Well, yes and no. Mostly no. It has a solid grain of truth but let me explain, why the idea in itself is wrong... This is something that I do a lot when going out. They are nice with the girl with the hopes of getting her. That's manipulation. Also, their true self is not only not nice, but entitled ("You should go out with me, since I'm so nice!"), probably also clingy (since they have few opportunities) and a doormat (would do anything to appear nice for the girl). There was this documentary about a women dressed up as a man doing differrent activities. When talking to a woman she/he was rejected hard. After explaining that it was just an experiment, the other woman felt the need to apologize for being so rude to (now clearly) another woman. If anybody has a link, what movie I saw there, it would be a great help :)
