It wasn’t entirely your fault. Adultery should never be forgiven.I feel you man. Betrayal is not the natural consequence of a struggling marriage. It's a deliberate decision to deceive and violate trust. I loved her and my family. I find comfort knowing that my kids will eventually know their mother had an affair and left their dad. That will be part of her identity to them forever. | /r/Divorce_Men | 08/06/26 02:14 PM
M[37] “blindsided” with divorce from F[39]I was in a similar boat to you in March. Blindsided by a divorce from my wife. In December, we were making future plans with family and our 2 kids and in January she made up her mind it was over. None of her reasons made sense to me, nothing truly connected that made me understand. She was 3 months sober after years of alcoholism. I thought she was having a mental break or something. 2 months later I discovered the affair. Everything fell into place. She'd lied about where she was going/who she … | /r/Divorce_Men | 30/05/26 11:43 PM
Putting myself out there on some dating apps recentlyI remember being in my early 30s and realizing just being nice and dependable and reliable to women in their 20s was a game changer. A lot of women in mid-20s have yet to meet a nice guy who treats them well. If you can do that, it opens up so many doors. | /r/Divorce_Men | 29/05/26 01:42 PM

All I see for the future is darkness.Yes, I found Rachel Sloan on YouTube early in my grieving process. Her videos really help! She kinda dumps on the women (just enough to not be too much) and hits on a lot of points that you need to hear going forward. She did a roundtable video with 4 of her clients recounting their own experiences. Ive watched it like 3 times.....its really helped! | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/26 09:01 PM
First nightI feel you. Move out day for us is still weeks away. 50-50 shared. Im brainstorming ways to maximize my time with the kids, my stbx seems to be dreaming up vacations to take. Total mind-eff | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/05/26 07:23 PM
Haven’t been handling this well…Hey man, it will get better. An amicable divorce is a good place to start from. I'm 3 months into my second separation. Getting back to lifting weights has helped me both times. Get out of the house, get a long walk in, if it's near water, even better. Get a therapist, turn ChatGPT into a temporary therapist. Find some YouTube videos that talk about this stuff but try to avoid the ones that hate on women too much. You're 36, there are A LOT of single 30-40 year old women out there. In 18 months,… | /r/Divorce_Men | 04/05/26 09:05 PM
