A 10% drop in rape... seems generous at best. I believe I've covered that rape is done by sociopaths, and there have been many studies done on rapists showing that they are serial rapists. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say there was a 10% drop in rape. I can name 100 other factors that would reduce rape, the best factor being the police catching rapists. To say that a shame campaign has managed to somehow strike a chord in the hearts of people who have zero empathy, is at best will…

Let the debate begin! I am willing to listen to arguments about the existence of a rape culture, as I am not particularly in the mainstream side of our culture. I want you to first define rape culture for us, and make arguments for its existence. You will find 90% of us are nice people, but we will ask you to prove with logic and not a single anecdote or otherwise flimsy argument. Feel free to even argue that there is a "rape culture" within cultures we are not privy to. We will listen, we will …

It's not very hard, it's just easier to lie to yourself. It's easier to settle.

I'll argue with you because why the hell not right? This creature lacks both empathy and the ability to self reflect. Not only that she clearly enjoys doing so. What makes her life have intrinsic value? She lives how she was taught, does not contemplate her actions, and relishes in causing abuse. You could not stop me from killing this woman with my bear hands. I see no redemption. I see only an infection that needs to be snuffed out. It's one thing to steal, without causing harm. It's another t…

People wonder why we have monsters in this world. Monsters are made. In dark places full of fear, and everyday they feed off that terror until they become terrifying. I suppose I'm still human because my desire to hurt this woman is still less than my desire to scoop the little ones up in my arms. God damnit watching this hurts. Am I the only one crying?

There is nothing moral about forcing someone to sustain someone else. Morals stop where force begins. All that is is subdued violence. If you want to make an argument that society as a whole should be willing to step up to the plate and help children, I can sorta get behind that. You're placing the needs of the child above those of the NON biological father, which is flat out amazing to me. you marginalize him. You shackle him. let's say the OP gets married has a kid or two with this woman then …

There's nothing wrong with unwinding with a glass. There's nothing wrong with a little tipsy, that faint buzz that makes a hard day feel worth it. There's something fucking wrong with drinking to the point of a hangover, not being responsible, and not being in a condition to take care of your offspring. Good lord that isn't a nag. A nag is someone who tells you when you come home how hard it is for her to make ends meet with your shitty salary, how you've put on 5 lbs, how she can't wait for you…

You really need to do some research on how much death penalties actually cost a tax payer. Honestly, I'd rather lock them up and throw away the key. No parole. Never. The debt of a life is something that one can never atone for.

You aren't a victim. You threw yourself again and again into something horrible. For some reason, you felt you needed her. You felt some misplaced sense of loyalty to someone just because you "loved her". That wasn't love. That was dependence. Seperate those in your mind. And keep reading this, because guess what... We've all done this. Multiple times. Way too damn much. I'm not looking down on you. I'm telling you what you need to hear, what we all needed to hear. You aren't healthy enough for …

Pretty condescending ain'tcha? What about intellect and gentleness pushed you to believe that I was talking sex appeal? Maybe It's just refreshing, since intellect so often goes hand in hand with manipulation, spite, and awkwardly pettiness. I find those qualities to be very endearing, qualities I'd want in a friend. I also happen to believe they are qualities in her voice that draw attention to topics presented. She was not condescending ( take notes, you desperately need a dose ) like she could…

Currently my running tally is 2, which has earned me a jaw that pops when I open too wide. On the plus side, no one ever fucks with me anymore, and everyone found out they were false in the end- one from the very outset.

NP man. Look into a vasectomy though. Some good specialist out there say they can reverse it. They also take a sample at the time so even if it all goes bad u still can science a baby. Ugh. Still can't believe how many bipolar white knights there are on this subreddit. Sorry you're catching flack but seriously if this thing happens again its all on you for not seeing it.

Are you stupid? He is put in a situation where if he doesn't stick his dick in her, she knows he doesn't love her anymore. He pulls that, she will do every manipulative thing in order to keep him including keeping this child. What he's doing isn't something to be proud of, but it's what has to be done. God I can't stand white knights like you. Gloves came off when she manipulated him, lied to him, and got pregnant in order to seal this relationship for good. She's forcing him into a life long co…

How is raising the minimum wage ever a good thing? All you're doing is forcing unskilled workers out of the work force and into the arms of government.

Probably more underlying themes. Men who bend to a demand are always seen as weak, which is usually really unattractive. Lord knows if a woman goes cold on me for more than a few days I laugh and leave her. Just because our emotional needs are expressed sexually does not make them any less important nor does it make them dirty. But, you know, the idea of loving someone and trying your damnedest to please them seems to be a foreign concept to a lot of people.

Iunno, its a chore to keep oneself from ejaculating too quickly :P I know I'll let my son decide when he's older if he wants to. Too much risk for a slip of the hand with something that young and.. immature I guess would be the best way to put it. Tbh- I guess I don't take a big issue with this, I don't see it as something worth fighting for, but I also would like people to make choices for themselves later in life.

