There are serious questions as to how much feminism has even done for women. The problem is that the only way to do that would be for all men to start refusing any services to such women. They would have to be forced to feel the fact that their standard of living depends on men working and supporting them even if they are invisible to them. Yes, completely true. If the act of testing for something is frequently based in reasonable suspicion that the test will return a positive result then the statistics of test results will be skewed towards positive results. If you go to a doctor with a suspicion that you are sick you have higher probability of actually being sick compared to random person from the entire population. Mass reporting wil not yield the result you want. All of the reports will be ignored just because they are mass reports. I live in Poland so I think I'm suitable person to answer your question. I think the main reason is that when we had communism there were times when it hard to buy many things or get to a doctor. People (mostly men, because women would help each other) just didn't have the opportunity or money to find a therapist or someone else to help them. Also in the central and eastern Europe most people are also less willing to look for help nor they are encouraged to do so (especially in my country).
