Yeah, with such questions, where it is about considering certain risks and comparing them to benefits, that's very useful statistics. But you can't say anything about all individuals in a group with such statistics if the percentage isn't 100%(which is still being done a lot)

What I mean, is that you are asking wether the fact that most divorces are imitated by women, says something about all women. You can't say anything about all women like that, cause you only say something about women wo initiate a divorce, which is (luckily) not all women. Gotta admit I was kinda vague

I didn't say you can't say anything about a group. Only that you can't say anything about the BEHAVIOR of an ENTIRE group, cause there are (almost) always individuals who behave differently. Except if it is a very small group or a group consisting of specifically chosen people maybe. Although it says something about a bigger group of women it doesn't say something about all of them. Cause first of all: not all women get a divorce and it doesn't say anything about the 15-25 percent who don't initiate a divorce. So, this is a much stronger argument, strongest I've seen in about an hour of scrolling on this sub, but it is still, although an undeniable fact, not something you can use to say something about all women.
