Female INTJ here. Shocked that I don’t see others in this thread.

How specific would a good answer need to be? Genuinely curious.

I would know this by being in proximity to this person and seeing how they interact with others. I see a lot of us autistic people saying we have empathy, and I don’t deny that but NT people need proof that manifests in a way they understand. Seeing someone sad because of some verbal faux pas we made may make us feel awful on the inside, but how would they know if our facial expressions don’t change? Or we don’t say “I’m sorry” with the right inflection or timing? Personally, my longest delay wa…

Understandable. Accurate language that acknowledges edge cases is very verbose, so to save time, people make generalizations, and (neurotypical) people usually understand there may be people it doesn’t apply to—either by being that exception to the rule or knowing someone that is. For example, “humans walk on two legs” is broadly accepted as true but we know about many exceptions, yet don’t take the time to acknowledge each one. But to you (and the people who went down this comment thread), I po…

Autism is a multidimensional spectrum. Not all autistic people are deficient socially or linguistically, but when people use the word to describe someone, it usually defers to severe impairment and lower functioning people on the spectrum. Not all of my comments apply to everyone. Also, your life experiences don’t cancel out mine, and mine don’t cancel out yours. Edit: small clarification, not sure how helpful

Not all is hopeless, but I always punctuate my algorithms with a caveat: You can do all of the above and still not get the girl. You must make peace with this. For anyone reading, my DMs/chats are open for algorithmic dating advising (for a while). I can't promise that I'll respond quick, but I like writing about these things as you can see.

You exposed that you're biased in a way which sounds suspiciously feminist in nature, because you're talking about "emotional labour", "never being held accountable", "trouble communicating feelings". I don't think I even need to expand on the fact that those are red flags in the context of you trying to teach an autistic man how to date. In regards to feminism, I do agree that women deserve financial freedom and bodily autonomy, but I don't agree with its modern execution. I refer to myself as …

From a previous comment of mine: Tl;dr I tried to create custom algorithms for my autistic friends, but some people are so far gone that you need to tell every brain cell when to jump. That’s not practical. I’m mostly blue pill, but as an autistic woman (high-functioning), I don’t agree with how the advice is delivered. My special interests are world building and human behavior. Blue pill advice is not directly actionable with defined tangible results. When autistic guys ask “how do I get a girl…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
