying) the lack of self awareness is astounding
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 05:58 PM

Why are men post 30 having mental health problems?
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 05:55 PM

Oh yeah women too, I dare men so my data is just on men. They seem SUPER avoidant- and what’s sad is this men want love but end up pushing away women that would give them that.. it’s super sad

I just ended things with a guy I was dating (36) because he seemed to have narcissistic/borderline personality issues. I know this is a huge generalization but it’s been my situation. I’m also in Seattle so that may explain a lot lol
/r/PurplePillDebate08/11/21 06:06 AM

Omg I know! My friend told me lawyers see a lot of shit and get depressed
/r/PurplePillDebate04/11/21 12:38 AM

He never said.. wouldn’t tell me lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 10:10 PM

They read it when they are in the red and then get mad 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 10:10 PM

The devs didn’t like that I showed where we were read they want me to reformat the table to hide that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 10:09 PM

I always found it strange he was still 36 and single oh he never had a long term relationship either, I call it a yellow flag. Maybe he hasn’t found the right girl or commitment issues
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 09:26 PM

Oh yeah I think guys do this too, one guy I was talking to was 36, never been married, a broke lawyer (still rented) smoked cigarettes and joints (in the house too) and was sooo picky with women, like have you seen yourself? lol but most people lack self awareness
/r/PurplePillDebate03/11/21 09:13 PM

Having a bad day at work, under my management’s guidance a sent out a newsletter and my devs and their manager quickly attacked it and said it was awful. Took me 2 days to put it together luckily my manager defended me but still kinda stings

Women should not expect from men pre 1960 courtship while simultaneously expecting post 1960 feminism Equality is women texting men first, women paying for dates. Women making the first move, if you want pre 1960 courtship expect pre 1960 roles just saying

Come to Seattle and you’ll see for yourself lol men here have many mental health problems
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 08:49 PM

I second this most guys who are average looking and single do have women- they just end up self sabotaging the relationship. No one ever wants to talk about that on the sub lol it’s somehow the women’s fault if a man has uncontrollable anxiety that destroys the relationship
/r/PurplePillDebate23/10/21 05:43 PM
2

Omg that’s so true about “ always being available” when guys have ghosted me and I move on, and then they come back- they are like upset that I moved on. “How can you expect me to text you everyday” they say coming back 6 months later, it’s the strangest phenomenon. What I mean about 2nd chances is if someone really changed. I’ve gone a great dates, guy ghosts, and comes back , but truly sincere that he’s sorry. I’ll give him another chance. The constant communication can give people anxiety and…

I definitely agree with your observation. I noticed a trend on datingoverthirty (I like to frequent that sub) of zombies returning. Many posters were asking why so many people keep returning (after breaking up or ghosting). I think it’s because of OLD burnout. Better to go back to someone you know then swipe on the apps. I have the same mentality too. I’d give guys second chances if they come back because of how much I hate the apps, like I already vetted you let’s just try again 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 07:52 PM

Are you in NYC?
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 05:40 AM

I think NYC dating is worse for women. Haha I think I’ll stay in Seattle my chances are better
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 05:24 AM

Looksmatch in Seattle is so strange. I see so many good looking guys with average to below average women. Is it because there’s more men then women so guys settle?!
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 04:26 AM
2

Was just going to comment that lol
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 03:32 AM
1

Oh sorry- also have read books on women in the 1930s that gave men (they briefly dated) second chances. Kick Kennedy gave Billy Many chances before they married
/r/PurplePillDebate12/10/21 12:39 AM
3

I look at my family- what my mom and aunts put up with men. I also read many biographies of women from the 1900s- again and see what women put up with. I’m not saying it’s great and we should want to go back- but because women put up with so much the pendulum has now shifted to the other side. Women will no longer put up with bad behavior no matter how innocent
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 11:11 PM
1

Hahahaha! Omg that’s like… the worst dating advice ever created. I feel like majority people don’t know themselves very well. You should be able to reject someone and 100% be okay with that decision. Both genders make this mistake. I like this person but xyz so let me reject and probably regret it later. Maybe it’s because people are distracted and don’t spend enough alone time/mediate
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 10:06 PM
5

Another thought I have (had so many today) is the average men is capable of getting into a relationship I think most men self-sabotage developing relationships and end up single. Back in the day- women would be more forgiving and give 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances but that’s rare nowadays. If men make any mistakes, show loss of interest, ghost due to uncertainty, that girl is long gone. based off my observations, this is really why men end up single.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 09:48 PM

