What were you doing in the women's bathroom? Looking for a stupid reason to be mad? Use your time more wisely and you might be a happier person. Only you can control your happiness. If you go looking for things to be upset about you'll always be angry. Should stalls have doors? Probably. Is it a big men's rights issue? Hardly

Those are urinals. Lots of public bathrooms don't have stalls or dividers for urinals. These dividers are actually better than most. OP probably didn't take a pic of the other side where the shitters actually have doors. Fake outrage

Find a good male role model as early in life as possible (a coach, a teacher, an uncle, etc) and maintain strong male friendships throughout life. Edit: to expand on this, a young, fatherless boy may not know they need this so don't seek it out. They may even resent their father for not being around (whether it's the father's fault or not), and by extension other men. It's up to us as men to recognize when a boy needs a role model and step up. This should be easy for men who are teachers, coache…

Do you truly believe that everyone pro-life in r/MensRights take this political stance purely out of vindictiveness, hatred towards the fairer sex? No, and I even said as much. I understand some people may have moral/religious objections to abortion, and while I disagree I at least have some sympathy for that point of view But look at the other longer reply chain to my comment. That guy is making no moral case for banning abortion, only whining about how women get to do stuff and men don't, and …

Not mutually exclusive opinions? Nowhere in this thread did I defend the status quo for how current family law is handled. And nowhere did I claim men are fairly treated, in fact I said the opposite. Also what you've linked to is entirely irrelevant to this comment chain. This is about the legality if abortion. What happened to the boy in this article is despicable and unfair. Also forcing women to carry babies they don't want to term is unfair. 2 different subjects, bro. I was responding to som…

A bacteria can live by itself though. A zygote is still dependent on its host, the mother, in order to survive. They want abortion as contraception instead of an unfortunate thing that sometimes must be done. This simply isn't true. That would be the most expensive contraception ever. Even plan B is too expensive for most people to use regularly. Women aren't going in for monthly abortions in place of using contraception

Eh, I'm the only one here actually advocating for men's rights in this thread. I'm sure they'll overlook it. This is r/mensrights after all. It's your comments that actually reflect poorly on this sub and MRAs in general

Go ahead and block me, you're not making any sense anyway. You're contradicting yourself from 2 days ago.
/r/MensRights06/09/21 02:14 AM

Conversing isn't spamming Looking at your post history you literally made the same argument I'm making in a different sub 2 days ago. So I'm not sure what your beef with my point is? Is it because I dared imply women aren't the devil? You just hate women. It takes as much work to make the change in favor of men as it does to take women's rights away to "get even". It just takes men advocating FOR ourselves (like the purpose of this sub) instead AGAINST women. But I'm clearly talking to a wall. Y…

You don't read well do you? I'm advocating for giving men second chances like as you say, women already have. You instead think no one should get second chances because you're a pious prick. We both agree there's a problem, we disagree on how to solve it. Why punish everyone when we can instead give everyone EQUAL freedoms? (Can't wait to how you misinterpret this comment)
/r/MensRights06/09/21 01:28 AM
2

I'm literally advocating for equality. You want to control and punish women and their unwanted kids. Punishing women and taking away their choice is not how we fix the problem of men getting screwed over. Giving men a fair way out is the solution. Two wrongs don't make a right. I'm not on any feminist subs. I'm just not a woman and child hating pig

He said elsewhere this is the second time. I really don't have any sympathy for anyone here except the kid. OP needs to man up and pay up. He did it once before and didn't learn. We can talk about reforming family law in a different discussion

So it's clear your motivation for wanting to outright ban abortions is vindictiveness, not morality. Probably just jealousy that other people actually have sex lives. Also thats not at all what I said but go ahead and put words in my mouth. I believe men should be able to opt out of being a parent before the child is born and not pay child support. If they agree, however, to being a father then they are equally responsible for the child's well being for life. Having a child should be a unanimous…

While I agree reproductive rights and family law are fucked and stacked against men, the answer is not to punish the innocent children or the women who made a mistake (or again, got raped) either. You realize we all collectively pay child support for unwanted children that become a burden on society right? Women don't use abortion like taking Tylenol after a night of heavy drinking. They do it because they either don't want a baby, or can't properly take care of one, or can't afford the toll it …

Aside from your barbaric thinking that women should be punished for 18 years + for making a mistake (or getting raped or coerced), the real victim is a child being born to parents who never wanted it. But you probably think you're pro-"life". Edit: you people are insane. Can you seriously not put 2 and 2 together? Men are victimized by unwanted pregnancy by being forced into child support and basically no parental rights (should the mother wish) for 18 years. Women are victimized by unwanted pre…

Posts like this make me want to unsub from here. I'm a man. I joined here because I do believe men's issues are often forgotten or overlooked. This... is not one of them. There is no barrier to men becoming nurses. There are fewer male nurses because men desire the job less. It really is that simple. If you want to be a nurse no one is stopping you because because you're a man. There are plenty of real issues. Quit making them up to feel like a victim. It makes us look bad

Yup, bisexual, heteroromantic here. I guess i would also say I am a "super bi" if thats a thing. Obviously I like both genitalia, but I prefer my men to be natural men, and my women to be natural women. I'm not interested in surgically rebuilt parts or pretending your parts are actually the opposite of what I'm looking at. I also dont like fake tits on otherwise cis straight women. Does that make me a bigot against women with body issues? I'm sure soon that type of person will have their own sex…

