I've just been on and scrolled for a while and I am not saying you are wrong in any way but I couldn't see anything promoting violence. It's not nice, I agree with you there though. Also Moid is only a thing because the incels started with Foid. Both horrid dehumanising names and shouldn't be being used at all but I just thought I would let you know where it came from. The Internet needs better moderation all round. It's a disgusting free for all right now. But the news is full of far worse towa…

I literally never said it was worse for women. I simply stated that more war crimes happen to women and female soldiers. Meaning that even if they aren't fighting they are often still dragged into it. Look up what generally happens to women in war zones. I never compared the two and I believe war is unnecessary. I don't think anyone, no matter what gender, should be forced into fighting in wars and I hate that so many bright young men had so much stolen from them. I'm just not ignorant to the fa…

My sentiments exactly. I would never know how it feels to be a man going through this crazy life without speaking to them. Thankyou for also being open enough to educate me on your perspective. I try really hard to get as balanced views as I can on things and people like you who are willing to spend the time with me really help ☺️ ♥️

I really appreciate you taking the time to write out a response. I wasn't trying to rage bait or anything but to genuinely understand your perspective. As a woman, a man's perspective obviously doesn't come naturally to me. I am certainly do not think of myself as a misandrist and I would hope to never go down that road with me having a son of my own and various men in different situations in my life who I also love and trust and want the best for. BUT, having said that, my history with men has …

Maybe keeping them from education, making their own money, owning their own land/property, not allowing them the right to vote. Putting in a sizeable pay gap when women first went out to work meaning that they could work the same or even more hours and still not be able to afford to live separately. Did you know that a lot of witches burned were widows or only daughters who inherited land they refused to give up to the men in charge at that point. So they accused them of witchcraft and set them …

I think in an ideal world every child should have a mother and a father but I am aware that it doesn't always happen for many reasons, good and bad. But especially when it comes to the parent that does stay, regardless of gender, then we should cool it with the shame or assumptions. I'm a single mum. It's tough. I am part of a local group for single parents, men and women, and it's not easy for any of us. Parenting is a job that by design was supposed to include 2 people. Historically, it took a…

That's what I was sort of trying to get across sharing my experience. And I don't think either of these men are particularly poor fathers. But when your own father can't protect you from allergies or remember your birthday, it does say a lot. And I can only really speak on my experiences but I have met a decent amount of people that have similar feelings about their father's. On the plus side, I do think there are more modern fathers choosing, like you, to do better than the previous generations…

Ok. I'll go with you for a moment. What injustice did women do to men in the past that caused men as pretty much a whole to react in the ways that have happened in the history books. Misogyny goes back for centuries and there are many examples for these kinds of women to latch on to as reasonable arguments for what they are saying. Misandry is a relatively new concept due to women not having the means to be misandrist in the past. But I can't remember any points in history where women went out o…

I also think now would be a good time to commend you in your original post for letting us know how you plan to change this in your own way by making sure you are a present Dad that does want to have this knowledge about their child. The more examples we see of men stepping away from what is seen, correctly or incorrectly, as the norm, the more we can do away with things like this all together because it simply wouldn't be applicable anymore. For anyone.

I never suggested to do that. I also don't think I said anything misandrist. I just relayed my experience on the topic which is typically what people do on discussion forums such as reddit. I feel like you've really jumped on my comment and it really wasn't necessary

Well it can't be just my own experience that supports it or the meme wouldnt exist. I didn't make it 😂 and I did also clarify that I was just talking from my own experience.

I agree the comments are way too much but I do lean to agree with the other commenters here on the main post. If she decides for herself and herself only not to engage with men that's her choice. You have the same choice to decide for yourself not to engage with whoever you don't want to engage with. She didn't name call or say anything awful or try to start a movement. But yeah, the comments on the images are a lot!

You know that this just shows that dads abandoning their kids harms the kids don't you. All the fact that statistically you are far more likely to have a single mum than a single dad. I'm not saying you are wrong. The stats do show these figures but it is important to read the whole study and not just the headline. It's actually one of the more interesting ones when it drills down.

To be fair, my dad had to call my mum or get lists from her to take me and my sister to the doctors and my sons dad puts me on speakerphone if he has to take him instead. Neither man have ever bothered to learn this information and I doubt either of these men could tell you allergies, history etc. My dad didn't even learn my birthday till my late teens and that's only because I told him it upset me that he couldn't be bothered to remember it. In my experience, this meme sadly makes sense

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