Oh yeah I’m not saying they are wrong in their assessment but it’s the delivery. Like you need to block this persons number in case they come back. What’s wrong with talking to the person if they come back? 😆
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:21 PM

True!! Yeah I see that a lot. Like some poster had a guy say he was “busy” but was cheating and now anytime a guy says he’s busy he’s a cheater- it seems Reddit posters have extreme rules and make everything gendered instead of maybe this one person was an asshole
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:13 PM

True most people on datingoverthirty seem really bitter, fed up with dating but also a tad desperate for love they have crazy rules for dating and it’s super extreme. God forbid you “waste your time” with someone
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:12 PM

You’re right. You see if a women says she’s busy she probably is, but if a guy says he’s busy he’s a player.. wow that’s kinda crazy
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:10 PM

Do OPs who post about guys losing interest (slow fading) want to hear move on?! Haha the posts are always like “I really felt a connection with this man, everything was great and then he got busy” I almost feel sad for the OP like that’s unfortunate, but instead of saying that everyone is like THIS GUY SUCKS!! He’s a player!! You’re dating above your looksmatch.. it’s super mean I feel down after reading the comments I start thinking are men that evil? 😯
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 06:05 PM

Why are people so mean on dating subreddits? Is it some sort of revenge fantasy? Any gender posts something about the other gender about it looks like this person is losing interest Comments: Omgg you need to move on RIGHT now! He’s probably having sex with 10 other women. He’s not interested and WILL NEVER be MOVE ON!!! I find these comments to be kinda mean, harsh and extreme. It leaves no room for nuance. I’m starting to think people enjoy other people’s misery.

What was his reason coming back
/r/PurplePillDebate11/10/21 03:03 AM
2

I’ll also add women stay single by not giving second chances- let’s say they meet the guy you describe and they like him a lot, but he’s aloof, ghosts, fades etc for whatever reason. When he comes back, despite how much she likes this guy, she will have to reject. No second chances no matter what!! After spending a lot of time on the dating over thirty sub I realized most women are single because they fall in love with some guy who, for whatever reason can’t commit to them, the girl keeps dating…

Can you elaborate
/r/PurplePillDebate10/10/21 02:28 AM

Yeah I don’t understand why people are unable to discuss this. It’s okay to give someone a 2nd chance if you really like them, meaning a guy comes back to you… people also change lol 😆

I’m stuck between dating has always sucked/been difficult vs dating is worse now/harder now. I mean people could ghost easier back in the day by never returning your phone call right? Why does it seem dating is harder now? My therapist tells me it’s the same difficulty lol

Hahah I’m glad you feel my way too! I felt something is wrong with me. It’s not a Chad thing at all- even if Chad acted this way I’d be super weary even more weary then an average guy because why is a super hot guy into me when im average? 😆

I don’t know how to describe my frustration with modern dating. On the one hand we have emotional unavailable men and on the other hand we have TOO available men. I met a guy at an event 2 days ago and yesterday he texted me non stop all day (and we already plan a date for next week..) then at 11:30 pm called me because he wanted to hear my voice and talk about my day.. it’s just a bit much too soon. I’m having my bathroom redone (long story) and the Carpenter’s name is Chad. Can confirm Chad isn’t that hot and Chad is actually kinda broke from the looks of it. Wouldn’t fuck him either also he’s lazy always shows up late to my home!
/r/PurplePillDebate14/09/21 03:33 AM

Hmm my take on it is a lot of men tend to be avoidants. They will fall in love with a girl put push her away and ghost her when they start to get feelings. I guess the women power would be when the guy reappears (and they almost always do). Then the woman has all the power to say yes or no
/r/PurplePillDebate12/09/21 08:28 PM
1

Do you also think he is depressed? This has been my observation. I also feel bad. He’s going through so much and anytime he gets close to me he pulls back. I want to talk to him about this but again don’t want to sound judgmental or clingy- I just care

/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 08:01 PM

That is true, his dad was 6”9 also and died at 79 😯
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 07:45 PM
1

Oh what are all the health affects of 6”9? yeah I don’t have data on who would get more matches 5”6 or 6”9. But this tall guy said a lot of women didn’t enjoy having sex with him due to the height differences and it broke off many relationships
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 07:40 PM
1

