Equality is great, and should be the ultimate goal, however, at the moment if you created a Men's Studies department in a university, it would essentially be an attachment of the feminist one. Gender segregation is crappy, but unless feminism becomes egalitarianism in action as well as title, it would be almost impossible to do. Many feminists themselves don't understand this, and that's why you have them screaming at men's rights groups to shut up and have feminism do the thinking for them.
