I am beaming with pride right now. Thank you for /u/redpillschool for picking up the ball after I semi disappeared, and giving many men an outlet for their self improvement. You are the man First - a little bit of background. I started my first #NoNothingNovember 2 years ago. I jacked off too much, smoked too much weed and consumed too much media. I was dying a slow death. After a very trying month, I learned a lot about myself - my strengths, my weaknesses, how my mind works - I grew to become …

I agree with your assertion that just changing clothes and hygiene is aiming too low. That's not the point. the point is that doing those things is incredibly easy and can boost you in the eyes of the opposite sex. It's as close as the fabled internet marketing "one weird trick that gets instant results" as you can get. Maybe some context would also help. I'm in the tech game. I see people around me make money and make plans to rule the world via their apps, platforms and ideas. I also see the s…

This isn't an official entry since I organized the damn thing - but I just wanted to use my blog as an example My Blog - Kid Strangelove Entries: My Goals - No Smoking, No Bad Food, No Slacking Day 1-3 No Slacking Day 10 - A Bump in the road is not a roadblock Day 14 - You're Not Alone Conclusion In the end - it wasn't about the discipline, but about community and peace. wanted to chime in here since I've recently discussed this with friends and on my blog. Look at it this way - be yourself is great advice.... if you've already found yourself and are secure in who you are. I am far from the typical "alpha male" perception that people aspire to be. I can't recall the last time I wore a suit, as my day to day wardrobe consists of novelty T-shirts, sneakers and a Brooklyn Nets hat. I wear hipster glasses. I lift, but can't manage a cut in my life, so I've never had…

What helped me was Crossfit - helped clear my head, helped me focus, helped me relax. A lot of people advocate working out - this just takes it to a level few have experienced

I've done Molly maybe 3 times, each 6 months to a year apart from the last time. I just remember really enjoying it because it made me feel naturally loving - I wanted to give everyone a hug, and be super positive. And I realized - while inducing these feelings was artificial - I was actually capable of feeling that positive - from then on it was a mental exercise to recreate that wonderful feeling

I'm wondering - do you have any gym bros? The thing that makes sticking to a workout hard for many people is the fact that its a lonely, isolated activity. Shit - that's why I like my Crossfit gym - it's also very social.

Good luck man! We are here to help if you need anything. For the junk food challenge - watch your snacking - I don't know how your life is - but have some apples or something on you because snacking is where people usually break their food habits. just make sure you don't end up spending hours on TRP as well :) you know what really helps with the media stuff? Talking to people, and telling them straight up about the no media challenge. "Hey, so I'm doing this thing with my friends where we avoid all media for a month, but I hate being uninformed, so as corny as this sounds - what's new in the world?"

2 and 3 are harder than they seem, but both have the same solution - other fun, rewarding activities. Go play pool, or to a basketball game, or watch homeland - ANYTHING to avoid slipping into a default mode. Positivity sometimes needs to be worked on. With point 3 - learn to give yourself intermittent rewards, and know that it's absolutely ok to enjoy yourself. Curious - have you ever tried E/Molly?

Take it from me - since herb was part of my #NoNothingNovember last year - its one of those vices you need to give a big going away party to. Smoke yourself retarded before the 1st - that way you won't notice the first few days, and by that point you'll hopefully dive head first into the good habits you want to replace your bad ones with!

wow, thats a big undertaking - good luck. It gets a LOT easier if you find a good behavior to replace a bad one - a good book, a workout, and some much needed relaxation or wind down time. The chans and reddit are very "twitch" behaviors, may I suggest deleting the related apps from your phone?

After making the initial post, I browsed around some sites, and assembled a blog post of other publications with their "hard hitting coverage". http://www.kidstrangelove.com/2014/08/29/the-rotherham-child-sex-abuse-scandal-and-the-american-media-coverage-in-pictures/ TL;DR version: Jezebel, Gawker, Buzzfeed, Slate, Vice, Feministing, and Upworthy have nothing on the topic. Hey man, first of all, congratulations on your self improvement, seriously - you deserve some praise for that. Here's the thing dude - if you were brought up in today's world - you were brought up in an environment of the female imperative. There's just no way around it - from birth we were all taught, for lack of a better term - "men bad, women good". This, combined with what we see on TV - always putting women on a pedestal, "courting", etc, teaches us that we have to validate ourselves throug…

Hey everyone - I'm the guy that wrote the post - thank you so much for the incredible feedback:) The idea just sort of came together and made sense, since it seems to describe so many different facets of male/female interaction. Just don't forget the conclusion that my friend made - be the shit. When you're on the positive side of that equation - you can do no wrong in a woman's eyes. I hope you guys enjoy the rest of the blog:)

This x100. This book takes on some of the issues of self esteem and identity that men face. It was written by an expert psychologist and really goes deep. Hey man, glad you liked the top 10. Actually this movie is fantastic. It's hard to discuss this movie without spoiling it, but lets just say the commercials don't do it justice. Some make it seem like a movie about porn addiction. Another recent trailer makes it seem like a guido romcom. It's neither, and far from it It really presents a no bullshit look at sex, relationships, growth, etc. it's filled with Red Pill concepts and doesn't carry the stereotypical Hollywood ending. Sorry dude but your assumption was incorrect. In fact …

Are you guys serious? Only in fiction do we still have stories where the good guys triumph, and these stories give us hope. Yes, I know we all came to TRP because one or several girls broke our heart by dating the "bully" even though we were all the "nice guys" that society said we should be. Yeah, it sucks, I have my fair share of friendzone stories. The comments to this so far display a total lack of emotional intelligence. While the article is gross to read, i'm pretty sure that it's "right", in a sense. But what does this behavior remind you of? Pussy whipped "niceguys" and "beta providers"? It should, because this is the devastating effect of China's one child policy. There are about 50 million, yes 50 million more men than women in china because of the one child policy. If you have one child in china - it was preferable to have a male because of societal traditions, taking care of the elderly, etc. Many women m…

This is seriously the best news I've heard all day. Justice is served indeed. This is a huge blow to the awful brand of "Tumblr Feminism" that never faces consequences. If a black man shows up to a NAACP meeting looking, talking and behaving in every negative black stereotype that exist, and then claiming to be one of them and a backer of the NAACP cause, he would immediately get a stern talking, maybe an ass kicking, but some NAACP members would definitely set him straight before he does damage…

Ok first of all - forget SRS. They're bullies. My friends and I have always discussed the difference between feminists and "feminists". Feminists are focused on making this a better world for everyone. Their primary concerns include fighting the abuse of women all over the world by crazy religious fuckwits and crazy female circumcision fuckwits, etc (example here - http://imgur.com/r/atheism/o8ot1 ). I was a BEAST at online dating, so let me help you out. First of all - as a fun experiment I once created a girls profile on OkCupid to see what people were sending, here is what really stood out to me - a lot of messages, like yours are really short. Hot girls will receive a LOT of messages every day, especially when they first sign up, so when you look through your messages you will eventually get a bit bored by 1-2 sentence emails. some wont even read them, they just open them, glance at them…

Go out with friends and just be like Rajon Rondo - set up the play and dish the rock. and remember - this is not a "skillset" or something that you practice, it's who you are and what you can bring out. Just because you didn't "practice an opener" for a week doesn't make you a better or a worse man. My recommendation, besides hooking your friends up and avoiding hard closes (so there is no trap) is to also continuously work on yourself in the relationship.