But there are people in The world who are 6”9 who also struggle with girls. Cut off for height I think is 6”5 that’s when it starts to become too tall
/r/PurplePillDebate17/08/21 07:38 PM

No, all my last relationships I put effort after effort to try and fix things. I even put up with a guy who called me fat- I still gave him another chance. When I break things off- I’m usually done by that point. I felt I’ve given enough chances and I’m still unhappy. I’ve never regretted a breakup When guys have ended things with me for petty reasons, they usually come back, and apologize. Some will say “he ran out of options” maybe that’s true. In my opinion, I don’t think guys think through d…
/r/PurplePillDebate09/08/21 10:48 PM

I find it really sad how people expect perfect partners. It’s one of the reasons I’ve given up on online dating. No one is Perfect and If you mesh with someone 85% you should continue to date. I’ve had guys end things with me for petty reasons like I’m too loud, yet never telling me to lower my voice. I get it I’m a loud person but if we get along In many other ways, you should just point it out and see if I’m able to fix it. I know women do this to men too- I’m a female so speaking on my own ex…

Hmm, if a guy wanted me to be completely honest on why I rejected them I would- thing is most insecure men handle the truth. I dated last year a 5”6, 35 year old who weighed 145lbs. I’m 25 and 5”5. That already made him insecure. We had sex twice and it sucked. He would lie in bed, clench his fists, and turn into a vegetable. Really it looked quite strange. The first time this happened, I told him how much of a turn off it was/ he said he would stop. We had sex a couple of days later- he did it …

Oh I guess we have different definitions of vetting haha. I used to be FDS user- they have a list of questions you should be asking. I used to do that and it would scare off guys. They claimed this is vetting since the guys are self eliminating
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 06:08 PM
1

Hmm to me vetting is going on a date with list of questions like an interview. Whenever I did that I felt I was reading reviews on Amazon and shopping. Felt unnatural. Now I try to find people I just mesh with (intelligence). Since I’m no longer going through the checklist questionnaire I could potentially find a LVM according to FDS. I’m no longer vetting so to speak

We are judging someone’s relationship based off this one call. Maybe he is an asshole but pays child support for her kids (not his), maybe his sex is so amazing, maybe his a good father. We don’t know. I’ll give you an example, my dad doesn’t cook nor knows how to. My mom cooks for my dad, cuts his food, does his laundry etc etc, because at the end of the day my dad always provided for his family. A lot of people judged my mom for putting up with a man child but at the end of the day, he gave he…
/r/PurplePillDebate01/08/21 05:52 PM

Yes! Thank you- you worded it better for me. People either 1) just want to mess around and no relationship or 2) want a relationship right away. I find there’s no nuance here. Even my friends who love the apps, love it because they can get into a relationship within 2 weeks. I am not like that, and for a while I thought there’s something wrong with me but the more I thought about it the more I think the apps just don’t mesh with my personality
/r/PurplePillDebate27/07/21 04:22 PM

Oh I’m totally with you. I hate that women do this!! I’ve had men ghost me for fear I would misunderstand, like the block button exists if you’re that scared I’d freak out… also mind you this is usually after I’ve been to their home so I have their address. If you thought I was that crazy why would you give me your home address?! Anyway I digress The real reason people ghost (I think) is they don’t know what they want and need more time to think about it. These people are commitment phobes becau…

I’m a women and have also struggled to meet decent men. at least in the PNW (where I live) a lot of the guys do have some mental health problem. Many men have had their hearts broken and become very insecure. I tend to date older men (I’m 26, date 30+) and that’s been my experience. It’s sad that girls break the hearts of these men and also sad that the men are unable to get the help they need. Almost every guy I dated had some addiction to alcohol or weed. I think it’s because I’m from Florida and Hispanic. We talk more are intrigued me. This guy was like I just would like for you to vibe and be in the moment. He isn’t the first Seattle guy to tell me that. I mean what else do we talk if we don’t ask questions? That’s totally a thing in Seattle where people hangout and don’t talk

I’m a female btw what I put up was an extreme example. Some of the stuff I read on that sub is like common sense. If a guy beats his wife like why are you giving him a chance?! People are so obtuse on that sub