No, I'm saying nip it in the fucking bud. And yeah I've been swooned and stalked over for multiple years, called all the time, shown up places i was going with friends, you'd be suprised what a white knight who's poetry book got into her hands would deal with in highschool. I learned how to deal with that level of crazy in college. People looking for a savoir well make you into a god, when you don't live up to that, they feel the need to completely tear you down, because well you're a false god.…

just tell him to hit the gym, get a little sun, and keep the past in the past. We've all done really fucked up things to someone somewhere, and she wins if he keeps letting this bother him. He's acting like her actions towards him are defining him. It's so utterly stupid. He needs to remind himself that shes probably just as embarrassed secretly for how she treated him. He needs to let it go. Hell, i laugh at how pathetic I was back then. Just remind him to be him, try not to step on anyones toe…

I'm the long term boyfriend. The three or four year one. I'm the one who wrote poetry, loves the arts and the sciences, is stupidly romantic and idealistic. And I've found my way into a whole lot of abusive relationships. For a long time I told myself it was my commitment, my loyalty, and my strength that kept me holding out, trying to "save the woman I loved". And I'm going to tell you that's horse shit. What kept me there was my lack of confidence and my ignorance(read: absolute stupidity) of …

While I feel for him, I don't like anyone painting secondary actions taken by them as consequences of being a victim. You're a human being, you are in control of your actions, and while yes this woman is crazy, the best thing he could have done is every time she came over just let her in sit down make some tea, and remove all emotion. Just tell her over and over again that you're sorry your intentions didn't align and that it was your fault blah blah blah. I did this four or five times and it st…

You call for sympathy, and I call your sympathy simply enabling. Nothing short of slamming that ideology into the ground as hard as we can will ever get us anywhere. It is disgusting, perverse, and shows what a complete disregard for a man's life she has. She lacks the ability to access higher brain functions in order to dutifully act with the amount of power she possesses. She is bigoted, her judgement clouded, and she runs purely on emotions. If a human being can not look at themselves, look a…

... Are you kidding me? Anyone in a position of power is held to standards equated with that power. I see no reason to see her as a person. She certainly wouldn't see me as a person if my ex girlfriend was crazy and said I raped her when I finally left her. She'd see me as an animal and her as an angel. She's not a person. I don't know what she is, maybe a broken girl with a lot of baggage and a severe need to victimize an entire gender, but a person no way.

Those are human rights issues. Somehow I don't see tattooing a toddler as something on the same scope. Hell, I don't even know whats really going on. If I saw a rape or murder or a slave, you bet you ass I'd be agreeing. But this shit? fucking really, we have zero information on whats going on.

Oh thank god, someone who understands one can not judge a culture through the morals of our own. All of you jumping to conclusions should be ashamed of yourselves for not using your brains. You know absolutely nothing, and yet you feel the need to screech like a bunch of hens...(yes that was for effect) Tattoo's have for a long time been a part of many cultures. Many rights of adulthood hinge on such ceremonies. What if this is a culture thing, and this boy doesn't have a tattoo of his family. H…

I'll be honest man I can't really fault her for her wanting you to perform better. You're not pleasing her. Have you ever made her orgasm? If there answers no, then...well... you might wanna.. iunno? Let's just reverse the situation and say it was really hard for you to orgasm. You put out and put out and put out but never climaxed, you'd probably be testy too. From my experience it take's a lot of...enrichment for a woman to be able to orgasm from penetration alone. I don't think its demeaning …

Too many boys who learned how to be a victim instead of how to stand tall. Too many boys throwing temper tantrums over their own stupidity leading to inevitable conclusions. Too many white knights being pissy over being used. Quit allowing yourselves to be used... Relationships are built off of pride. It's a status symbol. You and her are with eachother because you both feel proud to earn the respect of the other..

I'm sorry, the comics a little dark, but has no feminist connotations. I'm not buying

So I looked at the comic, after reading what was written. Many of you really just look for things to get pissy over don'tcha? The guy sits down, sneezes, and coughs all over her. What about this is so steeped in feminist propaganda? The comic itself surely wasn't. Now if the comic had ended with "disgusting self entitled rapist.." then we might have an argument. And that argument would be "two wrongs don't make a right." It is astonishingly rude to sneeze all over someone and not immediately apo…

I don't know about you, but I'm fairly certain every man here has their dick attempting to usurp them. All I know is that I feel like my sex drive is one of the few things I keep on an iron clad chain that's pinned 10 feet in the earth and beaten into submission every day. It can cloud my judgement, ruin relationships that I've fostered for years, and leave me feeling like a disgusting animal. I pride myself on that discipline. I think every good man does too. my two cents.

I guess it's time to call it like I see it.. We're guys. While this is a little over the top, can we please get our panties unbunched. We should remained focused on real issues... instead of our "feelings". Let's not fall into the well of self misery and victimization feminism has. We are not victims. We are advocates for human equality. If you're just an attention seeking male with hurt feelings and a nasty case of hate for women because oh no you got burned... join the club every human being i…

I'm going to make an argument here. While I won't tolerate being talked down to for watching porn, I will make a few points. I'm one of those people who will completely give up my privacy to my SO. I will stop watching porn ( given enough... we'll say material? :P ) and throw her my phone every day and let her look through everything, as long as she is willing to do the same. Is there anything innately wrong? In my eyes aren't you simply making eachother feel more secure? All I know is I am the …

Perfectly consistent... Okay social scientist, meet real scientist- aka me. I want you to show me that rape has no trends- meaning that during certain times of the year rapes tend to happen more frequently. Secondly I want the raw data. Let me see how many rape cases there were, if we're talking about a very small number 10% decrease could be somewhere in the neighborhood of 3 or 4 cases. Thirdly, Correlation does not equate causation, and any DECENT scientist knows this. I pound my data into th…
