I agree with your take, excepting you didn't accommodate that there is historically material inequality between men and women and that early feminism was about women getting the same rights as men eg the right to own property, the right to vote. The kind I grew up accepting was equality feminism, the most justifiable kind imo and one also being shouted down by identitarian gender feminists today.