First off, I think the vast majority of people don’t use that sub for dating Advice- they use it for validation. “this guy that I’ve been seeing for 3 dates told me he hit his ex wife and ended up in jail. Is that a red flag?” Half the posts are common sense red flags and the other posts are “dating is so hard. For me it’s been since November 2020, I haven’t even kissed anyone since then. I’m 26 too. I don’t like FWB since the sex always sucks the juice isn’t worth the squeeze. I want a long term relationship that leads to a marriage, so I’m waiting for the right person to have sex again. I’m currently not on any apps. I also find that a waste of time and quite depressing. Despite living in Seattle, where women have the upper hand in dating, I feel I’m still competing with women and I don’t like it. Th…

Thanks for the great explanation! Yeah I feel the apps are so forceful. And sure you could go on a date and tell the other person you want to take it slow, but that’s the thing, the first time you’re meeting this person it is a date. You’re not on the app to make friends, you’re either there to hookup, have a temporary relationship until you find you’re one, or find a husband. There’s no grey area and I feel it causes a lot of stress. I’ve also had guys ghost me due to the stress of these unexpl…

Yeah exactly! Like on the apps I feel like I’m looking for a husband. Not that I need a husband, it’s a nice to have. But on the apps it just feels so forced. You’re either looking for a hookup or a husband. It’s a means to an end and I think can create unnecessary stress

I think this post forgets to mention you are also dealing with human beings! Damn!! I’m sorry that happened to you. I really hate girls who do this!! Makes it harder for honest girls to date. I’m sure after you ended things she wanted you back too lol

I definitely agree with that. Dating apps always advertise there’s a better match around the corner! How do girls react when you tell them that?

Test
/r/PurplePillDebate13/02/21 12:15 AM

Can you do a TLDR? I would love to hear your answer !
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/21 04:05 AM
3

Hahaha I have to save that!!! It’s so true!
/r/PurplePillDebate02/02/21 03:07 AM
1

Yeah he used to play ball! He’s white
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:16 PM
2

I agree I was a little disappointed, I thought for sure he would kiss me. I thought maybe it’s the height. He’s a little bit awkward too...
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:15 PM
1

Correct. That is why we schedule a movie night for Wednesday
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:11 PM
1

How do you balance that between coming off as losing interest, by setting up a date?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:10 PM
3

Well I figured I would still see about our date on Wednesday, if he cancels then I’ll move on
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:09 PM
1

That is true. Once you plan another date, seems no point in texting everyday unless you have something to share.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:03 PM
1

So before the date I was asking him how can he kiss someone being so tall, he said he usually just lifts them up. And I said I want to test this out. He said okay yeah let’s test it out So at his house we sat on the couch, nothing happened and I asked him remember that test I wanted to try out let’s do it. He looked at the time and said that it was too late. Sundays he likes to get ready for work the next day. But we would try it next time we see each other
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:02 PM
1

Yeah it’s one of the reasons why I don’t like the early stages of dating. Texting has definitely complicated things. We use it as a gauge of someone’s interest but it’s not completely accurate.
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 09:00 PM
1

That explains a lot. So then how do you know a guy doesn’t like to text vs losing interest/ghosting?
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 08:58 PM
2

So I actually tried to make a move, he’s the one who chickened out. I was sitting on his couch and everything/ he didn’t try anything... he’s 6”8 so it’s kinda hard to kiss someone that tall. I’m 5”5
/r/PurplePillDebate24/01/21 08:57 PM

Thank you for this. Yes I’m currently in therapy and taking a year off until I heal. I hope to never put a guy through my problems ever again
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/20 06:57 AM

Thank you for this. I think that’s why I kept his number unblocked... but you’re right he doesn’t! No need to speak anymore. I’ll go ahead and block

Currently in therapy! Also taking a year off to heal

Question- in the future let’s say for whatever reason you just don’t want sex anymore How can you explain this to a man?? How can I explain to my future partner if I don’t want sex without explaining my past? Honest question Hopefully the text doesn’t sound condescending
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy28/09/20 06:43 AM

I’m currently reading the book on emotional Abusive men!!! Which is in the handbook. Starting my FDS journey

We were together for 6 months. Also I got a job to move me so I didn’t spend a dime. That job also paid me 130k salary and 80k in stocks sooooo

3 years ago when I lived in MN, I dated a guy who lived in WA. We worked in the same company and he always came to MN for work. We hooked up too and we really connected. He had no social media, only Snapchat. He also told everyone he was single. He acted weird at various times like he had some secret. I moved to WA for him and when I was here he Never wanted to see me. Well after social media investigation I found out he Had a girlfriend of 3 years, bought a house with her, and had a kid. I call…

