I'm a girl just browsing through here every once in a while. I support men's rights -- and everyone's rights -- but when I come to this sun I definitely don't feel welcome and I can't pinpoint exactly why, but I think just men in general have a way of speaking that sounds more aggressive when you can't hear tone online. I think that's what it is. I wouldn't say sexism is a problem on this sub, but the constant focus on feminism is pretty old and annoying. I'm pretty sure users just sound aggress…

It looks like... people sitting and standing in public transportation? We have that here in New York. If for some reason you ought be referring to the only dude on the train sitting on the floor, I'd like to point out there are other women standing too, he's just choosing to sit on the floor which is fine. Do whatever. There are plenty of people here not sitting

Which is still pretty awful, no one should be in that state of fear and fear lingering about rapists isn't making it better. It's good to be informed, so we should be telling everyone how to defend themselves from all types of situations and not gender assault

Yes but we also don't just expect people to understand that murder is wrong- there's a penalty. I think there should be a big one for false accusations like this.

What do you think should be changed about it? Boys and girls learning in separate buildings or areas? I've played with that idea but I can see how easy it would be to abuse this system too.

I think suicide rates would go down a bit more if men were encouraged to seek mental help more. I'm not a guy so I don't know exactly how men deal with things like depression or low self-worth, but I have plenty of male friends who are obviously depressed and I suspect even anorexic to a small degree yet have never thought about getting help and clearly don't want to talk about whatever problems they're facing. I think they definitely need to be encouraged to get a therapist if some sort.

I was extremely anti feminist about a year ago and started doing just this. It's been strange, but I'm definitely no longer an anti feminist. So I got that out of it.

I really don't mean to com off as offensive but I was sort of thinking the same thing to a lesser extent. It's kind of... not going to help the cause, only turn some more people away. I don't mean "Ugh I see something wrong with this sub bashing feminism" because I have no problem with that, it just feels really constant which is becoming annoying. I also don't disagree with the post here, but it feels overdone.

Parents are federal defenders attorneys and I've seen them get cases with teachers being sexually active with students, there have been cases where the sex was consensual, non statutory but still rape, and not consensual. There's been a lot. It's not different if the genders are reversed, the teacher is still going to get into serious trouble regardless. They're supposed to be protecting their students while they're in their care.

Well a lot of women had to plan the march and get the word out. So no matches for men have happened because no men have bothered to put one of such a grand scale together yet. That can always change. I doubt it will though.
