This is a case that I need the judge needs to ignore the guidelines. I have 1/2 custody of my kids and my state guidelines do not take into account split custody. The guidelines state my ex is entitled to full child support. The original judge that issued the divorce decree was reasonable and deviated from the guidelines. I only hope the family court judge has similar views.

I 100% agree. You do get what you pay for I just don't know if I need to pay a ton of money for a child support adjustment that probably doesn't have a lot of wiggle room. My choices are a $200 per hour local guy or a $500 per hour guy that has to drive an hour each way so I'm out $1000 every time he shows up in court. Two completely different leagues as far as lawyering capability and the confidence I have in them but I just am not sure that I get much bang for my buck with the higher-priced an…

Can we not call it equal pay? They want pay equity. Equal pay means everybody that does the same work gets the same pay (already happens.) Pay equity means they just want to get paid the same as everybody else without the sacrifice and effort.

This just isn't true. Look at the study that started the entire "pay gap" myth. It sums all of the money men earn and all the money women earn and then points to the difference. There is not a pay gap. There is an earnings gap. Women EARN less than men they are not PAID less than men.

If you are not sparring in a martial arts class it is generally regarded as a crap martial art class. I'm not saying all Krav Maga is crap because I haven't seen all Krav Maga classes, but the ones I have seen are utter crap. Take boxing, karate, tae kwon do, jiu-jitsu, etc. and you'll have effective self-defense that you have used against an opponent in a controlled environment.