Just out of curiosity because you have the cat, does he come to your place more vs you go to his?
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/08/20 04:20 AM
1

We had been hiking buddies for a year then dated for 2 months. That’s why I felt okay having sex with him
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/20 03:01 AM
3

How do you not take breakups personally? This guy wanted me to like him so much he was devastated I wanted to break things up despite all the fights we were getting into, especially that he had to guilt me into sex...
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/20 02:26 AM
1

He wanted to be married by next year
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/20 02:24 AM
3

What do you do if the sex starts declining after the 4th or 5th time? This happened to me with my ex. The sex just wasn’t good anymore and I didn’t want to do it anymore. He got mad at me for not wanting sex but the chemistry just faded
/r/PurplePillDebate20/08/20 02:13 AM
13

Good points. Well he kept saying this is how relationships just are. You have to spend lots of time together, have sex often, and sleepover. I don’t bond that way though! I bond over activities. We met while Hiking and that’s what I liked about it. Also my activities usually end around 9 and he said that’s too late since he has to go to bed at 10! Also can anyone link to me the wiki with why we shouldn’t date older men?? I couldn’t find any information on it
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy20/08/20 02:12 AM
1

Exactly
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 04:04 PM
1

Honestly there have been days where I wanted to show him the red pill! He didn’t have any activities outside of work! Doesn’t go to the gym. He was always available. I think the red pill has some things right about being busy. This helps stay away from being clingy. Be hard to get. That’s what builds attraction
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 03:01 AM
1

Well a lot of his past GFs were super thin or chubby with little to no hobbies. They were really clingy and he actually hated it. That’s why he broke up with them. Oh and they even sent nudes. He started to get mad at me for NOT being like that. It worries him... but you hit the nail on the head
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:56 AM
1

I would say so. I do CrossFit, eat healthy. I’m 5”5 130
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:37 AM
1

That makes sense! He hates my politics and how many activities I have plus how I want to move out of this state. We fight so much over this so I was confused why he continues to stay with me.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:32 AM
1

Yes, especially since I would have to fly to a different state then fly to see my family. That’s a huge commitment.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:30 AM
0

He’s okay. Doesn’t work out- is 5”8 and 145lbs
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:22 AM
2

Well both I don’t want to turn this into an advice post
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:21 AM
1

Yeah it’s been insane. He wanted me to fly out to PN to meet his mom this December. I told him that’s too soon to meet his mom and we got In a huge fight! He wants to propose next year and me not meeting his mom this year would ruin his timeline...
/r/PurplePillDebate19/08/20 02:21 AM
1

Hahah ! I thought I was going crazy! I told him in my past relationship, my ex slept over at my place Wednesday’s and it worked out. This guy wants me to sleepover Saturdays when I have soccer and other activities Sundays! I told him what worked last time and he said nope for the reasons I told you above, and that I need to compromise 😳
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 04:21 AM
2

I tried that. This guy didn’t like coming to my place because 1) I don’t have AC. He does and he can’t handle anything above 70. 2)he doesn’t like my cat meowing at night and being all over the house.... so I had to drive over to his place all the time then leave. He said in relationship I need to compromise is that so?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 04:18 AM
1

Oh yeah I agree but usually after sex I would just leave for exactly the reasons you listed haha
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 04:15 AM
2

So you only slept over when you guys had sex?
/r/PurplePillDebate18/08/20 04:11 AM
3

Thank you everyone who commented!!! I was out hiking unfortunately with my boyfriend at the time. Today I’m spending a day with my girl friend and think it’s the best time to send a text and block so I will do just that. Hopefully everything goes as smoothly as it can !
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy16/08/20 04:19 PM

My current salary is 129k and I live in Seattle where there’s bidding wars all the time. I think I will be okay
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/20 03:25 PM

Wow, that was depressing but true at the same time. I just bought a 425k condo at 25. My parents were SO happy yet I felt nothing. I kept saying “maybe in a few weeks I will feel that something.” Never really came and I think your post hit the nail on the head Yeah you’re totally right about the stupid stuff. If I’m the only one sober, it will def make people uncomfortable. Like I have some sort of blackmail on them now
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/20 05:05 AM

What’s wrong with not drinking and getting drunk? Is this some sort of rite of passage I’m missing out on?