Agreed re: women/dating. Nothing but ultra liberal feminist/SJW type women. Not to mention the tech industry has really thrown off the male/female ratio in terms of available singles. Great place to live if you're outdoorsy and have lots of active hobbies. Bad for dating and spinning plates

Just shave your head and be done with it. I went bald at a young age (noticeably balding by 21) and it was hard to accept at first but I got over it. Now I haven't paid for a haircut in over 13 years, women love massaging my bald head, and i grow a damn nice beard (if I do say so myself) which women love Look at the positives, not the negatives. So I can't relate to what you've been through. Nothing like that ever happened to me. But I am a recovering alcoholic/drug addict and I know what it's like to have your self esteem be completely in the toilet - non existent. One thing that has stuck with me for years, that I heard from a former sponsor of mine, is: "To improve your self-esteem, perform estimable acts." You can't undo what has been done to you. This beginner's personal finance advice. In advanced class, you'll learn that some debt is OK to carry (almost never CC debt, though). Granted, OP probably isn't ready for this advice yet if he's looking at ~$4k cars, but eventually when you're looking at 20/30/40+ thousand dollar cars - with good credit - you can get a really low rate, which you can then use that extra money to invest and make much more return on investment than that 0-2% interest payment. Then there's mortgages - very few peop…

Let's wait to pass judgment until she actually tries to take him for all he's worth. This post is just a dissatisfied woman woman venting. For now, she's even with her husband and they have shit to work out. Again, I stress that this is not an appropriate post on this sub. As of this time, it's irrelevant to what this sub is about
/r/MensRights01/03/20 11:44 PM

She doesnt mention divorcing him or trying to take his money. This sub is about men's rights as a whole. Shit like this just waters it down and makes us look petty. Let's focus on real issues instead of one cherry-picked example of a woman expressing her feelings. Just because the cards are stacked against us doesn't mean women don't have autonomy to make their own decisions. This sounds like an extremely broken relationship that has nothing to do with men's rights, and everything to do with a g…

My current main plate (28) rides motorcycles and she actually has skills and rides a big boy bike (Triumph Street Triple) instead of like an R3 or some baby bike. First girl I've ever ridden with that wasn't butch and/or rides like a pussy. I'd promote her if I wasn't so opposed to LTRs. They exist, but if you're chasing college girls 18-23 it's pretty rare. I go full bic + medium length beard myself. You have a good shaped head for it so yeah, this is a perfect style for you. Give a razor shave a try. Its super easy once you get the hang of it. A basic cartridge razor works fine, just don't skimp on the shaving cream. Good quality cream is key to not irritate your scalp, and if you're traveling around places where you might not have electricity, you can still do it. I shave mine every other day in the shower. Therapists aren't always BP. The whole reason i found TRP and the l manosphere was because of my therapist. Now he didn't recommend TRP directly, but he had me read No More Mr Nice Guy as well as The Subtle Art of not Giving A Fuck. Through reading those and researching their authors and related books I found my way here. And this therapist was a ~65 yr old homosexual man. RP truths come from all kinds of places. But mostly from older, experienced men, even if they happen to be gay. They have ex…

Have a similar story. Had an ex who I was with for 2+ years. She would smack me in the nuts because it was "funny" despite me telling her its not a joke and it hurts a lot (one time I even puked because of the pain). The one time I ever "laid hands on her" was when we were in an argument in our bedroom. After stating multiple times I wanted to leave the room and be alone for a while she still blocked the doorway to not allow me to leave. As I tried to push past her to leave she grabbed on to me …

I lean mostly liberal (which I understand isn't popular around here, I'm a big mens rights activist, but find universal health care to be biggest issue facing Americans), so i mostly support local politicians who I agree with and volunteer my time to do so. I mean, being stuck in BP ways even if its "working" for you can still be described as being a loser. I spent my 20's in and out of relationships as a "serial monogomist" and couldn't figure out why I kept getting cheated on and screwed over. It wasn't til I saw a therapist who recommended I read No More Mr Nice Guy (ironically, therapist was an older gay man, but correctly diagnosed me as a "nice guy"). After reading that book I found TRP. That was when I was 31 yrs old. For the last two years …

Except not really the same reasons. As a man I pay higher insurance by default, without even being given a chance to prove I'm a good driver (I understand that actuaries have done a lot of research and proven that men, especially young men, are riskier drivers, but this doesn't negate my point). Women are not charged more up-front by their banks, it just so happens that women, on average, are less financially responsible and that results in them paying more banking fees. They get equal opportuni…

Its ok to reuse first date ideas on new girls. If you've had a plan in the past that worked then stick with it. If youre still searching then try something new. Do what YOU want to do. If you're having fun, she will see the "best" you and that's the most important thing. My go-to's are motorcycle ride + picnic or go-kart racing. I have a blast doing these things regardless of who I'm with. Having fun means I'm in a good mood and am personable, outgoing, and fun. So... Ask yourself, what do you w…

For sure. I should clarify I don't mean an all day ride. Those are for the bros. A first date should be kept to 2 hours or less. I'm lucky enough to live in an area where I can ride to places that feel very remote and private in <30 min. So 30 min ride, picnic, and back within 2 hours. Its worked extraordinarily well for me as a first date. Even had a few f-closes on the picnic portion due to being away from the public. One option is to have some sperm frozen first and then get the snip. I've been thinking about doing this. I'm still undecided about having kids myself but this is one way you can be sure you're getting the right person pregnant when you want to. Also with advances in science it may soon become trivial to decide ahead of it you want a boy or girl if that's important to you.