Will add now
/r/PurplePillDebate23/07/20 04:30 AM

Hmm I’m in the PNW. So maybe that explains it. The dark and gloom for half the year can make people feel depressed lol

Wow!!!! Thank you for sharing this story. I’m so sorry you had to go through this!!! What a crazy physco guy!!!! That is nuts!!! But your words of encouragement are great. You went through something very horrible and made it out ok and smarter!! The same thing will happen to me. This will pass!

Oh good point I meant fortunately
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy13/07/20 02:38 AM
3

Good point. Yeah he’s posting his activities, food, and then not you? Seems weird. Or as I’ve had it in the past, he’s post “me” but it’s not a good image. For example, I used to hike with my ex, and he would post the backside of me (da eff) and then not even tag me on the photo. I told him I would like a nice “couple” picture. So we took a selfie together, and he posted it, along with 6 other pictures we took that day! No mention of me or tagging on this selfie too. It makes me look like I’m ju…

i had a guy who wanted to do this once... i wasn't comfortable with the idea. can you explain why you like to take pics? i want to understand this better

thanks. for one this is my 2nd year living in the PNW, it's hard being by myself. i am trying hard to make friends and have other types of relationships but i still feel very lonely at times :( i think that explains a lot of my self esteem. I'm not sure how to feel confident 100% when i spend a lot of hours by myself. i live in my 2 bed condo with just my cat lol . my parents visit me quite a bit but still i do want a partner.. maybe one day! but yes i agree time to move on so maybe one day i ca…

hahah i know every sub always says "well did you have the talk?" I'm so happy FDS puts that back on the guy. i hate feeling like i have to be the one doing EVERYTHING. its a 2 way street men should be able to communicate... that being said you're right i don't owe him anything.. time to block goodbye!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy18/05/20 11:12 PM
19

thanks for the feedback... thats honestly what i was thinking too. just to ghost but then i thought is ghosting bad? haha but its not MY job to communicate EVERYTHING... and even thinking about having to have a breakup talk was... pissing me off lol.. block is better

how can anyone sleep with 16 people?????? that just seems so... weird
/r/PurplePillDebate19/04/20 06:27 PM

The guys that ghosted me where 6s, at best. I lowered my standards to be with these guys, and they ghosted me thinking they could find something better. No need in staying in a relationship out of desperation
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/20 09:05 PM

I’ve had so many guys ghost me in my life lol. Maybe I’m LV to them. But it’s really not that hard unless you have a scarcity mindset
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/20 07:13 PM
4

Wow- I actually agree with something on PPD. A lot of men I’ve talked to where “scared” to date but wanted all the benefits of a girlfriend. I never understood that. Just put a title on it- and if things don’t work out, you can end it. I’m not going to be doing girlfriend crap for you while being a FWB, that’s for a low value women. Usually these men come crawling back, telling me about relationship trauma and how they can’t trust etc etc. It’s really not that hard. If you end up with a crazy pe…
/r/PurplePillDebate04/02/20 06:47 PM

I agree with this. The times I moved “fast” is because I cared more about status then the other person. They could sense it and would drop like flys. I think the slower the better IME
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/20 07:40 PM
8

I like that! Sometimes I’ve gotten into that mindset “oh I could do better” but if it never ends you will just end up alone. You have to combat it
/r/PurplePillDebate01/02/20 06:04 PM
41

I never give them 2nd chances. Most of them just message me, apologizing for their behavior. I take it as a compliment but at the same time it bothers me a bit. I don’t like how men think they can get hotter women. Like just Stay and life would be a lot easier!!!
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/20 05:58 PM
80

Why can’t they appreciate what they have though? I’m not gonna lie it upset me when men do this because I’m not going to wait for you. The bus has left. You can’t have FOMO or think the grass is always greener when you’re a 6/10.
/r/FemaleDatingStrategy01/02/20 05:49 PM
4

I think it’s wanna be chads. Most of these guys have dad bods/ beer bellies. Usually what scares them off is I want more of a commitment before sex they don’t like it. Also I live in a city where there’s 2 guys for 1 women. So women can be more selective, that leaves a lot of guys dry so they come back to me.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/20 07:11 PM

I dated a guy like this once. He didn’t like when I texted him, called him, told him about my day etc. one day I told him it’s over, but his fragile ego he was like “IM ENDING IT” Go right ahead lol so anyway I ended up blocking this dude (I don’t believe In 2nd chances) and 2 weeks later this dude sent me a 2 page letter IN THE MAIL begging me back 😂 I just don’t get it!! This isn’t the first time this crap has happened to me. I’m In great shape, 24, making 128k. And these dudes are like omg If…

Most of these guys I meet in real life- I don’t do online dating. Things seem to be going fine then they ghost me after then 3rd or 4th date. 2-3 months later they come back, wanting a 2nd chance, I say no but then they get mad at Im turning them down. Maybe upset that I didn’t want to be an option? But then these same guys complain That they are single when they had someone willing to commit. So I thought for a second, maybe I should be giving out 2nd chances? Maybe I’m doing something wrong bu…

No this happens to me all the time though and then these guys wonder why they are single when they broke up with me! So I don’t understand the logic
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/20 05:51 PM

But even when I was acting low value I still attracted Low value guys. I don’t get pumped and dumped since I’ve always followed the 3 month rule. So it saved me a lot of pain in that regard

I’m the same way. I used to be the “nice” girl and that go me no where. Plus I tried WAY too hard. Always reaching out to the guy first. So I started applying FDS, and actually started getting more guys! Even now, with my current boyfriend I am making him wait. Sex is pretty painful for me due to my body and I want to be with someone who understands this. Yes- and a lot of it is growing up in a religious family where STDs are shamed. what i mean by this is lets say, i followed everything correctly- my partner cheats and i still end up with an STD- my family would view me as undesirable. obv i don't have to share it with them but its what i've grown up in- so I need to retrain my brain type of thing

Thanks for your reply! Yeah I could’ve sent something. I probably was overthinking it. Having been a stage 5 clinger (literally doing those texts you said haha embarrassing but true) I think I did a 180, being a bit too cold. I want to make sure I keep the happy medium. The longest I’ve ever been with a guy, is with this guy. And it’s because I actually chilled out a bit and started creating distance/ not being a text freak. Hmm- I can see your point of view. I don’t think I would do that, especially since I value my career. Anything to jeopardize it would kill me. For this reason, I don’t even drink or go out to bars: maybe a little bit “crazy” but your reputation is all you have. It does sadden me that you’ve been through crazy times. I can see why some men have trust issues

usually when i talk to guys 24-29 they are insecure that i make more money then them. happens all the time. i decided to go for guys who already have a decent salary so 128k doesn't seem like a big deal

i haven't had many boyfriends- just one in college which didn't last. a lot of guys think it's a "red" flag that I haven't had a long relationship (college one lasted 4 months). i think guys try to find red flags for everything. if a girl has too many relationships = bad if you she has to few = also bad. so women can't really win lol
/r/PurplePillDebate04/01/20 04:24 PM

every guy i've talked to has always come back to me- so it seems strange that they "think" they can get a better women- don't then come back to me lol. Im not saying i am the greatest thing ever but it is annoying guys do this. maybe FOMO?

Wow I really like that analogy! I feel like he has more value just because he has a girlfriend! Plus, at the time of the affair, I wasn’t in a great place. Just graduated college, had debt, was new in the job, lived away from my family- and here comes “great” guy to save me. He was good with money, owned a house. While I felt like a loser not having my life together. Now I used this horrible experience to better myself. I got a super high paying job, I’m making friends, hiking, skiing etc but th…

Thank you for your comment!!! ⭐️ I was the other person 2 years ago and found out this guy had a girlfriend of 3 years, brought a house with her and got her pregnant, now had a 1 year old son. I was “in love” with this guy (looking back I think I was being delusional and lost a lot of my dignity). I begged for him at the time to be with me. Yeah I think that’s what I’ve concluded. For him to cheat for as long as he did- it can’t be that great of relationship. I think she will find out the truth if she hasn’t already.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/12/19 04:03 PM

Wow are you serious? How did she find out? I think that’s one reason I don’t want to tell. I’m still hurt from everything and I would be telling her in hopes they break up. If I tell her and they get married I feel like I lose if that makes sense

I’m not punishing anyone. What about my needs, what if I like to have an emotional bond with someone before I sleep with them?? And feel safe and secure? What if the hookups SUCKED and I don’t like putting out so fast?

Look, I got an STD 2 years ago, and it was a horrible experience for me. It’s not like I slept with a ton of guys. I slept with 2 people total and one unprotected and boom I got an STD. My faith Has helped me get through that tough time. There’s a reason the church Teaches monogamy and a condom is not enough to protect against oral and handjob STDs. After this mistake, I decided to WAIT until a relationship. Is it fair that I’m making a guy wait when I slept with 2 other people? Well the 2 guys …

Marriage is a long wait, that’s why i would like relationship. It’s somewhere in the middle. I’m not a causal person and can’t see myself sleeping around with guys. I had an STD before when I slept casually one time. Sure protection might have helped but i realized there’s a reason the church wants people to wait for marriage- it’s about having one partner
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 05:41 PM

Right I got and STI and now I don’t want sex unless I’m in a relationship and the partner is clean. I think that’s fair.

Dating meaning boyfriend and girlfriend

So a couple of months ago I dated a guy, with a title for 2 months. We had sex and it sucked. We try to work things out but both of us weren’t feeling and we both called it quits. If the sex isn’t good, I think it’s okay to break things off.

Okay I’ll send you my offer letter. I work as a PM
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 05:10 PM

Right, I don’t sleep with men unless we are dating, and since I’m struggling to find a boyfriend my body count is pretty low lol

Usually they are willing to be exclusive, but then I tell them it’s too late
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:54 PM

Thanks for the honest reply. I appreciate it. I have been Working on listening more. Sometimes I talk too much and make it seem like my life is really put together. I think guys struggle to have a real connection with me because everything is a smokescreen but then they attracted to me so they come back

Sex is important no doubt about it, but I’m not going to risk my health to sleep with a guy. Way too many STDs out there for my comfort level. I hope, that a guy feels physically attracted to me, and wants to sleep with me but also understands I don’t want him sleeping with other women if I’m giving him what he wants. And it’s not even about protection, if I’m giving him a blowjob and the next weekend he’s getting a blowjob from someone else- that’s disgusting and clearly He doesn’t need me. If …

Omg thanks for agreeing with me! I’m getting a lot of hate right now. I wasn’t trying to brag, just sharing my personal experience with titles
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:45 PM
2

Well if they want to have sex with me- we need to be exclusive with a title. Also it just seems weird that I’m meeting so many fuckboys in real life? Why do these guys pursue me in the first place? I’m not sleeping with anyone. Then when they beg me back they want a title... just seems weird
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:41 PM
6

How long do you usually wait? I don’t sleep with these guys either so if they want to have sex we need a title
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:39 PM
3

What’s wrong With waiting to have sex? I rather be talking to guys then sleeping around
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:38 PM
2

Yeah- I’m not sure. But then they come back actually wanting a title! So idk if they wanted to hookup with other women then date me after?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:37 PM

I usually ask after 4 weeks and no sex unless we are dating
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:37 PM
3

So usually what happens is, they will send a text message randomly, being like hey what’s up? I usually delete their Number so I’ll say something like “who is this” Oh it’s me Steve! I brought a baseball ticket this weekend to see the Red Sox would you like to go? No thanks I have plans. You know I really messed up. I’m sorry I rejected you I was just going through so much.. etc Etc Then for a couple of weeks they will continue to reach out to me until I finally block their number. This has happ…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/11/19 04:34 PM

when he comes back from mexico and ends up actually texting me, are you saying he would be fwb material?
/r/seduction17/08/19 06:50 AM

so even if he reaches out to me when he comes back he isn't bf material?
/r/seduction17/08/19 06:45 AM

Awesome. Thank you for the guy perceptive. Not going to lie- I felt "bad" for talking to my friend today in fear that I made him uncomfortable but I realized I probably was overthinking it. On Friday he did come up to my twice at the gym, once to say hello and once more to tell me goodnight. It was a little strange but I went with it. Hopefully me talking to other guys will work. Any tips on how to make friends with guys at the gym?
/r/seduction04/03/19 01:58 AM

yeah those were his exact words! I do act like he's not there unless we literally run into each other, then I try to be friendly. Today I went upstairs and saw my friend by the weight area. I went to talk to her, he was about 5 ft away from us on the phone. I didn't make eye contact with him but I saw in the mirror, him looking at me. He ended up walking away to another area and after I left, he went back to the weights. Not sure why he walked away, maybe he didn't want me to hear his phone call…
/r/seduction04/03/19 01:38 AM

that's what he actually told me. he hates talking on the phone. i didn't think it was a big deal. that's been my plan so far is just to not text him and keep avoiding him at the gym
/r/seduction04/03/19 01:23 AM

it sucks we go to the same gym, anytime I see him i feel like he uses it against me for clinginess
